Evan at Sun Valley Nissan was the staff person who helped us with choosing our Pathfinder and went over all of the features in detail. He patiently answered all of our questions, was very knowledgable, friendly, and anything he didn't know off the cuff, he looked up for us. He also did a follow up phone call and answered more questions for us - we had a lot of questions , especially about the complex technology newer vehicles come with.
All the staff at Nissan were great and knowledgable in their area. Colette the manager and Kerri the finance person, Jeremy and Kyle, and the fellow in the service department too. :)

I brought my SUV in for an interior detail after our particularly dirty winter left my vehicle very much in need. WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE! We are currently building a house nearby to Cranbrook, with intent to retire here. I say this, because the warmth/welcome/“old world” community spirit that drew us to this decision was embodied in full and more this past weekend by the Nissan dealership in Cranbrook.
Their immediate engagement, true wish to help in an absolutely bizarre mechanical situation, human caring at any lengths for a resolution left me still absolutely shell shocked. There was no “corporate” mindset or immediate turn away due to the long weekend (even the car rental companies were closed leaving us otherwise stranded). What a refreshing and heart warming experience!
Cary our service advisor (and he truly gave the ultimate service to us and truly advised us on best steps forward), welcomed us, problem solved for us making numerous phone calls; he was with us right to the end when we were able to drive away with a once again fully working vehicle.
Robson, a superhero mechanic, came in on his day off to deal with a truly bizarre situation whereby our SUV had been running 24 hours and we were unable to shut it off 😳. The incongruity of this didn’t leave him stumped vs (like Cary) energized him to find a solution. And he did. He conferred with us, troubleshooted, tinkered away (and I don’t mean that lightly) and found the issue which turned out not to be mechanical at all.
We drove away with a once again perfectly running Rogue which in 8 years has never seen a spot of an issue…
While we were there, hours, I couldn’t help but pick up the flavour of the dealership. Happy workers, team spirit, a testament to the hiring abilities of the owner and general manager.

I bought a brandnew car for them 64k, I LOVE nissan been happy with it but I also have a nissan altima that needs work. Brought it in to give them a list of stuff I needed done to it. The service advisor seemed to not listen and kept saying ( ya I have you booked) wasn't able to even explain everything else I wanted done and checked out. Then was explaining my speedo seems to be out and some random guy walked in and started drilling me on how I knew it was out and was explaining to me how they are purposely out. Then I was told it's 140/hr as a point made as if I was being questioned if I could afford the work... umm yes I'm more then willing to drop a couple grand if I need to no problem. I just shut down and called it a day. Needless to say I canceled my appointment and am going to minute muffler as they where friendly and helpful and willing to look at the issues.
Me: my Nissan Sentra broke down. It only has 90,000 km on it. What’s wrong?
Nissan: your transmission has failed and needs to be replaced.
Me: oh wow that seems strange after only 90,000 km. The drive train must still be under warranty right?
Nissan: oh that is common with these transmissions. No your warranty has expired.
Me: really? How much to fix it?
Nissan: $6600
Me: that seems unfair. Could you do it for cost or give me a deal under these circumstances?
Nissan: Marked up the replacement transmission and charged full shop labour fees.
Me: hmmm. Not sure why anyone would buy a Nissan. I never will again. I don’t know any customers that don’t expect their car to last more than 90,000 km.
Horrible service from Fred in the parts department. Ordered some window rain guards for my Nissan. 6 days later I received an email stating that my order had been suspended because my shipping address is a hotel where I have lived for 2 years for work. I have had dozens of deliveries here at the hotel but for some reason Fred said “ As it is not normally a situation that happens and the normal shipping methods do not deliver to this type of address, the order will be cancelled unless an alternative address can be provided. So I sent him an email saying I get stuff sent here all the time.. his reply was “ Hi there,
Our system flagged your order as fraud due to the address and reached out to you regarding that. We will process a refund. Sorry for your inconvenience..
I sent him a reply with my business card letting him know I was not a fraud . When i placed the order online it even asks for you VIN #. Cross reference that with the name on the order an you would see it is no fraud.
So what does Fred do? He cancels my order with a really nice Sorry for your inconvenience!
All good I called Penticton Nissan where I ALWAYS get top notch service from the Penticton Nissan Family. Thanks Penticton Nissan!! They had no issues with sending it to my LEGAL address. And I will have my parts before the amount of time it took Fred to even send his reply that we don’t ship to Hotels and it wasn’t flagged as a FRAUD by Penticton Nissans system.

I have just moved to the area and had somehow broken the axle on my Honda . I asked the few people I knew in town for a good shop to have the car towed to.out of 6 people and the tow truck driver they all told me to go to Nissan. Even with my Honda. All I can say is great service, timely repair 2 days in the shop , and a bill way cheaper than I was expecting..

I was passing by Cranbrook during a road trip with my family when my Pathfinder towing a trailed broke down. I happened to stop at the Nissan and met Sean in the service department. What a relief. He got a truck fixed the very next day. Recommended where we can camp locally and even drove out of his way to our camp site to see if we needed anything. If I ever by a NISSAN in the future, I am going straight to this dealership to by the truck because we do not have such service in the lower mainland. Thanks Sean and Wess.

Just had my first oil change here. I asked them to check my differential and transmission fluids too as I'm coming up to 100,000 km. They were honest and said they looked good despite being well over the MFR's recommended service interval. They even washed my car for me. I'll definitely be back.
They were able to fix my car (fuel pump)after it broke down on Hwy 3. I didn't have to wait too long. They were very helpful and friendly.
I never write reviews but I feel this is necessary.. After many years of service I can't believe the shoddy workmanship of the service department and the complete lack of professionalism we received when I called to complain.
I never expected that they would not call me back promptly or follow through with what they told me they were going to do. The person I spoke to was defensive, rude and actually hung up on me when I said I would not bring my vehicle in for service again.
Be warned, the price you pay for service at this dealership is very expensive. When I took my truck to a local garage and showed them the bill of $200.00 for a regular service they told me they would do the SAME service for $68.00.
Woke up to the cops at my door the following morning after looking at their car lot in search of another vehicle the previous night. Pathetic.

Just bought my 2019 Altima AWD and have to say it's an amazing car. And the folks at Sun Valley are pretty great too. They managed to get me in the car I wanted and in a way I could afford, which was definitely not one of their easier deals, but they made it work. See Jamie, Alisha and Mark for that next car. Our Nissan Titan had a breakdown late on a Friday and Dennis in service was great both understanding and professional and handled our vehicle situation start to finish making a especially rough day a little better. A shout out to all the staff we met they were all very nice and helpful. Sun Valley has earned our business.
Don’t even bother going to Nissan in Cranbrook, I was looking at trucks and was told they had some more coming in the next week. They said they would give me a call when they got here so I could take a look at them. Well it has been over 6 months from then, never got a call to even follow up. I wouldn’t bother going back to see them, clearly they aren’t interested in making a sale so I took my business elsewhere.

Purchased my Nissan vehicle here last year and generally service all of our other vehicles here. Just had my old GMC truck repaired yesterday and again, the service department went above and beyond to put my truck back on the road.
