Extremely outrageous behaviour by salesman. After our negotiation failed, I left for home and suddenly got a call from him. He offered me a reduced price on the condition that I return to the showroom within an hour as his offer was apparently valid only until the next one hour!!!! I sensed that he was probably insecure to lose a deal and Itried to assure him that I will come back next day. But then he told me rudely to not bother to come back again to showroom if I cannot make it within the said time! Is this how Honda conducts business? I am surprised that such tactless salesman work for such a reputed brand.
Hopefully he will treat customers with respect, consideration and politeness in the future but he definitely spoilt my first experience with this brand.

We didn't know what to expect when we went to Downtown Honda, but were pleasantly surprised. Nathaniel took us for a test drive. He was knowledgeable, but did not talk down to us and answered our questions, without hesitation. After discovering Unhaggle, we were directed to Alan. They say timing is everything and although he was busy, he made sure we were looked after. For our purchase, we dealt with Simon who helped us through sorting out what we need in a vehicle. When we finally made the purchase, Yida explained what I needed to know about our new Honda CRV EX. I felt overwhelmed, but she patiently worked with me until I felt confident enough to drive it home.
Downtown Honda made purchasing a new car a pleasant experience with their wonderful sales team.

I purchased my very first car (CR-V) from Rob Patterson on New Year's Eve. Of all the Honda dealerships that my family and I visited, this was the best service we received. Upon arrival, Rob was very welcoming and offered my father and I coffee and tea. He disclosed every detail to us up front and sure enough, the car was in pristine condition!

I've been an infrequent driver for a long time, and Rob was very patient and understanding with my test drive. He made sure I was absolutely comfortable with the car before making my purchase. Started out as a satisfactory experience - test drove a car, negotiated with the salesman and agreed on a price after he gained approval from his manager. After shaking hands and going to fill out the paperwork, the manager notified me that the car was sold despite agreeing on a lower price to the salesman I was negotiating with. Not only did they sell the car moments before I came to a deal, but the manager was extremely rude and condescending in the way he told me and my family that the car was sold. No apology, no courtesy whatsoever. I've been car hunting for a while and have never been treated that way before, just terrible customer service from the manager.

I've been here a handful of times. First to test drive a car, then to buy my car and a few times for service.

Daniel was the one who assisted me first. He was very informative, answered all of my questions and wasn't pushy at all.

I test drove some other cars and wasn't to do some research on my own before deciding which car to buy. I had decided I wanted a Honda and went back to test drive the car again. This time Daniel was busy, but he had one of his colleagues assist me so I didn't have to wait. Again, I was happy with his colleague who answered all of my questions and wasn't pushy.

The manager came over both times I went to make sure everything was fine, and helped complete the sale. The district manager was even there the day I bought the car and asked how things were.

I am quite inquisitive and every time I had a question or concern someone was able to help me. I bought my car at the end of the season, and my first choice was blue. I also wanted the windows tinted. I needed the car by a certain date, and they said that they wouldn't be able to tint the windows in time so that I'd have to bring it back after my trip. When I came to pick my car up before my trip, I was surprised to see the windows already tinted! They made it happen.

I have taken my car in for service a few times. The customer service had been fantastic. I bought winter tires from them. I called around to compare prices, and Honda's were pretty close so I just went with them. They also price match. After one service appointment, I noticed that my screen had a cosmetic scratch. I didn't know how or when it got there. Honda replaced it for free.

They also have a pick-up/drop-off service when you are having work done on your car. They have always been on time and accommodating.

We bought a used van here and we have mix feelings about our experience. We have waited for an hour to talk to a sales rep even though we booked an appointment days before. Since we have waited, our sales rep Robert helped us to get a little bit discount on the vehicle. He is very nice and not pushy at all. We made the deal and he agreed that they will fix a long scratch on the driver side sliding door that goes all the way to the quarter panel. Viqas from financing was very friendly and helpful and did a great job on setting up monthly payments for us. However, when I picked up the vehicle I noticed that they did a terrible job touching up the scratch. It seems that the scratch is deep and they should have just re-painted both panels instead of just a sloppy touch up job. I guess the service dept. don’t want to do that since that would cost extra money from them. I also noticed that there are new scratches on the front bumper that weren’t there before. I showed it to Robert and he told me that I could bring it back so they can fix it, but I did not bother since I know what kind of job they did on the sliding door and quarter panel. I took it to a body shop which cost me extra $$$$ to repaint those panels (front bumper, sliding door & quarter panel). Also, the refund for my deposit took 2 weeks before it got credited back on my credit card. Not a big deal but shouldn’t be that long.

I had a horrible experience with downtown Honda. I bought a car and they didn't have it in stock. Getting any information from my salesperson was not easy and I finally had to contact the manager after 2 weeks to get some information. When I was told they didn't have the car I asked for my $1000 deposit back that was put on my visa. I said I wanted it back today but was told it may not happen today. I then said if I didn't I want to be paid interest. The Manager Anthony LAUGHED AT ME! I told him I was glad he found this funny but I did not. The entire experience was stressful and then to be laughed at was too much. So much for professionalism. Go somewhere else where they value their customers.

Worst experience, I have taken my car up there. Made me to wait for Quick Check on car for at least 1 and half hour, Then their answer was like this. You have made damage for yourself - Head to Body shop. Like just go away we don't care if its problem done by you. There are some people in Canada having first car like me and never know what to do next if they have some issue. Guys please mention the issue what you found clearly to the costumers as we are freaking paying 30000$ easily for any car which we buy. We deserve some Answer, In case If I want to fix I can fix right away but the service center people didn't help me stating clearly what's wrong and how to proceed. Another day, they made a call in my busy schedule for a FEED BACK just to waste my time again. I need to mention whole thing to them from check in to check out. End of the day answer would be Call to your Insurance and fix it. I can fix without going to insurance but I need assurance for the thing which went wrong. I know dealer doesn't care for the damage done by owner. But he deserves a answer !!!

I was lead to a sales consultant named Qi Zhang, he really did his homework on the cars displayed. As I walked through the dealership I was informed about every car I was interested in (which was a lot of them!), I was given all the features of the car, got to sit in it and was taken on a test drive. I was not being pushed to buy but instead informed about the car which made me feel comfortable. By the end of my time there I ended up buying the 2014 CRV which I love!!! We are picking up our 2014 Odyssey tomorrow from Downtown Honda. We choose Downtown based on the customer service. John Gamal, Sales Manager responded to an e-mail inquiry on a Sunday. We visited the dealership on Monday where we also met Alan Shepherd. There was a willingness to work with us on price and we didn't feel the high pressure tactics that we experienced from other dealerships. John gave us time. We made the deal on Wednesday and feel like we got a fair price. It was a pleasure to deal with John and Alan on this purchase!
