Brylan really screwed us over... told us we were approved, then harrassed us for a week to come on down to pick up our new vehicle so we drove 4 hours to the dealership to pick it up, my wife told him we couldn’t afford the trip down but promised we would leave happy and even refund the gas for trip down, long story short brylan lied like the sleezy pos he is. He comes to us and tells us we are actually not approved and nothing he can do, so he lied to us for a week texting saying hurry your approval only last till tonight! Kept saying you guys are approved come on down and get your new car, once he told us we are not approved, me and my wife called him out for wasting our whole day making the trip down and lying about being approved, we then left as we just knew this dealership only plays dirty, as we got in our car to leave, brylan comes over and literally got in our face in my window and said some pretty nasty stuff, I couldn’t believe he just came up to us after what they just put us threw and got in my face, I got scared as hell and took off in my car, I said to my wife as we drove off, “that was the most unprofessional sales man I’ve ever seen” from lying about being approved to a young mom to getting in our faces after we left the lot, I’ll be phoning the owner of Nanaimo Nissan, & will contact corporate as well, (DONT BUY FROM NANAIMO NISSAN)

My partner just purchased a Nissan from Chris and it was a great experience. They spoke on the phone for a couple weeks regarding criteria that was needed out of this vehicle. Chris was very helpful and kept all of my partners needs in mind. As soon as we got there Chris had a vehicle waiting for us to try. Wes was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a full walk through of the vehicle, as my partner has never owned a Nissan before. The finance gal was also amazing (I very regrettably forget her name :( )
Over all it was a very smooth interaction and comfortable experience. All our needs were met and the vehicle exceeds our expectations.

I've been going to Nissan for years now, and every time I leave dissatisfied. Even when I've specifically mentioned things to do, they go undone. My last visit topped my disappointment. After describing my issue I was recommended to make an appointment and was told it would cost up to $165. After the appointment, nothing had changed and I was charged $200. My trust with this dealership was already hairy, and now it's obsolete. Moreover, I received a call afterwards asking about my service. I calmly/objectively explained the events, and I was told the manager would be informed. Great, should that actually happen, but the customer service rep was incredibly rude. BarF.

Here is my experience with Nissan of Nanaimo. I recently moved here from a different province, where I have either owned Nissan or Infiniti made vehicles, and have always taken them to the dealership because I like to know exactly what I am going to get. I decided to take my Titan to Nissan because it had a power steering hose leak which the parts guy came out and verified and told me which to part to buy. The quote I was given was $295.35 which included parts and for 1 1/2 hours of labor. I then made an appointment a week later at 9:15 am. When I went to drop my truck off that morning I was then told that it would take 2 1/2 to 3 hours. When I asked why the time doubled ( because I initially planned on waiting) I did not really get a straight answer. I waited for a bit just to see if and when my truck was going to be taken in. I stayed until 10:15 and it was still waiting outside when I left, so I am not really sure when it actually went in for service why make an appointment. I checked in throughout the day and kept being told that the truck was not ready and again no real reason was given to me that made any sense. At 3:00 pm (6 hours later) my truck was finally ready. I went to go pick it up and asked the mechanic to explain to me exactly what he had done because I was curious to what took 6 hours, as he was explaining it to me he accidently ended up leaning on the radiator hose and breaking it, which they said they would fix without any fight whatsoever I ended up having to leave my vehicle there over night. They ended up renting me a car and I left for the evening. That night my truck got broken into on the dealership lot and was told that all of my personal items were not the responsibility of the dealership and that I would have to go through insurance. I have asked for the camera footage to help with that but it was not given to me. When I spoke to constable she stated that she was also waiting for it but it was unlikely that anything would be able to be determine because of the poor quality of the footage. My truck was supposedly park right in the middle of the lot right under a camera and yet the footage was so terrible, that at the time of me talking to the constable they did not send over. Which means the security camera system doesn't actually work as a deterrent, or my truck was parked somewhere else and not on the lot. Nissan took responsibility for the window, but it was made very clear to me that they were only doing it out of the goodness of their heart, that normally the customer insurance company would have to cover the window. When I went to pick up my truck 3 days later, there was still glass still all over the inside of the vehicle, in my sons car seat and large chunks on the floor, used hand wipes in the cup holder, and the tag for the new window left in the back but I took it home and parked it just happy to have it back. I was parked for a day and I looked underneath and that same leak is still there, so I open up the hood and found that screws were not replaced, other damage underneath the hood and most importantly a bracket used for to hold the hoses dangling and bouncing off of the serpentine belt. After all of that the invoice for the work that I ended up paying was $53.58 higher than the quote that I agreed to pay, I have been refunded half of that because of the increase time of the labor

To sum it up I went in there to have a leak fixed. It is still leaking, I ended up paying more for the "service" than I was quoted, my truck got broken into while it was left on the lot where my belonging where stolen and no video footage was provided, I still am cleaning up the inside of my truck that is full of glass and garbage and its still leaking. Needless to say I will not be going back which is unfortunate because I really want a new Titan so will be heading to Duncan. I wish I would have read the reviews before.

