Seems like it has a great deal make a deal for a car, get the bank draft cut, everything signed and completed so you think. DON'T GO HERE SCAM ALERT.

Oh 1 More thing you owe us several hundred dollars for things you never asked for or agreed to or you can't drive the car off the lot.

Just to clarify and to pre-empt there rebuttal, Yes I know the vehicle needs plates to leave the lot. I have plates with valid stickers off my old car.

I called in before picking up the car and asked about plates, I was going to bring mine, was told by the sales representative that no worries already taken care of and no mention of fee's.

Getting plates with year stickers slapping them on the car not telling me about the fee when I NEVER ASKING OR GETTING A YES FROM ME. Then telling me we never disclose the plate fee and trying to buy off my very justified anger at the ambush sales with a oil change.

That's just awesome so you will screw over every customer and try to hush it up with a f-ing oil change. Avoid Plaza Kia and do not deal with Dustin
Or especially with Allan Riahi business manager who is especially noxious and pushy, sign sign sign before giving you a chance to read properly.

Be warned if you do go Triple check everything, I will never be back and would not recommend this dealership to anybody as far as I'm concerned avoid like the plague.

(/Sarcasm) GREAT customer service (/Sarcasm) with ambush sales that would make you wasted hours or multiple trip back and forth to fix the issue if you don't take and thanks for OVERCHARGING for a service I never asked for or wanted.

Update:
So Owner responds on reviews to do a charge back on the plate and leave just the cost of the stickers WHICH I DIDN"T NEED/STILL DON"T NEED I had valid plates and stickers. Licencing the car is $39 +IF you NEED THEM Plates and Sticker. Which apparently you have to pay afterward and never be told about ( before they spring it on you) but it doesn't come out of the 499 administration fee OR the so call 399 Mandatory Plaza protection

From phone call, to several emails, to the final closing of the sale, everything was meticulously executed. Without this new dealership and sales rep (A.) I am writing this review it let all of you know how I made my purchase with plaza Kia.

We showed up to the dealership and spoke with Carl, I test drove the car and at the end we negotiated the deal with him and it was all smooth going. However the issues started with Allan, the finance manager, he recommend I take the anti corrosion module and I agreed To take the extended the protection as I agreed Canadians winters are harsh on cars and rust is a big issue. So all good, this was on Monday. Carl then let me know the car will be ready on Thursday so I was happy. Showing up Thursday was a big disappointment, as when taking a look at the car, the panoramic roof cover was not working, to make matters worse, upon checking the engine bay, a relay was hanging pathetically. Clearly it wasn’t clipped properly, then the “ corrosion module” wasn’t even installed !!! Something I paid extra for wasn’t in installed and they claimed the car was ready for pickup. The owners manual was in French and all that combined was a big upset. Pointing it out to, Carl he quickly took the car into the service shop and they quietly installed the module as if it was there the entire time, don’t know who they were trying to fool. Carl told me to bring the car in the next week to fix the panoramic shade. Ok I said, but what really made me lose my cool is that I found a tool in the engine bay couple days later that was easily capable of falling in the front fan and damaging everything. When I brought the car in for the sunroof repair I spoke to Adam and he gave me a loaner car for the day. When I finally came to get my car near the end of the day he said “ I’ll email you what I could do to make it up to you”. Very polite way of saying have a nice day you won’t hear from me. Of course I didn’t get any email and it’s been almost a week. Issue after issue with them and no communication. I wouldn’t suggest dealing with this place. I’m so frustrated and mad, this is just ridiculous. Think twice about going here and the moment it seems fishy, it probably is.
And just to let you know my car was a demo with about 8k km on it, but that shouldn’t be an excuse for things not working in the car.

