Bought 3 cars from them over the last year for the wife and family. Trent my salesperson was very easy to work with and treated us right. Marcin immediately took care of an issue we had with one of them ( window didn't work) and Ivan in the service dept. where I had some work done was very knowledgeable and helpful. Cassidee (our salesperson) at Sherwood Kia was absolutely incredible to work with on our Stinger. Attentive, engaged, respectful, and possibly one of the most pleasant people I’ve ever dealt with. The sales manager Kim was terrific as well. She greeted us as if we were family. Everyone else we dealt with trough the process were fabulous as well. Obviously putting a customer first is in their DNA. It’s more than what they do, it’s who they are through and through. And more than that you can feel it. It’s genuine. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Looking for a KIA, you don’t need to look anywhere else. It’s too bad I’m limited to 5 stars... if I could, I’d give them 10. We were searching for a new SUV, and wanted to try out all the new models, finally ended up purchasing a Kia Sportage. Our experience with dealership was great. Al always provided all the information and test drives in a timely manner, always had the vehicle warmed up and ready for us upon arrival. Kim the manager is great always putting the needs of the customers first, really felt comfortable dealing there, and Tanya in the service department has been great with follow up.
I have been a regular customer for 6 years now, bought 2 cars from this place. I would say service has gone down in the past 2 years and every visit is getting worse. Spend your money somewhere else if you want a reliable and trouble free experience.

Purchasing a new vehicle can be a frustrating task. We want to spend our money wisely, be safe, have all the luxuries and do not want to invest too much time into our research. I have shopped at Kia Sherwood Park for one new and two used vehicles over the years. .
The salesperson Al has went beyond my expectations each time to satisfy my vehicle needs, preferences, budget and was mindful of my time and frustrations. I would recommend saving yourself a lot of time/ grief and pay Al a visit on your next vehicle purchase- he actually listens to you.
Service is great. Meaghan the service advisor got me in quick when I had a dead battery in a cold snap.
Also the sales people are NOT pushy like other places. Will probably buy another Kia in the next year (will be 4th one).
We were very pleased with the way we were greeted the minute we walked into the dealership by Sam who asked if there was anything he could help us with. He showed us several vehicle options and once we made up our mind on the Kia Forte 5 he walked us thru the features and all the technology before we drove it away which can be very overwhelming. He also took the time to give us a follow up call the following day to see if we had any questions and how we were enjoying the vehicle so far. He also said if we ever have any questions to not hesitate to contact him and he will help us. Very impressed overall and would highly recommend anyone to check them out when looking for a vehicle.
My Soul has been serviced by this dealership since I bought it in 2010 and, as usual, my latest service has been very good. The staff have always been knowledgeable and pleasant to interact with. In this last situation, Valerie, the adviser who looked after booking my appointment and dealing with me on my arrival was no exception. Baring unforeseen circumstances, I'll be back in the spring to swap tires again.
I have been on the hunt for a mini van for a few months. Been to multiple dealerships throughout Edmonton. Sherwood Kia was the first dealership that actually cared about me. They listened to what I wanted and needed, I walked away with an amazing deal on a mini van and they also didn't low ball me on my trade in as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will sure be going back to them in the future.
If you go check them out make sure to talk to Mike, he is a straight shooter and didn't try to up sale me at all. If it wasn't for him I would be for sure still looking for a mini van. Also, the sale manager was great to work with, he actually worked with me instead of trying to strong arm me into a deal like the other dealerships. Alex in financing made the process super easy and fast. Everyone got in contact with us about a week after to see if everything was good and to let us know we can contact them at anytime if any issues arise; again I really nice touch compared to other dealerships with have dealt with in the past.
Again I high recommend them to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle!
Friendly and fully explaining all the work that had to be done. Our steering is still a little tight but improved from before. We have been invited back with a test drive with the mechanic. Will follow-up in a week or so.
This was my first time at Sherwood Kia as I had moved to Sherwood Park and wanted to find a service center closer to home. Was very impressed by the help from my initial phone call with Brandy and then in person and Megan has been very helpful in helping me meet my needs with my car servicing. When we purchased our 2020 Kia Soul, Last month, the experience was good. It wasn’t until a few weeks after the fact when we noticed that the bank did not take their payment from our account. We spoke with the dealership on this matter, only to find out that they told us our financing had been cancelled.
