I received a call pretty quickly after submitting my unhaggle. By the time the sales person added mandatory rubber mats, mandatory rubber mat for the truck, etc....that are actually not mandatory items, the cost he quoted me for the vehicle was more than posted rated on the autotrader.
There product was overpriced when compared to the competion so I went elsewhere
Great Sales Lady throughout and very helpful and willing to answer questions and find answers to questions if not knowing the answer directly. Was somewhat disappointed in the financing details, in not obtaining the Loyalty Discount on the Interest Rate. This is our 4th vehicle from this dealership and we learned that the Loyalty Discount only applied if currently in debt with the dealership and making payments. We had paid our prior purchases off and payments had concluded. That policy seems counter to good business sense and contrary to the whole concept of rewarding customer loyalty. As well, I needed to point out, the at the time 10% discount on accessories, to the finance people, who I think should have been well aware of it without needing my input and requested correction, when writing up the purchase agreement.
Visited the dealer twice; 1 last December looking a for a 4 Runner advertised in there web. Art del Rosario checked for the vehicle and has been sold. He did not pursue to look 1 for me and I ended buying my 2016 trail edition at Toyota Mac Philips.
Just this September my daughter & I visited the same dealer for a RAV 4 - Toyota clear out event, no sales person did bother to attend us. WE left the dealership disappointed. Went to Birchwood Honda at Regent and brought home a 2017 CR-V EX. Jocelyn Edic & Russel dela Cruz greet us with warn smile and closed a deal in about 1 hour. Wonderful buying experience with Jocelyn who also attended me with my first CR-V 5 years ago.

Scam artists. My elderly father wanted to have the brake pedal height adjusted on his car that has only 15,000 km yet this place tried to charge my father for a complete brake and rotor replacement job that was completely not needed. Not a single thing wrong with the brakes and they were not worn out at all. Nice job trying to take advantage of the elderly.

I received excellent customer service and will definitely do my future maintenance there at Birchwood Toyota because of him. they list vehicles on auto trader that are upgraded models and then when you contact them, those vehicles aren't available at that price. Bait and switch dealer, avoid at all costs.
In response to your response the truck pictured is misrepresented on auto trader as a TRD model and when I speak to your sales people it is absolutely not a TRD model. You have not fixed anything and continue to bait and switch people. Liars gonna lie.
I set forth my expectations in purchasing a new car regarding pressure/forceful sales. My sales rep was amazing. He respected and listened to my needs yet stayed in touch through the process to get the vehicle I wanted. The whole process was smooth and timely. If I could rate my experience above five stars I would. Adrienn Guinto and the sales team at Birchwood Toyota absolutely knocked it out of the park. I have been to several dealerships in my time and I have never experienced such genuine and transparent customer service. Adrienn truly did everything in his power to ensure I didn’t spend a penny above my needs. He juxtaposed that with an incredible vehicle buying experience. It was something I would expect from a luxury brand. From sales to finance, I couldn’t be happier with my experience here. Kudos.
I had problem with 2019 Toyota 4runner screen. I called in Toyota at Waverly and on Regent to book an appointment as they were close to my home. They had awful long period of wait time. Then I called Birchwood Toyota at West, I got my appointment the very next day. LUKE SANTOS dealt me and solved my problem in no time. To me they really care about customer’s time and business. It is definitely worth sometime of driving to get this customer service. Because of Luke I will always get my service with him.
I bought a new vehicle here and almost every aspect of the transaction was terrible. I strongly recommend shopping elsewhere, because you can't do worse.
In summary, I found:
- The finance manager, Scott Buchanan, to be both dishonest and childish
- The sales manager, Andrew Robinson, routinely lied out of convenience
- The product specialist was familiar with how to pair a phone to the stereo and nothing else
- Literally every dealer accessory was installed incorrectly or not at all
- The vehicle had grease throughout the interior (including the headliner) and damage to the center console.
- The sales manager Adam and lot attendant Caezar worked really hard to resolve the issues their coworkers created. I appreciated their efforts to clean up after their coworkers, but it shouldn't have been necessary in the first place. Selling a brand new vehicle is as technically demanding as falling down a flight of stairs.
On the whole, I found it a pretty grim joke for staff members to congratulate me on my purchase as I left, with a service appointment planned before I ever drove the vehicle. They should have congratulated each other. Toyota may have made a decent vehicle in the first place, but it took the combined efforts of the staff at Birchwood to make the experience so frustrating, that I go out of my way to warn off as many people as possible.
I've dealt with 3 different Toyota dealership's service departments through my 15 years of owning Toyota's. I have never had a bad of an experience as this. Rude employee, was lied to when I purchased my vehicle as to what I recieved with my service plan, was given false information when I called the generic Birchwood phone number. I honestly asked how I can get my money back for my service plan and will be looking into to this more. Frontier and the Waverly location are a million times better.
We had a very great experience there with Marc Alary, one of the salesmen. We were looking for a used car, which they did not have, but his approach was very nice. He came up to us, asked us how we are and then asked us if he could help us. He wrote down the info about what kind of car we were looking for, and even though he couldn't find the one, he still keeps in touch with us, and seems to be concerned about finding the right vehicle for us. We had a good experience with him at Birchwood Toyota. Thanks, Marc!
Great Place to buy a long lasting vehicle, I bought a used 2013 Toyota Rav4 there which hasn't ever let me down, 1 thing is for sure, the service is beyond any other auto dealers, they are highly train to look after there customers and to build a long lasting relationship with there clients.
Rav4's and Corolla's 2020 make don't have block heaters..... so consider that when buying new. We had no idea...but don't fret for another $327.42 plus tax you can get one installed. Unreal pay so much for a new car only to have to pay out more for this! We live in Winnipeg are you kidding?. Plus another ton of annoying things we've dealt with here... I highly doubt our price was added correctly without a block heater....

