Originally I had stopped going here because they were pushy about additional services that were not required or recommended.

After a few years, I came back under unique circumstances and I noticed that they were no longer pushing unnecessary services. They even waived the charge ($200) for my original problem which was all labour finding the odd issue that caused the problem. Maybe management changed, but since then I've started coming back and have nothing negative to say. The prices are good, staff is nice, and no more trying to sell things that the customer does not need.

She was easy to contact and always returned my calls or e-mails in a timely fashion. When I arrived at the dealership to pick-up my new car, Tracey was more than welcoming, introduced me to other staff at the dealership, and put noticeable effort into making this a very memorable experience. Horrible service from sales. Went in to buy a suv which was on there lot for more then 90days. Not a big deal. Deal went through. I asked the sales guy before pickup if he can make sure the fluids are all topped up and battery check done since the vehicle barely started when we took it for a test drive. Long story short he said since they are losing on this deal they can’t do much more and I can’t expect a new car. Which the new car thing I did agree on as I was buying it with a few faults. We exchanged a few more texts and deal was cancelled by me as I could not believe the service I was given. All I wanted was to make sure after spending over 20k I did not have to take it home and fill up any of the fluids. Simply practice which all dealers do but not this one.

Replying to your response, in no way did I imply or even mention to change the fluids. All I DID say (which I can prove via messages) is to check and top up the fluids If needed since the car had been sitting there since January, and last inspected at that time. The minor faults that you have mentioned, I agreed to all the above in the agreement. This had nothing to do with the faults the car had. It was merely the fact that your dealership did not want to provide the courtesy of my ease of mind for this purchase.

My salesman Jake was so attentive and professional for me to decide my next ride. The whole process with him was transparent enough not to feel overwhelmed. He was able to get me the best deal on a brand new CX-5 that I bought and I didn't need to deal with the managers who will be committed to the best price when you are committed. You ask and he sure will go out of his way to deliver what he promises. Finance manager Eric was also a top notch on what he is doing. No one at the dealership was pushy to sell me something I don't need. Mazda is really underrated brand and make sure you check out this dealership to find out if I am right about it.

Brought my Mazda 3 2015 in yesterday for an appointment as my center display is not working anymore. The day before I had explained the issue over the phone I was told it was one of two things. Either needed to be rebooted for $69.99 or needed a part replaced which would be covered under warranty. I asked for clarification that the only money I would be spending would be $69.99 and was told yes.
So I went in and was instead told that I needed to pay $139.99 just to look at my car and that no my car was not covered under warranty because it was a 2015. But they knew the year of my car when I phoned and still told me it would be covered under warranty. Then I am told that I need a part replaced and this will cost me $1500. I was lied to and felt completely scammed by Mazda.
Then my mom, who has a Mazda 3 2016, called and was told this problem was a common defect in the 2015 and 2016 models and can expect to also pay this $1500. Customer service offered no help.
So clearly Mazda does not care about you or the integrity of their cars, they just want to scam you for whatever money they can get out of you.
My family has bought numerous Mazdas but will never buy one again and do not recommend anyone to ever buy a Mazda.

I have been taking 3 vehicles here over the years and I have never left unhappy or disappointed until recently, when I've noticed that their quality of work has been on a steady decline. Most recently, they sent me an appointment reminder for the wrong day. I thought I had just wrote the date wrong, so I rearranged work to be able to take my car in the next day. Once I brought my car in, they told me that their reminder was actually wrong and the original appointment I thought I had, was correct. Once the service was done, I picked my car up and immediately saw that the back side of my car was damaged. When I asked the service staff what happened, they said they would have the Service Manager, Ed Kong, contact me asap to sort out. Nobody called me back. I tried calling the next business day, left a voicemail and still never heard back from anyone. So, I went in person. Ed showed me a video to "prove" the damage was pre-existing but the damaged corner of my car was not within camera view. However, I was advised that if I wanted to see the video from the correct angle to conclusively rule out their error, I would need to pay $150 to see the video. To me, this undeniably proves their guilt and yet they are doing nothing to fix this. I would never recommend this service department to anyone and have advised my in-laws (who I had referred to Freeway Mazda) to look for a vehicle elsewhere. What a shame, these guys used to be great.

Ed called me back with the video angle I had requested to see. After watching the video, I was able to clearly see the dealership was not the one to damage my car and Ed apologized for how the situation was handled. Even though the damage was not caused by the dealership, he has offered to get it fixed, and that is extremely appreciated. We will move forward from this and I hope to have some more positive experiences here again.

Don't waste your time here!! If I could give a zero I would!

This is my third and last Mazda. My window wiper motor stopped working a 52k km, how does a motor go bad with such little use. After they Service fixed it they said it do was wouldthe linkage and not the motor, so how did the diagnose the issue?

They would do nothing for me and manager actually hinted that I rolled back my odometer. Also told me they are not really Mazda, they me are not a Mazda dealer just a franchise so they don't have to work with me. Charged $300 for a motor and for that lost a good customer.

