I knew what I wanted, so sales staff really had no work involved, polite cautious and all happy, however once arrived to pick up vehicle sales staff made me feel like I was an inconvenience, I was promised an in depth review of the vehicle features, what I got was a 15 minute run through of the Bluetooth features. Which of course has nothing to do with knowing the vehicle or being a better safe driver. I voiced my concern and was contacted by the sales manager, all he had to offer was an apology. I like my new Crosstrek Sport, sales team were and still are in my mind are lacking service.

Up to now I have been pleased with service for my 2011 Outback. However my wife had a scheduled maintenance done by Mills Nissan on July 13 2016 at 60,000 K while I had essentially the same scheduled maintenance for 60,000 k done at Rally Subaru. Cost for her service was $288.94; for my Outback it was $691. 20. I can see some extra service cost because of all wheel drive but not twice as much. As much as I like the Outback I will be reluctant to recommend the make to others with such disparities in maintenance costs.

What an amazing experience dealing with Rally Subaru, Xerexs did a great job! So quick with responses and sending me a detailed video of the car! He made purchasing a vehicle from a distance an incredible experience. Reed in finance was also such a pleasure to deal with. After dealing with 6 other dealerships in the city, on my way home from the last, I decided I'd give Rally Subaru a shot. Little did I know it was going to be the most welcoming and comforting dealership.

Scott was the sales rep to help me find the car i was looking for and was able to get it to fit within my budget. He was extremely helpful and super understanding and nice.

Once it came to payments, I dealt with Reed in finance and he was awesome. He explained every single detail and answered all questions that i had with no hesitation.He was fun to talk to and made the whole painful process of buying a new car much easier.

I reached out via online as I work shift work, and normal business hours are not always easy to accommodate. I worked with Jade; who was incredible. Staff are nice an friendly at Rally. Their shop rates are steep in comparison to Red Deer and Centaur in Calgary, as is their parts. Picked up some cross bars today and they were 30 dollars more than what Calgary quoted me, if I wasn’t going on a ski trip soon definitely would have made the trip to Calgary as they do not price match. Although I have no idea what their overhead is, if they weren’t so expensive in comparison to other dealerships they would have my service. Rally is much better than City Subaru in terms of customer service, which is surprising as they are both owned by the same person. For now I’ll make my trips to Calgary for service.

I went to the ‘other’ Subaru dealership in Edmonton, planning on buying car number three from them and had the worst car buying experience one could ever have. I bolted and headed for Rally Subaru and it was the complete opposite. From the salesman Xerxes Rodin who was awesome, and I’ve dealt with a lot of sales from a lot of different dealerships. He went above and beyond with the sales. Honestly one of the most pleasant car buying experiences. And then there was the finance situation, Rio Foster, our finance agent, also made it a fantastic voyage. I cannot day enough good things about Rally Subaru. We bought a new Forester after a month ago. We visited Rally Subaru few times before our purchase. Ivan Zhao, the sale rep was very helpful, polite, friendly and not pushy. We had 'our space' to make a right decision for us. Rio Foster, the financial guy was very outgoing, professional and pleasant to deal with. His soft sense of humor was appreciated.
There was a little hassle around a car delivery, as there wasn't locally available a color we have chosen. That's why 4 stars only :)
Overall, our experience was smooth and we would refer our friends or family to this dealership without any hesitance.

Bought a 2012 subaru forester brand new. Followed the maintenance schedule Meticulously and even through Subaru dealerships. Vehicle is now out of warranty and consumes a gross amount of oil. Recently brought in for a recall and the service department said it would be a couple hours over the phone when booking in, after arriving was informed it would take upwards of 6 hours. We live 2 hours from the city and was not apologized for this situation, the only reason 2 stars was given was that a loaner vehicle was provided to run errands (otherwise it would have been numerous shuttles around the city).

Was constantly being approached to purchase a new vehicle by sales staff, when waiting around dealership. But why purchase a new Subaru when they don't seem care about the one we own? We have both only owned Subaru's since buying our first vehicles, and will be due for one shortly due to previously stated reasons.

Have since started taking vehicle to a different shop for maintenance, as the cost to continue maintenance at the dealership is too pricey. I will end off on saying that the parts staff is excellent, but I do not get to deal with them as much as I'd like.

I had posted the below review a few days ago. Within a couple days we had received a call from Rally Subaru acknowledging they are not able to service calls in a timely manner, provided reasons for why this has happened, and told us they planned on expanding their service department to deal with this issue in the future. While a two week wait is still unacceptable, their response is consistent with how we've treated by Rally Subaru over the years, and so a boost to three stars (from two) seems reasonable.