We found this as a shock since all the documents were signed and we were approved fully at 0.99% financing. We took delivery of the car, and the car is currently in our possession, but when we approached Sherwood Kia on the matter, they told us at the bank had made an error. We took it upon ourselves to investigate the matter further and confirmed that the error was not done with the bank but with the in-house financing at Kia Sherwood Park.
Upon confronting Kia Sherwoodpark, they denied it and took no blame and instead blamed us for something that we definitely did not do. Credibility with this dealership at this point, had gone in the toilet.
My husband and I have been loyal Kia drivers since 2014, and have loved their vehicles ever since. But when he was in the market for a new Kia as well, they attached my name with my husbands file without my consent and did not inform me until I found out myself. They used my information that I gave them for my car 2020 Kia Soul at the time. I found this to be a Breach of Trust!
We escalated our concern to the head office in Toronto, only to find out that they did not get back to us nor were they interested in resolving the matter. How could such a reputable dealership as large as Kia is, avoid such a matter such as this.
Since the Dealership nor the head office in Toronto did not help resolve our matter, we decided to take matters in our own hands and higher a lawyer to resolve this for us.
A very unfortunate experience no doubt, but if I could help anyone out there who may be dealing with this dealership anytime in the near future, I hope this helps.
I purchased a vehicle on past Saturday from Kia Sherwood and all the staff there was wonderful and very nice to work with especially John Hammond , He was not pushy at all and that’s what made my mind up a lot easier. As my back ground is sales and he was fantastic. Also the Financial guy wrapped it all up and made it a pleasure to shop at Kia Sherwood. The only issue I had during the process was when I had to deal with the other manager and being told he would not of done the deal not a style I like dealing with I could of had the same deal from 2 other dealers but came to Sherwood Kia because of how easy it was dealing with to. So thank you.
Went in for an oil change and Maintenance 2 and they discovered my front springs were cracked and didn’t recommend that I drive the vehicle until it was fixed. Decided to fix the car but it was Saturday afternoon and needed to figure out a vehicle for going to work until it was fixed. Tanya would try to have it fixed by Tuesday because they were really busy in the shop. To my delight, Tanya was able to get one of the technicians to work longer on Saturday to work on my vehicle and he finished it Monday morning. These two went above and beyond my expectations and am so appreciative of their kindness. Picking my vehicle up after work was a delight. Thank you Tanya and the unknown technician for making my day! You’re the best!!!
Needed a level three service. Took vehicle in at 12:45. Later that afternoon advisor called and advised they were behind schedule and asked if they could keep the vehicle overnight and offered to pay for a rental vehicle. As I have another vehicle I saw no problems. By mid morning the vehicle was ready. It had been all checked over. Then came the shocker!!! The vehicle needs over $3800 more work. This is a 2008 that was purchased used for $8000. Is it worth this investment? It needs fluids that need to be changed ,which is ok. What really bothered me was replacing the timing belt for over $600.It doesn't have the mileage but is 4 years since I last replaced it. Can't believe timing belts need to be replaced simply because of age. Doubt if I have more than 30000 km since I last replaced it.
John and Alex were very understanding and offered us the best deal they could, we believe. Thank you very much. However, the process to go through the finance department needs improvement. Oh, the lady was very charming, courteous and all, but it took over 40 minutes before we could see her at Finance and there was no one in front of us! Besides that, we do enjoy our new Kia Niro, thanks to Alex and John.
I just got a new 2017 Kia Soul, at Kia Sherwood Park, I had truly amazing, awesome people that help me out. I cant say enough good things by the staff members Kiat, Scott, Savanna and Kim. They truly make you feel apart of there work family, and care about you and what you want. I loved my experience and the way they took care of me and my family. Our Kia is a manual transmission which did not come with Air Conditioning because it was a base model. We needed the A/C and we really wanted this vehicle. Kim who is the manager was relentless to ensure our new vehicle would have A/C. Against almost impossible odds, she found after market A/C and had it installed in our vehicle as perfectly as if it came off the line with it.
Kim was told by her many associates that it “can’t be done”… However… She “FOUND THE UNICORN”!!!
