We leased a car for a five-year term and we had multiple problems throughout the process. There were multiple mistakes made on your part of which no one there would take responsibility for and I only received a rude unprofessional service with the exception of one sales person who did his best but was powerless to do what was right. I will not recommend anybody to your dealership because of the lack of integrity in the way you conduct business.

Don't ever come close to this place. They give the worst customer service and kept giving conflicting information. Everytime I called and talked to someone, I was always given different information on the vehicle I purchased. I tried to avoid going for any service but there's something that is unavoidable. To keep it short, it was a long and frustrating transaction. I would not even recommend this place to my worst enemy

I bought a 2014 Honda Civic from this dealership. According to their promise, they were supposed to give me 4 summer tires and 4 winter tires, but unfortunately they gave me both summer tires, and worse, both tires were used a lot and I had to buy new winter tires and also new summer tires . The next problem was that the size of the cast iron rim they put on the car was different from the original size of the car and I had to buy 4 cast iron rims as well.

If there was a rating below one star i would have gave it to this dealership because this was the worst client experience i ever had
So i needed to buy a used car since i lost my old one in an accident the sales representative Aline was very welcoming at the begining and convinced me to not go to another dealer since they will give me a good offer there so i chose the car we discussed the price and everything was ok for a honda crv 2016 they gave me an appointment next week to come pick it up and because by then i will be in my home in another city that is 2hours half away by bus i had to be absent from my work for the whole day to make it happen
I had to take 1 bus then 2 diffrent subway lines then another bus them i met my spouse who had to leave early from work also to take me to this appointment
Once there they make me sign the contract right away once finished the surprise is they tell me they didn't find the second key for the car. And that they will only give me one key i was in choc because this is not what they told me since the begining
So i asked why they didnt inform me about this? I got no answer
Asked them to make the second key for me ?
The sales rep had to escalate to her manager
Who came back to me after almost an hour of wait and in the waiting place in front of everyone he snapped at me and my spouse when i told him that they were not honest with us when the sales rep told me at the begining that they have both keys and today they're telling me they only have one the manager cut me and became very aggressive and was like if you want to pay the key price is $260plus taxe i have reduced it for you or i will cancel your transaction
I told him im not gonna pay for a key that you guys dont have
So he left ruduly saying to the rep ok cancel cancel
I never imagined that a manager can act like this with his client
This is shameful
Zero professionalism
No honesty
What a waste of time money and energy
I will not recommand this place to anyone
And i will escalate this complaint further
I don't appreciate the way you treated me and my spouse
I dont appreciate the fact you were not honest about the key and the manager who didnt even try to fix this problem and doesnt even know how to talk to his clients

I was dealing with Clarissa Javia for 7 - 10 days or so. I was enquiring about a 2015 Golf TDI with the rare manual transmission. There was only 1 generic picture posted on-line. I asked to see other pictures of the car. E-mail responses were slow but eventually the associate responds with you can schedule an appointment to view the vehicle. With other vehicle purchases in the past the sales associate has offered and taken pictures of the vehicle for me to see before I journey to see it in person.

I respond that I am out of town in Ottawa and would not be willing to travel 2 hours each way to see this vehicle. Show me pictures and I will decide if I wish to see it in person. In a way to motivate the associate I told her I would forget about this one and look for another whereby she responds with; OK and have a good day.

There is zero interest in helping me out and trying to make a sale. These manual TDIs are rare and I would travel to Montreal to see it, of course. The total lack of customer care is evident and I will not deal with Hamel Honda and their non caring sales associates who DO NOT wish to make a sale.

Just bought a 2016 Honda Civic from this first class dealership. I’m so impressed with the level of detail they give to their Certified vehicles. Mine came with new brakes, Rotors and Pads because they were below 60%.
New wiper blades and cabin filter.
What dealer does that for their customers?
Their prices are the best around.
I shopped for weeks and saw many cars.
Hamel Honda had nothing but amazing cars on their lot. Make the trip and see for yourself. 😎

Not a good experience with Hamel Honda...I see a complete lack of communication between the dealership staff.. Relevant information are not communicated inter departments..Finance team does not know what sales team has offered and delivery team doesn't know what finance team has committed..If you ask them a question, they ask you to visit counter to counter rather providing one point solution to the costomer... They made an error in registering my vehicle...they also have false information on installment of anti theft tag..I also took the matter up with them regarding some sign of rust, engraving and welding on one of the vehicle part for which they are very slow on response..the good experience I just had when I booked my car with them vanished with delivery and after sales experience..the person who delivered the vehicle was more interested in getting the papers signed rather treating customers with utmost respect, I felt he was in a hurry to go for his break.. no time given even to even read the contact.. I sent this feedback to all the top officials of this dealership and to Honda Canada and I am still waiting to hear back from them..

had a recall from Honda canada for my CRv 2008 . it did not pass the tests,
what a shock. ( the crv would NOT go back on road ) the service person took over the situation - a new car was prepared for me and i meet MR Vincent Lachapelle (General Manager ). He sat me down and explained the options I had. i was told to take my time, they would cover the charges for a car until i decide what i would do.a very nice person.
back that nite to Hamel Honda meet Alexandre Savard ( used car Sales)
tested drove a 2011 CRV and i was sold. Alexandre gave us a VIP treatment and service.picked up th car ( cleaned and spotless ) again treated like a VIP. the hold team at Hamel Honda are all so nice.

Great service when you are there looking to purchase a car (mine was used). Once the down payment was made they treat you like garbage. No call back when looking to speak to someone - takes over a day and ended up having to ask to speak to the Director of service before I got anywhere. I found multiple problems over the month I've had the car - busted speaker in the door, wipers not working properly, broken molding below windshield. (I accept that I should have found these before buying the car) - however, I recently went for a drive in the rain - I found out my car has an electrical problem. Headlight goes out only when it rains (short somewhere?). Feels like they knew it was a problem and hid it. Was told that even though I took the extended warranty that it's not covered and to take it to my local garage. It won't be a Honda garage - that's for sure.

I would strongly recommend you use another car dealer.

This is for "Carrxpert Carrosserie Hamel....Bad workmanship...No attention to detail...Had a hatch done (rust) under warranty, they misplaced a WHITE gasket on a BLACK panel..NO ONE NOTICED it sticking out. Had to return it to be repaired properly. Then ONE YEAR LATER the same panel rusted again. They re did the job and put a clear plastic between parts saying they could not guarantee the job with out it. If the manufacturer did not see a need for it, then I would guess they did not do a proper job or did something wrong when reinstalling the parts. It was placed, sticking out about 1/4 all around and looked like it was cut by a 5 year old. Along with that, the paint this time around has defects. Also, the "lettering" and badge were placed wrong.
ONCE AGAIN, had to send it back along WITH PICTURES of where the lettering should be with measurements. They returned the truck and it shows the plastic was cut with a knife (hopefully not into the paint...can't tell) but they STILL managed to screw up the lettering, even with the measurements and pic. VERY INCOMPETENT. Would not surprise me that to make the fast $$$ they put apprentices on what they deem "takes too much time".
