My experience here was that the sales team are friendly enough, and as a new buyer you will be afforded a lot of pleasantries.. However, once I became a customer nobody cared to deal with any issues, even if they were caused by the staff's own errors, I was palmed off to different teams and departments within Mitsubishi. Furthermore what was discussed and what actually appeared on the paperwork are two very different things. My advice if you do choose to purchase from here, is make sure at no point you leave the dealership and come back to sign additional/different paperwork and if this is asked of you as it was of me, triple check that what was agreed/previously signed is the same as what you're being asked to sign (this is a common trick in the industry I wasn't aware of). Mitsubishi as a brand I think is great, I go to the Langley Wolfe dealership on a regular basis and they are fantastic, as for North Van, I would rather drive out an hour than deal with this place.

I began bringing my old car to North Van Mitsubishi when the dealership I purchased the vehicle from closed down. The staff at their service department are professional and care about their customers. They provide me with their honest opinion instead of pushing for unnecessary things.
When I was considering trading in my vehicle last year, their sales team provided answers to my questions/concerns.
Fast forward to last month, I finally brought my old car in for a trade in. Danny has been very helpful along the way, and patiently made sure I did not rush to a decision even when I told him I've made up my mind. Although there were some small hiccups with the special requests (I wanted my own tires put on the new car), he took the time to ensure everything is made right.

I brought my daughters Mitsubishi RVR in because it was making a lot of noise in the back. Turns out it was the differential. Thanks to the great warranty for this vehicle, and Emmanuel checking into coverage, this costly repair was covered by warranty. From start to finish...when the car was returned washed and vacuumed...the service was excellent! The parts had to be ordered in and Emmanuel kept the car, keeping in touch with regular updates. They changed my oil and 2 weeks later, the piece they pull down to get to the oil filter fell down while driving on the highway. I went in for them to put it back on and the guy was rude and said "that wasn't us, why are you going under your car yourself?" I was very appalled and it was the biggest deal to the guy to figure out what he will do to put it back on properly cause he told me it was broken. Emmanuel from Service department helped me with problems with Bluetooth calls.
The Bluetooth app has calls routed through passenger speaker and limits the volume of the call. I couldn't hear the calls using this option.
He showed me how to use Apple car play app that allows you to increase speaker volume and use navigation app.

I am sorry to read such negative reviews on North Vancouver Mitsubishi. I have dealt with this Business for more than 15 years and bought 3 vehicles from them.

The Staff has been polite and the Owner is a wonderful man.

I have had excellent service and am very happy to give them my business.

Its a shame people are fast to gripe about problems online, but forget to write positive reviews.

I too am guilty of this, so now I'm writing in defense of this dealership.

I think the negative reviews are isolated cases and on a whole North Vancouver Mitsubishi is a good business.

The most abysmal experience I've ever had in buying a car - and that says a lot.

I came in looking at a car that they had posted on CraigsList. This was clearly with a CLEAN title - that is to say it was never damaged and listed as REBUILT by ICBC.

I checked the car out - it stunk like a cat little, so I almost walked away right there, but we haggled and they agreed to get it fully cleaned, etc. I also enquired about any damage on the car - never once did anyone admit that this vehicle was damaged.

We started haggling about the purchase price (which was very low for such a car), and we eventually agreed on a price. I even put down a significant down payment. With still no word from them at all about any damage!

Only at the very last second, with me demanding that I want to see the ICBC damage report on the car - did they finally provide it. This showed 4 collisions with some being quite extensive!

I was furious, to have my time so blatantly wasted. I asked a number of direct questions as to why they didn't tell me this, if they knew about it before - and all their answers were grossly unprofessional ("we're selling this for a customer, we don't know what the history was, etc").

What really points towards them being fraudsters is the fact that after this incident - the car was re-posted on CraigsList STILL with a clean title!

Stay away from these scam artists, at all costs!

I scheduled a simple 30 minute oil change appointment over the phone. When I promptly arrived, the service advisor told me the shop was running behind schedule and said it might take an hour to finish. He did not offer a courtesy vehicle.

I decided to walk around outside, come back promptly at the 1 hour mark, and have a seat in the lounge. The service advisor saw me come in, but said absolutely nothing to me, such as if my car will be ready shortly. At this point, I decided to test his professionalism by patiently and silently waiting in the lounge until he would say anything.

After 2.5 hours after I dropped off my car, he called me over to "explain" the work order. He said there was a recall that had been fixed for free (although I never received a notice in the mail, nor did he tell me he was going to perform the recall at any point). He said my cabin air filter was extremely dirty and that it was "up to me" if I wanted a new one. Well obviously, I am breathing that air so I agreed to that. He did not care to explain any of the notes on the inspection sheet, such as my need for new wipers and tires soon.

Another 15 minutes pass and I finally receive my keys back. Back in my car, I notice that some things from my glove compartment (including a backup cellphone) were on the chair and not put back. On the bright side, I got a free carwash?

North Vancouver Mitsubishi had a great staff. They were very well up to date on the all current cars from every dealership. I told them I was interested in a new vehicle and a couple minutes later I was behind the wheel of a 2014 Outlander for a test drive. I couldn't believe how great of a vehicle it was. It handled each corner with precision and was equipped with amazing safety features (my wife loved the rearview mirror). I bought the Outlander the next day and 25,000kms later i have yet to see any issues!!!