We really needed guidance and she gave us honest unbiased advice..NO PRESSURE and she has access sell any car in the BirchwoodAuto Park. She quickly and skillfully narrowed down Mom's options to suit Mom's needs. We truly feel lucky to have had HAYDEN help us.. We really appreciate her time, effort and exceptional service. I was at Birchwood Toyota to test out a vehicle. My sales advisor was Kyle McIsaac. I can vouch that he is one of the best sales I have encountered to date. He is knowledgable, he has a passion for what he does and for Toyota. He always answer questions and I felt he was genuinely trying to help me select the car that I want, then trying to sell a product. I would recommend him to anyone who's thinking about buying a Toyota.
Also Birchwood also has better selection of vehicle to test than others in the city.

Lovely place, friendly customer service...beautiful cars in pristine condition.
We arrived at almost closing time with our 2006 truck and towing an RV trailer. The truck required new wheel bearings. Luke our service rep very quickly booked us in and gave us a spot in their lot to park our trailer for the night. Parts were ordered and work was started the next day. We were on our way the following day. Thanks to the very friendly, and efficient staff who made us feel welcome camping in their back yard and reception area for two days.
I would not recommend salesperson Shujie Wang, in two visits he told 8 times that he is the top salesperson in whole team. We didn't feel comfortable to deal through him he asked our opinion about the price and our offer than he made a joke on our offer, he was so pushy, we felt like we are in bazar and buying item from street salesman.
He told things that comes with vehicle (warranty etc) and made deal on vehicle which were not true, so basically he lied.

The service is exceptional. From bringing your car into the appointment service bay to waiting for your vehicle the attention to customer comfort is outstanding. If you can't wait they will shuttle you back and forth and also offer the option of picking up your vehicle for service.
Purchased a used vehicle from this location Joel mazur was good ,a little much when going back and forth with offers , but as buyers we want what's best for our vehicle so he understood thank Joel for everything he even called back asking how things were which that for buyers does go a long way , now my confusion we had gotten winter tires on our deal with the car we had bought only to find out swap aren't free I think from a customer stand point dealerships should kinda reliase everyone wants swaps for free If your wanting it part of of car sale ,we can expect swaps to be free considering you can buy tires anywhere in the city and some companies do it for free as long as your buy the tires and rims from their location , some little confusion between me and Adam Sales mgr but I wont be going across the city just so I can pay then 40 dollars for a tire swap when I live next to a kal tire who will do the same or free 🙃 disappointed but beware buyers trying to save money we live in Canada winter and summer are two different things and all season tires just dont so the trick

Everyone is always friendly and helpful, from the service reps right to the ladies at the service desk. My most recent service rep was Brent Reimer and although I've not had a bad experience with other service reps, my most recent dealing with him was by far the best yet! He was happy, fun to deal with, and obviously understands how important good friendly customer service is. He has now officially become my go to guy! :)
Friendly staff. Willing to help and discuss the difference in the models, this was on my first visit. Next day I went back for a test drive, on the way out to the new SUV the salesperson asked were my wife was. I told him she wasn't available. He proceeded to say that I could make a decision without her and I said yes. He then proceeded to say yes as women don't know anything about cars, I quickly told him that was not the case and my wife was very knowledgeable when it came to cars, motorcycles and snowmobiles. While on the test drive the salesman asked about other cars I was looking at and that I previously owned. He then would bad mouth them, while praising the ride of the test SUV. I told him the test SUV was new and should ride nice. After returning to the dealership I got some numbers from him and left saying I would return the next day. The next morning I went back and asked him to get his sales manager. When the sales manager came I told him how much I liked the new SUV but would not buy from his dealership. He said you won't buy here and I said NO. I then told him what took place the day before with regards to the test drive. He apologized, I then left the dealership, received a phone call later from the sales manager again he apologized and said he talked to the salesman about what he did. I would not recommend this dealership.
We recently purchased a corolla from the dealership and it was a great experience. Our agent, Andrew Robinson was amazing! Apart from giving us a reasonable deal, he was very diligent and patient with all our questions and concerns. He is very knowledgeable about his products and that of the competition. Now, he still takes time to answer our after purchase inquiries. We live on the other size of the city but it was worth the drive. Would highly recommend him!
