Charging over MSRP for a carnival ($16,000) says so much about the business. Don’t get taken advantage of and find another dealership, there’s only 3 other kia dealerships in the general area.

After many weeks of looking we finally stumbled across a low mileage reasonably priced, but older, Kia Soul at Turpin Kia. This was a fresh trade so it took another week before we could pick it up while Turpin's techs completed the required maintenance and ensured it was roadworthy. We had a little delivery hiccup with a part that was delayed (supply chain!) but only picked up a couple of days late. There was supposed to be a set of winter tires on rims with the vehicle which I wanted to store at home...these couldn't be found, but Turpin offered to deliver them to our home in Ottawa once they located them in storage, so all good.
A few days after we got it home, the derecho hit and coincidentally the cabin blower failed...so no AC, defogging, heat, etc. I wasn't too happy, but it was an older car. Emailed Turpin and the owner emailed back and offered to make things right. Took a little time for the parts to come in (supply chain!!) but they got us back on the road - no charge! I was expecting to pay for parts at least, but this was a pleasant surprise, especially after having to replace the AC compressor and condenser on our other vehicle the day before.
Point is, no one should expect a car purchase to go perfect, but no other dealer I've bought from went out of their way to help sort out and fix things like Turpin did. Thank you!
We had dealt with Andrea got very good service and also help set up a couple of items in the car would go back for another vehicle at a later date.

My experience with Turpin Kia in Carleton Place is the most rewarding experience I ever had. Allow me to start from beginning: I got into a bad car accident in early June, and my car was deemed as a write off. With all my busy work schedule, I rented a car that was covered by the insurance. Me and my uncle went off to a journey looking for a new car. We went to Honda, Hyundai, Ford, Mazda’s, and finally Kia. I am in love with Kia Soul, and went to the Kia dealership on Hunt club. Then my nightmare begins (I will write a review for the Kia Hunt Club on their website about what’s happened as well). After a horrible horrible experience with the Kia Hunt Club, we decided to look somewhere else. That’s when we came across Turpin Kia. I am glad that I decided to give it a try. This is the best choice I ever make. When we called to book appointment, the staff that answered the phone is very nice and very polite. And when we arrived at the dealership, Andrea was standing outside greeting us. She even got the latest Kia Soul model ready for us to test drive. We told her that we know what we want, so we are going to skip the test drive part and go straight ahead to talk about the price of the car. We told her the number we want, after 15 mins she came out with the manager and offered an amazing deal. On the same day, we signed the bill of sale and the manager, Andre, made a phone call to order my new 2022 Kia Soul Lunar Orange right away, and even gave me exactly date for pick up. During the process of signing the bill of sale, he kept it very simple and easy. Without a doubt, Andre has a lot of knowledge about the cars. Andre and Andrea are very professional, honest, patience, and show empathy for what’s happened to us. The date for picking the new car was pushed back due to covid. I was very nervous because my insurance won’t cover my rental car anymore, and I paid out of my pocket too much for my rental car. Without a word Andre told us to come in, and allow us to rent a 2021 brand NEW Kia Forte for only 200$ and we can keep using it until the our new car arrive. I mean this is above and beyond what I expected from the dealership. On the day to pick up the new car, it was clean and filled up with full tank of gas ready to go. Mike is amazing in walk us through all the features of the car. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to potential buyers.

Absolutely amazing service from Mike and Andre! My mother was in search of a new car, I called, made an appointment and they were fast and efficient and NO bs! Mike went above and beyond what he needed to do to ensure my mom had everything she needed. Her new to her 2016 Forte was in impeccable shape. I'm happy knowing she's now driving a safe vehicle that will last her years to come and she's happy with the price and service! I'll be recommending them to everyone I know who's searching for a new car. Again, Mike did WAY more then any sales person would do and he was HONEST and not money hungry like you find in the city. 100/10 service.

Turpin far exceeded all of them. Mike was a terrific sales person with good knowledge of the vehicle with a no BS attitude. Andre made the financing part of the purchase a breeze. All in all I would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a Kia. I picked up my vehicle and it was in great condition, no scratches and very clean! I got the 2021 Kia Soul GT and it is a dream come true!

We just purchased our second vehicle from Turpin Kia. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and provide great customer service. They made the purchase process easy! We are very happy with our two Kias.
I called Carleton Place Kia, and spoke to a salesman. I told the salesman what I was looking for - he said they did not have them on the lot (they have been there before). I told him I am very interested in the vehicle, he then asked me if i've ever drove one or seen one. I said I hadn't drove one yet, and asked if he could get one in. I told him i'm not wasting his time. He then told me he wasn't going to get the vehicle in and so therefore I wont be wasting his time. I went to Hunt Club Kia the next day and bought the Kia Stinger (this dealership also told me if Turpin Kia would have called them they could have brought the vehicle down to Carleton Place). I guess when you're a girl you aren't taken seriously. One less sale for you, Turpin Kia.

Service Manager, Terry, spent time in the rain to explain the reasons for the problems with my car in detail. Problems that were the fault of another used car dealership. He gave me enough info to deal with the situation intelligently. This kind of service is almost unheard of these days. No wonder they are one of the top dealers around. Kudos

I've been taking my Forte in for regular service since it was purchased in 2018 and will never take it anywhere else! Sometimes it's difficult to find service providers who don't try and push for purchase of other things while you're there but the Turpin team makes it easy and you can count on service being done the right way. We traveled from Perth to Carleton Place to this dealership because we were helped by a friendly young gentleman who works in their service department when we broke down along side of the road (not a Kia) near Stanleyville, and he did not want anything in return for his help. As we were in the market for a new vehicle, his kindness drew us to visit them first.
On our visit, it was clear that it was part of their culture to hire people like the service technician as their business model is to treat customers right in order to foster a loyal base who will bring their vehicles in for service and to repeat business when it's time to purchase another vehicle.
All the staff was friendly and the experience was pleasant. I've never been so relaxed through the process of buying a car before. And I am very happy with the 2016 Kia Sorento we purchased!

I recently just purchased a vehicle on hunt club rd in Ottawa and the service has been absolutely terrible there ! I was told by the dealership in Ottawa that my car was found in Perth so I called Kia Perth ont and they did not know anything about a trade to my dealership. Kia Perth went way out of their way to help me figure out if the dealership I purchased from did in fact secure my car with someone by running the VIN for me .
The service that these guys did for me is incredible!!
