Terrible dealer service, awful front line staff came in with an a/c leak told me it was gonna be 1hr instead of 1/2hr quoted. And if they don’t get to fix it they will drain the gas out, they had me, the drained it. I said they should have told me before they put it up on the hoist so I could make a decision. They had me since this was a diagnosis appt in the middle of summer. They drained it. Took the Toyota su vey gave them totally unsatisfied Got an e mail from Josianne parent apologizing wanted to give me a credit if I came back. Came back, Josianne parent and luc Sylvester promised to find the leak, no problem, the so called tech found the leak he claimed. I asked if he’s sure... he’s sure.... he ran it for an hour over filled it with gas and found it. Hose leak, 800 dollars. Got it done. Got it home, clamps not on right. Two months later it empty, a/c empty not working. Josianne parent and service manager luc Sylvester don’t respond to phone calls and two e mails. This a/c would last 10 months on a charge now leaked out in two after bel air touched it. No response ignoring all attempts to contact Josianne parent or luc Sylvester. Stay away they are terrible and have horrible service department techs don’t know what there doing, lure you back with a promise to make it right but in the end just take your money and ignore you when the job eventually fails to solve the problem. Don’t expect Josianne or luc to be there when you have a problem after the service

not the best experience in general. Sales rep was great, in the beginning. tried hard to help, but at the end of the day i wish i would deal with another dealership. Could not get the car while one was in stock at another dealer in the city, had to wait two weeks. I was ready to cancel the deal, even to lose the deposit and go with another dealer. When i asked the other dealer why they did not sell the car to BelAir he said they are not dealing with them...I wish I would not either. I know for sure i will not be recommending my friends to go there and will never ever service my car there.

My family has been doing business with Bel-Air for over 25 years so when I needed to buy a pickup there was no question, I was going to Bel-Air. I bought a 2017 Tacoma and my sales experience with Rey was nothing short of amazing, and still is as he's working hard with me to fix a problem that's now been ongoing since September 2019...

The issue started when I tried to connect my trailer's electrical to my almost new truck. The trailer lights didn't work properly but worked with my smaller 4 pin utility trailer. I assumed it was the worn down wiring on my trailer so I had it rebuilt and rewired. The lights and breaks still weren't working properly with new wiring so I tested the wiring, then headed to the Bel-Air service center where I got the run around. Was told that someone elsw came in last week with the same problem and it was the trailer that was the issue, and that I should get my trailer checked again. After 15 minutes of arguing and demanding that they check my truck, they finally did. 2 hours later I was told that I was right and that the problem originated in the dashboard, and that they would have to order the part but that it would take a few weeks.

It's been almost 6 months now and still no part. First I was told it was coming on the boat from Japan. Then I was told there was no trace of my work order, so no part. Then in January I was told it was coming from California. Now as of today it's being checked on, but still no part.

I bought this truck to be able to tow my boat. We're getting close to spring and I won't be able to launch my boat or get it out of storage until this is fixed and I'm insanely unhappy at this point. I understand problems but don't feed me lies.

I do however, want to thank Rey for his outstanding and amazing customer service and all his help, but he can only do so much.
Seems to me at this point that Bel-Air loves you until you walk out the door with your product. After that you don't really matter especially if you're looking for work that's under warranty.

I just bought my first car from Bel-Air Toyota and couldn't be more pleased with the treatment I received from Geoff, JP, Hannah, and the rest of the team.

The bottom line is that they weren't trying to sell me a car. I was already planning on buying one, so they didn't need to. Instead they focused on is making sure that the car I bought was the right one for me and that I was going to be happy driving it for the next several years.

It's this mindset that made the experience so exemplary. They weren't trying to push a certain model, or upgrades, or fiddling with sticker prices to make it look like I was getting a great deal. This post is in regards to their service. I do not own a Toyota car but I do own an electric car. Two times now I've parked my car during working hours to charge only to come back to their dealership after hours to see that someone has turned off the charger.

If I come after hours to start the charge then it's fine. No one there to turn it off. You have the right to not welcome non Toyota vehicles to charge on your lot. It's your lot. However, the sincere thing to do is let the person charge and leave a not. Not disconnect the power from within the building and leave people stranded. After all it's an electric car.

Toyota dealership do not have any incentive to provide good customer service.

Real shame that you don't support the electric car movement and I see your cars parked at the dealership where I bought mine.