I brought a car for a service since I had some knocking sound coming from the front-left wheel and was told a stabilizer link needs to be replaced. Got an estimate to which I agreed and was told I will get a call when the part arrives. Two weeks passed and I've got no call so I called again talked to somebody from Service and was told I will get a call in a few days. And again nobody called back. So I've tried again but the same scenario repeated itself. I told myself I'm not going to beg them to take my money and let it be. As the fate would have it when the time came to get a new car I found a good deal at this exact dealership. While getting the new car I mentioned this issue with nobody caring about the service and said I hoped this will not happen with the new car. I've got reassured this won't happen again and they will even talk about this with the owner and I might get a call from him. Guess what. Yes you are right again nobody called. Now let's get to the present. A heated seat on the passenger side stopped working properly in the new car. So I took it to a service and was told that even though the electrical values are showing correct numbers they will replace the heating pad just to be sure but they need to order the part and I will get a call when it arrives in the next week. Nobody called for three weeks so I called them. Service person said they are sorry but the pad is not there but it will surely arrive next week and they will call me when it comes. That was FOUR weeks ago. So I really don't know if it is something about me that screams I want to be ignored or this place has no care for a customer unless they are buying a car or if it is their system the is not working for the last two years. Anyway my recommendation is obviously to stay away from this place because clients are not valued there and promises and guarantees mean nothing to them.

I've been leasing cars for a few years now from different dealerships, but I've just had the worst experience at Plaza Kia. After spending 1 hour on Saturday and 2 hours today with lots of back and fourth between the manager Dustin Stein, we finally came to a deal for a black Soul with 24000 km and extended warranty, even though we really wanted the white vehicle. But we compromised to make the deal and for all parties to be happy. Once we completed everything, they took down a deposited and off to the finance managers office we went. This was the turning point where all of the promises made by Dustin and negotiation started to reverse starting with the warranty. After already being disappointed about the colour, as it apparently was a more expensive one, then came the removal of the full extended warranty, initially used as a selling feature to close the deal, and how that is not really included and it's an extra $800. Then came the KM being lowered on the paperwork down to 20,000km from the 24,000k that we agreed on. Then came the price increase of 4$ per month because they did not even have the black car that they were negotiating pricing with and only had a white one for $4 more per month. This followed by Dustin asking me to leave because they wanted to go home and did not want to make a deal as they were losing a "$1000" on this deal. Not sure if this is a sales tactic, bad manors, or just bad service, but continuous lies just to make a sale is not only morally and ethically wrong, but just bad business. The business is ran by a couple of kids whose dad gave them jobs and don't now the first thing about customer service (again, their reviews speak for themselves) If you're thinking of dealing with this dealership, save your self the time and money and go to a dealership that treats you with dignity and doesn't try to make a buck through dishonest sales tactics.

I went to another dealership where they were I got treated with respect, they were more than happy to make a sale, and not only did they provide me with the white Kia Soul, which apparently has a higher price tag, gave me the offer that I wanted that Plaza Kia was loosing "$1000" on according to Dustin Stein, but also provided in a year of free oil change as a curtesy of how we were treated at Plaza Kia. Not only did they lose my sale and loyalty, but I hope that this post helps others from making a mistake of dealing with this dealership. The only positive person at this dealership was the sales rep Carl who unfortunately lost a sale due to greedy management.

Sales agents at this dealership blatantly lie and are unapologetic. Be diligent. If you still want a Kia car, avoid this place.

My friend and I visited this dealership because my friend wanted to test drive the Kia Stinger.

The sales agent claimed that clients could not test drive the Stinger, "the car of the year" without first purchasing the vehicle.

The agent claimed that it was a Kia-wide policy implemented by headquarters and that it makes sense not to let clients test drive the car without first purchasing it, as that would mean the vehicle would "get bad mileage" and "clients would not want to buy it."

The agent claimed that a lot of luxury brands follow the same policy, so when my friend who drives an Audi replied, "oh, but when I went to get my Audi, I was able to test drive it on the day I went."

That's when the agent started to stammer and argue against my friend claiming, "I never said Audi does it too. Mercedes-Benz does it. Mercedes has the same policy. The Stinger is the car of the year, so everyone wants to test drive it when they're not going to buy it. So we cannot let clients test drive it."

A minute after walking out of the dealership, we called the Kia dealership close by and asked, "do I need to buy the Stinger before I can test drive it?" To which the agent replied, "what? No, of course not. That's the whole point of test drives. You can come at any time and test drive it."

