Shauna Mager was excellent. She was friendly , knew the Corolla front and backwards and helped us to get the best deal possible and we were able to get more for our trade in than originally decided. Our sales associate Mason was available with a friendly helpful attitude the minute we walked into the building. He took us on a test drive of a used car we were interested in, and was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and pleasant and accommodating on the test drive. He was a pleasure to deal with and answered all our questions promptly and professionally. There was no pressure to buy and yet we felt that the dealership made efforts to negotiate but without any of the typical waiting and usual dealership games. When we decided to buy the vehicle on the next business day Mason responded to our phone call prior to the start of his work day and followed up with us after arriving at the dealership and speaking to management on our behalf. The dealership as a whole was very professional and did not have the unpleasant 'used car salesman' vibe; all the staff we dealt with were pleasant and made us feel that our business with them was important and was done respectfully and fairly. We were very happy with our experience, with the dealership, with our salesman Mason and with our purchase. We would highly recommend Frontier Toyota and their staff. We had been to several other dealerships in the city during our search for a/this car, and our experience at Frontier Toyota was definitely positively different. If you don't want the typical high pressure, unpleasant car sales experience, Frontier Toyota is the place to go.

Went into frontier Toyota with my son, with no previous experience buying a newer vehicle through a big dealership, as I have gone through smaller, used car places. Upon walking through the door, and honestly a little nervous and unsure, I was greeted by Cory. Within minutes of talking to him and narrowing down what I was looking for, all my worries went away. He made the idea of buying a vehicle super easy, and he was super attentive to my vehicle needs, and even being completely honest about what I would need, despite me suggesting other things out of my own personal preference. He could have sold me the most expensive vehicle, but he straight up told me that it was not what I was looking for based off what features I initially suggested. I have never experienced such professionalism and such honesty, that I will trust these guys and especially Cory for life! He even kept my son distracted while I went through all the processes of purchasing my new vehicle! Absolutely amazing service!
Had a very pleasant experience buying a car from them. Sales people are straightforward and didn’t argue with me for 20 minutes on the inherent contradictions in my needs and wants like some other dealers. Eric Anderson in sales and Lori Podaima in finance needs special mention here. Eric, one of those very few salespeople left in the city who understand their customer's needs and refrains from going on a standard sales rant if the customers are not into it. No-nonsense clean dealings. Lori is meticulous and efficient while being cheerful at the same time. There were no hidden charges. A welcome change after frustrating times with many major dealers in Winnipeg for weeks.
I walked into Frontier Toyota to begin looking for a replacement to my vehicle. I was advised that my previous sales person had retired so I was immediately introduced to Shayna Kemel!!! I should have bought a lottery ticket that day because who would've known I would get hooked up with such a superstar. Shayna was great to work with. I went to Frontier looking at a used 2018 Soul they had there. Despite being very busy they made time for my drop in and were very accommodating offering beverages multiple times.
All dealerships should operate the way that Frontier does. The entire process was no hassle, Shaun let me take my time looking through the car and when it came time to numbers he let me have time to digest what is admittedly a large financial purchase.
Esa explained every step of the financing very clearly and professionally and choosing options was pleasant instead of feeling like a battle.
There were no hidden fees and none of the standard bad dealership tactics were employed. Just a clean honest sale. I highly recommend them.

Had an exceptional buying experience from Frontier Toyota recently! We have very high expectations of customer service and they were not only met, but exceeded! We had the pleasure of working with Mason Sutherland in sales and he was amazing to deal with. Professional, caring, and quite simply there to be supportive as needed with any questions. We love Toyota for their service and their vehicles reliability. We own a Toyota Wigo from where we came from and we never miss a single payment.
We were excited to go this Toyota dealership because we were confident we'll have a very good experience based on our experience buying a vehicle from a Toyota dealership back from where we came from. "It's Toyota! It's gotta be good", I said to my wife.
Then we were there. Salesperson was awesome! Like a Toyota guy will serve you. Two test drives later, we chose a vehicle (RAV4 SE over the VENZA V6 2016). And just like that, they shook our hands and said "Congratulations!" My wife and I were very surprised! Is it that easy?
Then to financing. This part really turned us off. She asked for a downpayment and co-signee so to get us approved and also asked for a deposit to lock-in that certain model. Now my question, I came to the dealership because they advertised in their website of a ZERO downpayment. I raised that question to her and said those are for people who have a good credit history, for example, people who are born in Canada and have good credit standing, people who have mortgages that don't have bad credit. She even said something in her 16 years experience of working, implying a bad experience from our race.
So if you advertise a ZERO downpayment, I think you should honor it. Or put a some kind of info in there that the ZERO downpayment are for those who have a good credit history. We've only been here for 3 months, so far our experience is good. But in that three months how can we build a credit history. If you want credit history, why don't you look at our credit history from where we came from? You'll be surprised that we never miss a single payment. Yeah you have mortgages, but I have a piece of land that we paid in full. No mortgages.
Now I'm having second thoughts or maybe it is just this Toyota dealership.
But the good thing is, we have a lot of choices. Different makes and models are out there to choose from.
UPDATE: They called me and was very apologetic. Kudos to them for calling, I think it's the Toyota way. I really love Toyota.
UPDATE 2: We did not get the car we wanted because TFS didnt approve the loan. Reason is we don't have enough credit history here. But I would recommend this dealership for their service.
Good to know we were not alone. After reading all the positive comments, I could not see why our experience was so bad. Read the comment from Ana and Vladamir below. We had the exact same experience at Frontier. The sales person (although new) was great. When it came time to deal with the manager, we met the most obnoxious and rude person we have met in years. When you debate price with him, even when you are polite, he gestures and uses intimidating body language, then grabs the papers off the desk , turns his back and walks away . He "storms off" waving the paper over his shoulder as to say "get lost". It was as if he was dismissing children. We were actually shocked by this. I have purchased a lot of cars in my life, and have never met a person like that. All I could think of is that this would be the person we would have to deal with if we had any issues. We thanked the salesman for his time and walked out.
