I dealt with Rick and Sharon when I went there to buy Kia Sedona. Both were amazing and really nice people. We were very careful with our purchase and didnt want to make an impulsive decision with our car but Sharon and Rick both were very kind and completly understood our situation. Although we ended up not buying the car for now but I will gladly go there again in future when we need to make a purchase down the road.

We recently purchased a 2020 Kia Sorento SX. The sales part was extremely quick and efficient. I dealt with Blair and he was wonderful.
After we took the car home, I had a few issues and was initially frustrated with the percieved lack of communication from the staff. I left a mildly abrasive Google review, and after the responses I got from Rodger (service manager), and Darren, I feel like it was unfair.
He seriously went above and beyond to get my car fixed, and stayed in contact with me the whole time they had it in their care (two days). He arranged for a loaner, and if he felt frustrated or annoyed with me he didn't let on at all.
I had initially felt some pretty intense buyers remorse when my engine was overheating when I'd only put 1700 km on it, and my PPF had a lot of bubbling. This was my first Kia and I was terrified that I'd gotten a lemon. In reality, it was just a faulty part from the manufacturer and a lack of clear communication from all sides (I'm definitely at fault here too!).

I have been looking at buying a new car for a while now and decided to take the trip to Straightline Kia. Best decision I have made in a long time. We had the pleasure of being greeted by a very nice young lady at the reception desk. Having someone professional at the desk, which is your first point of contact is key and she did a great job.
We then were greeted by Danny Deng. I was not really familiar with Kia products, so when Danny asked what I was looking for he knew right away 2 options that might be of interest. I ended up taking the Forte GT hatchback for a test drive and I LOVED it. It has some really excellent features that were not offered in other brands of cars I had looked at as well. Once we had ironed out the finer details when buying a car we were in introduced to Thomas Powell who was very professional.

They had been contacting me to come in and see what they could do for us. I had a Soul looking to trade. They had boxing day sales, and the sales person told us that they had some great deals happening.
I absolutely LOVED my Soul, but was looking to trade in , and purchase something hopefully with a better payment. It turned out a new Soul would have lowered my payments significantly, which is great! However when it came to trade in, the amount they offered me was disappointing. I had a special edition luxury package, but that seemed to make no difference to the trade in offer.
We decided to think about it, left the dealership, and went into a nearby Nissan dealership. The Nissan dealership offered us $2500 dollars more for our trade in. $2500!!!! They also had the exact same boxing day deals on.
We have owned 4 Kias, and would have kept going with them, but have now purchased a Nissan, which I love.
When I let the sales person at Kia know we weren't coming back, he answered my email defending their trade in offer, not knowing that I had already gotten a much better trade in offer from across the street.
I'm sure they will respond to this review defending their offer, but you can't really defend offering $2500 less than a non Kia dealership for a trade in.
Straightline Kia was great to deal with when we purchased our new vehicle. Eric was very knowledgeable and helpful, and he made the process very easy and seamless. Throughout the process, Ricky the general sales manager popped in a few times to speak with us and he assured us that his team would take good care of us – and he was right! Darren Beagle gave me a good explanation and offers to help me to choose this vehicle. Never have I been disappointed in five years here. My customer service expectations exceeded really nailing it out of the park every time kudos to everyone there they are just killing it. No part of our experience was good... They seemed great upon our initial impression, but by the time we finally recieved our vehicle (a full week after our contract said we would) I can not point to a single thing that they told us initially that was true in the end... By the time all was said and done we regretted choosing this dealership.
Brought my vehicle in here this week due to a starting issue that ended up being due to a key/fob problem. Mid week when towed there I was made aware they wereparticular busy at the time and that I might have to wait till Saturday for repairs. We have a Kia Soul but have rarely brought it into the dealership for work. I was very pleasantly surprised with the level of care that went it the customer service provided throughout the process. Particularly when I spoke with the parts manager Warren who was to do the repair. I had called late on the friday after work to see the status, after being told it was likely to be done the next day, I got lucky and he was nearby and ended up taking the call. He made a point to get it done before going home so that I would have my vehicle for the weekend. Not only that but once I arrived everything was ready to go and even came in at a decently lower price then I had expected.
Can't think of a time I left a business feeling like more of a VIP then I did that day. Very personal and knowledgeable, Warren showed a caring attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile for a customer.

From the time you walk in the door to you leave all you see is happy staff wanting to help in anyway they can. The staff go over and above to meet your needs and ensure you get the vehicle of your dreams. Now to make the experience even better you get to sit down with BrendaLee Doel (what a treat) I could have stayed all night and done paper work with her. She is kind, funny and professional. Went in to browse and when compared to other dealerships in the area was rather underwhelmed. Sales floor was crowded with too many vehicles and desks, plus it was rather dirty. Doesn't feel like a dealership, more like a Canadian Tire. Staff were yelling at each other across the floor and lot. Vehicle we were shown outside was absolutely filthy with dust, and it hasn't rained in a while.
Salesperson was unwilling to negotiate on even basic add-ons to encourage a sale. It's a shame because the vehicles were actually quite nice and prices fairly, but I wouldn't do my business here and have serious questions about Kia if this is an acceptable standard for them.