I dealt with JP when leasing our new CH-R. Top notch service. I've leased two Toyotas previously, both from Tony Graham, and I have to say I prefer Bel-Air. Although Toyota's sales staff is great across the board, I really felt that JP was transparent and went the extra mile to get me the best deal. Jonathan is by far my favourite mechanic since he always takes good care of our cars and reminds me when things need to be replaced ahead of time so I can budget for it. Ken was our dealer, and he made the whole process so effortless and stress free; we never felt any pressure and he was very honest with us. Even as we left the dealership on the first day we looked at the car, he said we could take as much time as we needed and that we could call him with any questions concerning the car or the trade-in.
Cynthia made sure the paper work got done and explained all the the financial side of things, as well as warranty.

I went into the dealership to learn about the new Toyota I just purchased. The service representative I dealt with was not knowledgeable and downright rude. When I asked for an estimate for a service (turning off the beeps from remote unlock (manual says can be turned off by Toyota) he said they didn't do that and to read my manual. When I said the manual instructions were to have it done at Toyota, all he did was tell me their hourly rate and became even more rude when I asked for an actual quote. I had planned to go there regularly for service, but as a result of this experience, I will never go back.

I hope there was a star that represents (Does not qualify to be rated even). Bel-Air Toyota is being deceiving. They did not do the sliding door repair properly and Manager was rude and insulting. Today March 16, 2016, I had a horrible experience with Toyota Bel-Air Toyota in Ottawa, Ontario. Yesterday I went to this dealer because my sliding doors on my Toyota Sienna are not opening electrically due to snapped cable. The right door was not opening more than 20 centimeters the other one was fully opening. I called Toyota Canada after I was denied warranty by the dealer and they told me that by SPA (Special Policy Adjustment ) they will fix them and they created a case # then asked me to go to the dealer again. After a long discussion, I managed to convince the dealer that they have a case number from Toyota Canada and that it is fully covered. Then the dealer said but we will charge you diagnosis fee of $115. I said why? We know the problem, you identified it in a previous time when you denied me the warranty before I called Toyota Canada. Then after consultation between agent and manager, I was told that diagnosis will be waived if that was the problem. Around 8:00 am, I was told by the agent that the work is covered by warranty and that there is nothing I have to pay for. I signed some papers and they started work. At 4:16 pm on March 15, I received a call telling me that my car is ready to pick up. I arrived there 4:55 pm and did a check and found out that the right sliding door is not opening properly. I spoke to the agent who brought a technician who told the agent and l that the technician who was working on the door took a very long time trying to fix this door and he was having a hard time doing the job. So he decided that best course of action was to come back tomorrow at 7:30 a.m to fix it. I went this morning at 7:30 am and gave the keys for the technician to check how long will it take to complete yesterday's work. In about half-an-hour the agent came back to tell me that there is a missing roller in the hinge and showing me an invoice of some $400 worth of labour plus cost of the hinge. According to the technician that did the job yesterday, there is a missing roller causing the play in the hinge and that the hinge with the rollers are not covered by the warranty so I would have to pay for those. I asked the agent so the technician who was fixing the car yesterday installed the door knowing that the hinge is missing a roller and did not identify this as a problem or informed us that there is a problem and just put it all back as if there's nothing wrong and now that I came back with this issue he is saying that there is a missing roller. My question is, how did it get missing, like what happened? Did the manufacturer miss putting it there? Unfortunately, I believe that your technician while fixing the door yesterday probably broke that roller or lost it and is trying to hide his mistake, the door was rolling perfectly prior to you fixing it. Then the agent went to the technician and came back saying that only a part of the roller is missing again the word missing. I said I understand the word broken, damaged but not missing. I said well, I don't see how is that my responsibility I got you the door with no problem other than a snapped cable and the door does not open all the way because of that so now you're telling me there's another issue I believe that this issue happened while my car was in your care. I don't feel I can trust this dealership, with you guys there's always a problem. I told them I believe it's on your side and I think that you're responsible for that. Then the manager came and was really rude and he said this work was done under warranty, it finishes here, get out. I said, say good morning first. Then he said good morning, it's done here, finished, take your keys and get out. I am writing this review to make people aware of the rudeness and the deceiving nature of Bel-Air Toyota. Had I not pursued my concern with Toyota Canada, Bel-Air Toyota was going to charge me about $5000 to fix them.

Rey Cubar - Just leased our second vehicle through Rey and it was a great experience. Rey's personality and customer service makes it a fun event. He has a great sense of humour, knows the car business and is very reasonable to negotiate with. All in all Rey is highly recommended by this customer and I look forward to doing business with him again. We especially appreciated the time he took to explain how systems in the car worked.