Very disappointed would be what we’re feeling about Rally Subaru. We are original owners of an Outback purchased new in 2005. We have remained faithful to the dealership having virtually all our regular maintenance and service completed by Rally. This year, after an extended vacation, we returned to find our Subaru wouldn’t start even after having the battery on a charger. We phoned Rally on July 3 inquiring about having our car towed in. We were then informed that it could not be looked at until July 17th at earliest. Two full weeks without a vehicle after 14 years of regular service. We were left to search out an independent garage that services Subaru’s where we had it towed the same day and who had it ready to go by noon the following day after a 20-minute fix.

Coincidently, we had already decided we would be looking for a new vehicle in the next few months. The chance of that now being a Subaru dropped several notches.

I took my 2015 impreza in for warranty work on my transmission. The first time it went in I got it back within 10 days, all seemed well drove it for 3000km and the gears piled up because a spring pin was missed during install. Had vehicle towed back in and this time it was gone for another 10 days, this time when I was driving it home the car was shaking and smelled like burning transmission fluid. Was advised to take it to a local shop as I live 1.5 hrs away. Local shop diagnosed and vehicle had to be towed back again. This time it has been gone for going on 8 weeks. Now we are still waiting on a shifting fork apparently. I am at my wits end waiting for a car that could have just had a new transmission dropped in after the second tow. Also my car now has damage from the tow on the front bumper that I am going to have to apparently go to the tow company about. I am less than impressed with the level of care I have received during this 11 week debacle.

On July 2019 I bought a 2018 Outback from this dealership with extended warranty and the protection package they recommended.

Eight months passed by and I began to notice small rust spots on the doors and I contacted the dealership however, I was directed to contact the company that provided the paint protection package. Upon contacting the said company, I was told to contact the dealer as the issue appears to be a manufacturing defect.

I then attended the dealerahip and spoke with the service manager who began to educate me how paint works and how I should polish the car instead of complaining about an issue she thinks was trivial. At the end I had to speak with the manager who agreed to look into the issue.

After a month later the main LED display went out and upon calling the dealership I was asked to come after 20 days. I drove the vehicle without a map, a stereo and other associated apps and reverse assistance for 20 days.

On day 20 I went to the dealership only to be told that they cant fix the issue at this moment and will have to order the display which will arrive in 5-7 business days. Then they will book an appointment. The service desk personnel told me it's just a display so they wont rush to fix the issue. I paid close to 50K for this vehicle and what I got was staff with attitude who refused to help me. I wont recommend this dealership.

This is an outstanding Subaru dealer. I live out of town and often have to do my own mechanical work (there’s not much to do on an Outback even at 19 years of age and 400,000kms)
But sometimes I have a question or to ask advice. The service department is always more than accommodating and like they aren’t making any money on it. They just want you to enjoy the Subbies.
When the Outback gives out (but it may outlive me) I would buy from Rally)
I would recommend them totally. Stop in and meet these people if you’re considering buying a Subaru or want reliable, personal, knowledgeable service on your vehicle.

Go there and talk to Micheal Kwong if you want to buy a Subaru car, I bought used Subaru Impreza last month with a very good deal. There was a small issue of the car I asked him one week later and he was still very willing to help me solve the issue. There was only one key when I bought the car, he arranged me a second key for free after one month I bought the car (I did not even ask for the second key). I never thought they still take good care of customer after one month. Very modest and friendly guy, talk to him and you will never be regret.

As a first time car buyer, there was an overwhelming amount of things to know, research and ask about, especially with a somewhat limited budget.

Stephen Gable, my salesperson, did an absolutely fantastic job of explaining everything to me - from how the car-buying process works, to details about my engine, to negotiating a really low price for me with his manager Mick.

Stephen was personable and took the time to ask and truly listen to what it was I was looking for (over a cup of tea he offered me from his personal and impressive tea stash). He let me test drive the cars (so much fun!!) and gave me honest and well-balanced advice throughout the car-buying process.

Finally when handing me the keys, he reminded me that he came with the car too (not physically, of course!). Since buying my car in May, he has been great at following up with me periodically to ensure my car and I are happy.

Then I decided to go to Rally Subaru then Stephen was the guy that really made an effort to look for the car that I was looking for when I was told at the previous dealership that it is sold out and didn't even bother giving me hope in finding the car that I wanted.