This is the worst customer service I have ever seen!!

Talked to Mazda head office and according to them each franchise are able to make exceptions if car is out of warranty...

The deal was done over the phone. Jake helped my friend out from the beginning to the very end. He was thorough in his work. Shared all the details i asked from him and stuck to the budget we asked for.
He did not upsell anything to us considering my friend's budget. One one the reason i chose freeway mazda over Kamloops mazda was the customer service I received from Jake and his team.

Overall, appreciated Darren's follow through on servicing my Mazda that was covered under warranty. I understand that internal warranty programs aren't the most fun to deal with for service centers. Service depts will always be a dealerships cash cow, but sometimes it's just a little frustrating when you get mixed qualities of service (professionalism) and information from different service advisors and then having to confront or advocate for what you should be receiving. In the end, you will get service that will give you peace of mind when you leave here.

I decided to drop by here today to car shop as my husband and I both needed a new car. We both knew what we wanted but wanted to discuss the steps of trading in our cars and the cost of the new ones. We were introduced to Tracey, who unfortunately I found condescending with a lot of attitude, unknowledgeable, and genuinely disinterested. I had to leave abruptly due to an emergency but would have gladly come back if the service was better. I thanked her for her time and was given an off putting response as I left. Freeway Mazda calls me, saying they were interested in getting me into a new CX-5. And wanted to have a look at mine to see what they can do. Even stated that my payments could possibly even lower. Have to say, I was somewhat curious & interested. So they made an appointment for me ( stated- this way, they’ll have someone ready to help me out. ). They even went as far as sending texts and an emails to reminding me.....texts were multiple....So 12:15 was my appointment, I arrived 12:10 .....only to be told they were extremely busy and that I’d have to wait. Have to say, I was put off to say the least. So I kindly told them I could not & would not wait because I did have an appointment made by them!! I honestly feel if you can make an appointment you need to HONOUR the appointment. Yes who hasn’t waited in a doctors or dentists office ....but this whole event was created by the Dealership!! If they were serious & professional about customer service relations then they should practice it. I’m not gonna go as far as stating DO NOT GO TO FREEWAY MAZDA!!! But I will say that I WONT BE GOING TO FREEWAY MAZDA.

My experience purchasing my new vehicle at Freeway Mazda was all positive. The staff were friendly and helpful. If they didn't know the answer to a question I asked, they would find out and get back to me within a reasonable time frame. The sales person I dealt with was not high pressure, yet they made me feel like a valued customer and were willing to go above and beyond to secure my business. One thing I really liked was that when I initially went in to test drive the vehicle I was interested in, the sales person I originally dealt with allowed my dad and I to take the car out on our own, which no other dealership I went to did.

I recently had my first interaction with the Service Department at Freeway after the purchase of my vehicle. Although they weren't able to fix the issue I was in for right then and there, they seemed, for the most part, to be willing to troubleshoot and re-scheduled an appointment for me to come back.

I absolutely love my new car and I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle.

My best experience at a car dealership ever. I actually had a bad experience at another car dealership before arriving at Freeway Mazda. We were helped shortly after arriving there. The sales person greeted us with courtesy and and it really felt like he genuinely wanted to help. Even after spending half a day there discussing the final price, he was very calm and continued to try to help us out.

The finance department is in a league of its own. The finance manager was extremely helpful and even going out of his way to do something I never thought anyone would do. I felt that the people at Freeway Mazda had your best interest at heart.

Just purchased a brand new Mazda Sport GX from this dealership and I am in love with it! SO much fun to drive and the fuel economy is awesome! Previously had a 2011 Toyota Corolla that was totalled in an accident. Some friends recommended I check out the Mazda 3. Ended up at this dealership initially as I wanted to look at a used one they had on the lot. Wasn't sold on that vehicle, but met Brandon that day at the dealership and felt comfortable with him right away. Friendly, relatable and no pressure sales approach led me to come back on my own two days later and test drive a new model. Once you drive the car it speaks for itself! Brandon was great at communicating with us throughout the process which was timely. All the staff we met at the dealership - Sales Manager Emmanuel and Finance Manager Dante were also fabulous to deal with. Brandon took the time to go through the car inside out with me and followed-up with me after purchase. I have nothing negative to say about this experience and would not hesitate to recommend both Brandon and Freeway Mazda if you are in the market for a vehicle.

After a terrible experience at the Langley Mazda dealership, I emailed Freeway Mazda to buy my 2015 CX5. I was contacted immediately by Harv and arranged a telephone meeting within the hour. He was extremely happy and helpful and was able to have the car, colour, trim and accessories available and installed, ready for me to pick up when i was in Surrey, 5 days later. I was all so easy, i was worried right up until I drove off the lot what any hiccups would be. There were none. We was not pushy in anyway, he just wanted to make sure i was happy.
