Carlton Honda did not bother to call for the payout amount of our previous car loan, we offered several times to call to get the amount left owing on our vehicle, but he told us that we didn't have to and that it was okay (we were under the impression he would call himself) instead of calling he just decided to guess how much was owing.
A couple weeks later we had my new vehicle and previous vehicle loan come out at the same time. (I pay montly so it was quite a substantial amount all at once). I called my previous VW loan to see why another payment came out and they said that they received the cheque Carlton Honda had sent but it was not enough to cover what was left owing because a payout quote on how much was actually owing was never requested.
Later we went in and spoke to the general manager and he was honestly one of the most ignorant people I have ever met. He was belittling us and making us feel as if we were in the wrong and that they did nothing wrong.
Hondas are great vehicles but I would 100% recommend people making the drive to saskatoon and avoiding Carlton Honda.
(The only positive thing was our salesman Sheldon was very good)

On a recent Camping trip from Saskatoon to Prince Albert National Park while towing our R-POD 20 ft. trailer our Honda Pilot "Transmission Fluid too Hot" warning Light came on just shy of the Park. We pulled over immediately and let the vehicle cool off and took it easy to the Park. We called Carlton Honda first thing the next morning and the Service Manager was very understanding and arranged an appointment for later in the morning. The Service manager, Just Halcro, was amazing. She and her staff did a thorough inspection not just of our transmission and also serviced our Pilot. We were on our way in just over an hour.
The customer Service we received was outstanding . I have been a Honda Client for many years and would Recommend Carlton Honda.

I had an unfortunate post-purchase experience buying a used Odyssey from Carlton. First off, I do want to thank Jason for his work as the salesperson. He was flexible and personable. On the other hand, Steve Jeffers, the manager, has been unpleasant, rude, and, now, unresponsive.
The inspection records that they provided me with for the van were inaccurate. I don't know if they ignored issues or missed them, but the front struts, which the inspection indicated were good, needed to be immediately replaced. I did notice the noise during the test drive, but ignored (assuming it was just due to being parked for an extended period of time). The noise never went away, so I took the van to a local garage in Saskatoon, and they immediately identified that the struts were binding. I brought this information to Steve, and he called me on the phone to intimidate me and tell me that 1) the garage in Saskatoon was "fishing for labour", and 2) that binding strut mounts are nothing to worry about. This is a family vehicle, so I am not comfortable with binding struts and the potential safety issues. Since September 2021, Steve has ignored my follow-up emails.
Luckily, I was able to get the struts replaced elsewhere for a reasonable price, but it added close to $1000 of out-of-pocket cost and hassle to what I was expecting to be a seamless purchasing experience from a reputable dealer.
If buying used from Carlton, I would suggest getting a third-party inspection. Although, I am not sure if Steve would believe or act on the results of it. He has been anything but helpful to me and my family.
Worst dealership in Prince Albert! DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE IN FOR SERVICE. They are not capable to do a simple oil change without screwing it up and trying to blame it on the costumers! I also called Honda Canada about this! This dealership does NOT deserve to have the name Honda on his doors! Honda stands for quality vehicles! But this dealership is far away from any quality work!
My new car was froze solid especially my battery. Had my car towed to Carlton Honda. Dale did a follow up from the weekend and got me in for 2. Very helpful and informative, even the receptionist was helpful I am so happy that my day got better with these people at Carlton Honda. Thank you
I recently purchased a well-priced used CRV from Carlton Honda and I’m very impressed with the service that came along with it! Both Steve (GM) and Jeremy was great at responding to my questions, being transparent with the car history and it’s features. They were not super pushy unlike other places especially in Saskatoon that I can’t take a moment to digest the information first without pushing for a sale. Jeremy was awesome to deal with in person when going through the car. I felt comfortable the way they provided me information and let me absorb it when trying to make a big purchase. I would definitely make the drive out again to Carlton Honda!

Jason with sales helped me out buying a new machine. They order in parts also but don't have a wide range of stock so order as early as you can. My new rubicon was priced fair. It did have some electrical issues but it seems to be sorted.

First things first, my drive out to Prince albert to buy my 2015 Honda Cr-V was worth it. Jeremy was great to deal with and it felt like a family atmosphere inside. Jeremy and Josh looked after me great in going over details and it didn't matter if I wasn't sure about anything they both guided me to understand the vehicle and the business side of things respectively. Thank you for looking after me and will definately be dealing with this dealership for many years to come. Will never forget it. Best Honda dealership near or far to go to in Saskatchewan hands down!

Terrible customer service. Sales representative aren’t there to sell you a vehicle. They are very unprofessional, rude. Arrogant, does not know how to negotiate with a customer. I have been there 2 times, dealt with two different employees and both times very disappointing response. Learnt my lesson and advise you to go to another dealership if you need Honda product but don’t go to Carlton Honda.

bought a used 2011 honda CRV (in 2020) and there were some issues with it that couldnt have been seen by their normal inspections. I had some issues and the service team, Jaycee, Dale, and Jeremy went over and above whats expected and made sure I was happy with my purchase.
They invited me back to the dealership and continuously worked with me to get my car running the way it should, even on a used vehicle.
Id recommend car shopping here to anyone. Loved the whole experience.
The sales team was great. The service department, and manager Dale, were not only unprofessional, they were dictionary definition of ignorant : 'lacking knowledge or awareness in general' instead of listening to us explain what we use the generator for, Dale took it upon himself to Google our lodge and tell us we shouldn't use this unit to power our whole camp.... No doubt Dale 2800w is less than 15kw... So the long and short of my experience is I've wasted 18 hours going back and forth (and 430L of fuel) for a generator that wasn't fixed to get called a liar by the service manager. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't have 10 months to fix it correctly. After 3hrs of running LED light bulbs (3) in a cabin, it has the same issue I took it back for. Thanks Dale, and Carlton Honda for the worst service I've ever had.

It's a pleasure to walk in to a dealership where you are quickly acknowledged. The staff are knowledgeable and actually listen to you. It is also nice to be in a store where vehicles and recreational vehicles are in one location.
We have purchased many vehicles from Steve and his team. The service here is second to none. I was fortunate enough to get my Honda Civic Type-R from here. Steve worked very hard to get me this very rare car. Sheldon was very knowledgeable and he was able to answer all my questions about the car. We live in Regina and I can say that it is definitely worth the drive to buy your car from this dealership!! I definitely recommend this place.
Although I do not own a Honda, I do go to Carton Honda for all of the service on my 2006 Chevrolet. Dale and the guys at the service desk are always so helpful and friendly. The quality of the work that the mechanics perform there is top notch. I have been getting my car serviced at Carton Honda for several years now and the one thing I really appreciate is that they give me good, honest advice. They take the time to explain what is wrong and have told me a few times that repairs were not necessary or recommended a less expensive option. I think Carlton Honda is a great choice for service on any vehicle.

Meh. Not a life changing experience
Brought my car here and they told me the transmission was shot, brought it back on a separate occasion and they told me the fly wheel and pressure plates on the clutch were done, but they said the transmission was fine, they want to charge me $2500 to fix just the clutch even though they told me the transmission also needed to be replaced but they won't tell me that again.
We didn't buy a vehicle here but when we visited the salesman was really knowledgeable, a straight talker, and gave good advice.
Horrible customer service. never take your vehicle here for insurance work. I called in a couple times to check on whether or not the vehicle was done, and spoke with a new person each time, who had no idea what was happening to my vehicle. But the worst of all was the manager was extremely rude once it was finished and made me pay out of pocket because he didnt want do his side of dealing with the insurance company to get the money from them. I will never recommend this place to anyone.