About a month ago we drove onto the lot looking for a clean second hand car. We saw a Pathfinder that had come in on trade and the assistant manager took down all our info and said he would call the following week and we could work out a quick deal once the shop went over it.
I waited till Wednesday and he did not take my call so a message was left. Over a week and a bit passed and we drove to the lot. When the assistant manager was located he felt he had done nothing wrong and since there was nothing to report owed me no call.
Today we stopped in an spoke with a nice fellow who said the vehicle was going to wholesale.
All we wanted was a phone call and a little customer service. I have always owned Nissan and have to say I have never been treated with such disrespect.

My friend was entirely ripped off 💀 by the owner of this place Scott. He was rude, condescending and unwilling to be held accountable for the overpriced loan. He gave got them a 44,000 for a vehicle worth no more than 30,000 on a good day. And they lied and said the loan was for 31,000 when the bank called and told them it was actually got 44 000 thats a very large amount of money to steal.

Watch out these dudes live up to the dirty car sales man image to the t.

Most people who bought a car or truck from this place are not smart enough to know they have been ripped off. They work hard to get you qualified fast on loan that purposely exceeds the value of the vehicle for thousands of dollars. This is the way they work this is not a unhappy customer reveiw this is after lots of study and experience. They have been reported to the better business bureau and several other agencies and there are two active court cases against them. Do NOT fall for their antics. great place to get your car serviced and some nice staff but its absolutely thievery if you buy a vehicle here.

Just went in to grab a new wheel lug key and they only sell the key with all four new locknuts. Unfortunately the new one does not fit the old style ones I already had. But luckily for me their service is amazing and they took off all of the old ones and installed the new ones for just the price of the lug set. Great service, no other place has ever done this for me without charging extra for bring the vehicle in the shop. Big thanks to Tim at the parts counter for the great service! Made my day!

Reading all these reviews I wish I would’ve had one of those experiences .. I trusted they were giving me the best option as I hadn’t done this before and man oh man what I’ve learned I was taken for a ride !!! Now 6 months later I’m stuck with a car that I can’t do anything with!! They definitely did help us, with some atrocious offers at first. They brought us this gross Dodge truck reaking of dog and grossly stained. We only had one option when it came to what we needed to do. We didn't have the right paperwork to get our insurance afterwards. Which was extremely embarrassing. There is so much more I could tell about our experience but all you need to know if that it was the absolute worst buying experience of my life after 4 vehicles. I will never buy from them again. I received a call today, as well as numerous times over the last few weeks. about a an auto application at my job, A representative called asking if I was still interested in purchasing a car. I politely said no and tried to let him know I had found a new car. The representative continued to pressure me into purchasing a car. I finally had to ask a manager to tell the representative to stop calling for me as it was a work line. I was made very uncomfortable and will not be purchasing from here in the future.

The most incompetent dealership I’ve ever dealt with. I call to set up a time with Justin to view the car way in advance as I’m coming out of town to view it. 45 minutes before I’m supposed to view it Justin calls and says the car isn’t there so I can’t see it. Like maybe you should have checked on that earlier, tips. Then the sales manager in all his incompetent glory sounds like a broken record apologizing but does nothing to rectify the situation. I don’t know who hires these goons but somebody better rethink their hiring decisions.

Thought I would make a day of it and go see what all the fuss was about. I came on a Saturday and was immediately greeted with a representative. He asked If I had an appointment and with all the activity and people in the dealership I was starting think I should of made one! NO sooner though I was greeted by a rep and offered Pizza before sitting down at his desk. That was a first! After a little back and forth give and take I am the owner of a new 2019 Nissan pickup truck.

Been servicing my X-Trail at Nissan of Nanaimo for many years from the day I bought it there due to the great service I have been getting. This was my first Nissan product and it was super reliable up until the day I traded it in. During one of my service appointments a very nice sales person by the name of Wes offered complementary value for my car while I was waiting at my service appointment. During the review he introduced me to my new replacement. He showed me the additional safety features. As someone who is getting older I really appreciated the advantages. There was no pressure and Wes ! Who would of thought, go in for a service and leave with a new vehicle!