Everyone there is so lovely. Love the FD lady "Sandra" who always looks so happy and willing to help, and the sales associates are very educated on all cars which is always reassuring.

This dealership is the best in customer service from the receptionist Sandra all the way throughout the dealership. They will help you in anyway they can and even offer coffee and snacks and make you feel at home. I love dealing with people who prove they care about the service they give everyday.

Chris is the Service department is a great guy, and everyone else I’ve dealt with in Service have been personable and helpful. We own a Kia and so use the dealership for our regular service and have had positive interactions every time. The sign of a good service department (in my opinion) is one where people stick around and have longevity.
Had my fuel tank fixed there, they were able to locate the part l needed for much cheaper than anyone else, and installed it quickly right before a long weekend. Customer service was friendly and welcoming. I will be back for all my car needs!
Overall my new car purchase from Straightline was very good. It was all a bit of a whirlwind, actually, but that’s another story. I found Tanner the salesman helpful both prior to negotiations and since delivery. Management was helpful and reasonable too - informative and not in the least pushy - a real pet peeve of mine. In general the slightly rushed delivery has been well and truly made up for by the service I’ve received since.
Very fast oil change. I had few questions regards out of province inspection and got all them answered promptly.
I had issues with my wheel bearings, and a leaking oil pan. Chris managed to squeeze me in and fixed the problem on the same day! Thanks to the warranty, it cost me a fraction of the cost. Chris managed all the paperwork, and made sure I didn't get overcharged.
Weeks later I met Warren. He's THE man! Hooked me up with brand new RTX wheels and summer tires, for an AWESOME price! I cannot stress enough what a great deal Warren gave me!
Unfortunately, one of the wheels was missing a weight, which cause some shaking. I was back a couple of days later, and Warren & his team fixed the problem within a few hours. I got dropped off and picked up by the Kia shuttle service and it did not cost me a cent! (the balancing issue).
If you are thinking of upgrading or replacing your parts, buying new tires, wheels, and more, talk to Warren! You won't regret it! 👍👍
A really great experience overall buying our gently used Kia Sportage at Straightline Kia at the end of March 2017. Joe (our sales guy) had fantastic product knowledge, and understood what we were looking for on this particular trip for a "new" vehicle. Very good coordination between sales and finance related inquiries. Always responsive when we had questions. Certainly can recommend this dealership!
Dropped my car off for service with a cracked mirror casing. When I picked my car up, the mirror casing was gone completely. They didn't tell me it had happened, like they thought I wouldn't notice that a part of my car had gone missing. When I complained, the manager said it wasn't their fault and refused to reimburse me in any amount or replace the part.
There are a few Kia dealerships in Calgary, this one has the lowest rating for a reason. South Trail Kia's management actually responds to customer complaints and tries to make things better. Kia City doesn't because they don't care at all about customer service. Save yourself a headache and go to a different dealership.
Been servicing my Kia Sedona at Kia CIty for 6 years. Have had no issues and pricing seems fair. I recently priced replacing my air filter myself, Kia City installed one for less that I could buying it. Compared to another dealership I go to I find Kia City does not nickel and dime me, and a pleasant experience. Brandon is service orientated
Just bought a used F-150 from these guys and I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful service we recieved. My boyfriend and I have both dealt with dealerships in the past for service and purchasing and have always left disapointed and with a bad taste in our mouths. Every one we dealt with here was extremely friendly and professional, from our salesman (so sorry don't remember your name) to the finance lady, and sales manager. It had a small town service kind of feel. We were treated great when we came in to look at vehicles, during the test drive, and purchasing. When my truck started having some electrical issues we went in to speak with them and again were delighted with the service we recieved when we were told to take it into a ford shop and they would take care of the bill. It truly felt like they cared about us having a good experience and having my truck all good and ready for me to enjoy! Thank you and we will be happy to do business with you all in the future :)
I just purchased a car from Kia City. The sales, service and finance departments were all extraordinary. My salesman (Jon Stephenson) and the sales manager (Paul Lawrence) were top notch to deal with. They were not aggressive and pushy like other dealerships I have dealt with. They were straight shooters and no BS. They gave me the numbers and time to think about it. Not the typical slap a pen in your hand and have you sign. Kudos to them for making the car purchasing process more enjoyable. I for sure will be back.
Love Kia City! I bought my first Kia at Kia City about 9 years ago and have bought Kia's there ever since (two are sitting in the driveway right now). I am extremely impressed with both the look and performance of the car, and the service I receive at the dealership. The service staff go out of their way to accommodate my needs. On top of that they seem to really know there stuff and I trust their recommendations and work 100%. I am willing to drive the 45 minutes it takes for me to get to Kia City for servicing because of this. I think that speaks for itself!