We confirmed there is no Kia-wide policy mandated by headquarters that the sales agent claimed. Then my friend went into the dealership, and confronted the sales agent, citing what the other dealership confirmed. The sales agent remained quiet without saying a single thing, and let four colleagues rush to his defense claiming my friend and I must have misunderstood, that it's "common practice to purchase it and then give it a test drive when it arrives" and that to test drive the Stinger clients have to "book an appointment" and that we can "make an appointment to test drive the car anytime." Two managers offered to book a test drive appointment, to which my friend replied, "I spoke with the Markham branch, and they told me I could walk in any time to test drive it."

My friend and I understand that we were profiled and denied the opportunity to test drive and ultimately purchase vehicles from Kia. It does not feel good to be blatantly lied to and not receive a formal apology.

Went in to get a single tire changed which took a week. The staff rely on lies, avoidance, and generally dishonesty. Staff were rude and didn't think it was weird that it took a week to change a tire. Really? Left a message to Adam Stein (the owner) no reply.

Dealt with the owners son (Robert Stein) directly. He lied to me too saying he'd knock off some money off the bill. When i paid the bill and asked where the discount was, Robert Stein shrugged his shoulders. Left another message listing all the particulars and he didn't bother to reply.

Reply: Sorry, I didn’t plan to have a flat on the Saturday of a long weekend. My ultimate concern is that you lie to customers and don’t follow through on commitments. That’s all. Good luck.

Once my lease is done you can guarantee I will NOT BE BUYING/LEASING ANOTHER CAR WITH PLAZA KIA AGAIN or KIA period!
You don’t know how “great” a company is until there is a problem, unfortunately I had to learn the hard way. PLAZA KIA installed a DEFECTIVE windshield wiper on my car (a wiper that has since been recalled brand is Valeo), that has scratched the whole passenger side window, and the roof of my car so badly that it's now rusting. I honestly didn’t realize this was happening (or could happen!) as the wipers were put on my car during the winter time and because of all the snow and dirt I did not notice what was happening until it started making a weird noise, upon inspecting my wipers I noticed that the wire in the wipers came all the way out and that was what was making the clinking sound on my roof. It wasn’t till I got my car cleaned that I noticed how bad of a damage it was. I went to KIA they said they’d put in a claim, they didn’t even call me to tell me what the claim said I had to call them. Of course, the response was there’s nothing we can do and its not covered under your warranty. SO your telling me that after you were soooo quick to change my wipers (I didn’t even request for the wipers to be changed it was part of their recommendation upon going in for MY routine servicing) and take my money, it is now my responsibility to pay for YOUR MISTAKE? I’m utterly confused and extremely upset. If this is how KIA handles THEIR MISTAKES I don’t want to continue being their client, because what if that was a defective tire? Something that could have caused an even more dangerous situation. Not impressed with this outcome at all!

Plaza Kia was good. The staff was very friendly, if I brought something to their attention they would fix it right away and make sure that I was happy. It was quick to get oil, engine filter, and cabin air filter aswell. Less than an 1hr. Only reason why I would not give it 5 stars is that the guest waiting room/lounge seems bit dated. The lights were bit dim and the washrooms were bit dirty but it was end of the day at 6 o'clock so I understand the cleaness but I think little remodeling would do the job like their stylish cars. BTW there is a WORKING popcorn maker with popcorn in it!

If I could give a higher rating I would! Leadership starts from the top and Adam Stein (Fixed Operations Manager) is phenomenal with his customer service. Danielle in the service department is also excellent. I have never had an issue getting an appointment when needed. I urge those that have never had a good experience with buying a car or from a service department, go in and talk to them. They are changing the industry! Great job Adam and the team at Plaza Kia.

Stay away from them. They show no shame on lying. Also beware of method of payment because when it comes to refund, they will NEVER give you even a cent for refund. Just go through the review list and u will see. Use credit card as payment to protect you because you can get your money back through credit card service. They gave me the feeling that they will never put any effort on something financially unproductive to them such as refund. Of course, the best way to protect you is to STAY AWAY FROM THEM!
