Winter is coming, and I needed a new generator to replace a very loud and clackity one that annoyed my friendly neighbours. What a racket! I checked Honda's website and checked through their lineup of quiet generators. I called the store and spoke to Cam who took the time with me to explain the many financing options available to me. I had already made up my mind about the extended warranty and Cam confirmed all the details of the three year plan. That is 6 years of warranty!!

This was not just a generator, it was an investment. This unit alleviates so much of my anxiety worrying about whether I will be able to use my CPAP machine or whether the inverter will shut down because the solar can't keep up to the demand for power. This is knowing that if it is super cold and there is a power outage, I can run heaters without any worry.

Cam rushed in my application so I had an opportunity to wander around the store checking out the shiny new Hondas in the showroom. The staff were all so nice and friendly. The front desk staff member had an amazing genuine smile and was so helpful. She let me use her computer so I could print off a page on her printer. Such a dear!

In less than an hour I had my new generator in my car and I enjoyed my whole experience!!

I give Hanover Honda 5 stars because they deserve it.

Living 5 hours away from Hanover I had talked with Steve (sales) expressed interest on a used car with Steve providing me with the information on the car as he sent through text, advised I would purchase the car however I would have to drive there to bring my plates and pay for the car, however I would want to leave with the car on the same day I did advise him I would be there before noon ( the car was already in the shop and had been serviced and was certified ) Steve advised they normally don’t licence the car the same day it is sold. I advised this would be a 10 hour trip without stops and I would not want to return in a couple of days to pick the car up, we even discussed where the bank was as I would go there to get the bank draft to purchase the car. Steve advised he would discuss with the General Manager to see if they could accommodate my request and call me back. I received a text late the next day telling me they had many calls and people expressing interest on the car and sold it the that day, no call to this writer to even see if we could work on a different pick up schedule.
It was made clear this salesman and dealership pride themselves locally as I was told many times however do not appear interested in people from outside of the area. Poor business practice.

But, dealing with the auto shop desk associates is extremely frustrating and insulting because are so unprofessional.

I had paint fall off and it was covered under warranty. When I went into honda about this, I was treated like the bad guy and was given a hard time after having confirmation it was covered. Then when I had a honda key break, I had to buy a new one and get it reprogram. After my key was reprogram I asked. "So my wife key will work also?" I was told no and should of had her key also. No one told me this and I was NOT ASKED if 'all keys' were here when I came in for my appointment.

Honda tried to bill me for doing the re-programing two times. I said no way am I paying for for this reprogramming twice!

The shop manager tried to tell me it was my fault for not knowing I needed to bring all keys.

I've stopped taking my car to Hanover Honda for only one reason. Very unprofessional auto desk customer service!

I will come here to buy and I wont say a bad word on the mechanic's. But I wont deal with the auto desk associates again.

Getting the Honda was a breeze and a wonderful experience. The after market service....not.

All I wanted to do was switch the account our payment was drawn from. I work rotating shifts, so my sleep is very important to me. So, I goto their website, and on the contact portion (the only place where you can send any info via the net) which they label as booking an appointment, I state my request.

1st time was early Jan, 2nd was end of Jan, 3rd was early Feb. At this point I can't believe they wouldn't even send an email. It was the simplest of things!

Finally, fed up I called when I had absolutely no other option. The guy tells me I have to call the bank that Hanover Honda financed it with. Fine! He gives me the number....it's a fax number!!!! Come on!!!!! Seriously?!?!

6 weeks without a contact, and 2 and 1/2 hours later, I have the situation solved to my satisfaction.

They will bend over backwards to sell you a car. But getting an email or an accurate phone number....

I had an AMAZING experience at Hanover Honda! I purchased a new HSS928CTD snow blower from this dealer. Their customer service is outstanding!

My experience was so great that I drove 2 hours one-way / 4 hours return-trip to make my purchase. Tanya at reception is very friendly and polite. Dave the Sales Manager is an awesome guy. He responded to my email inquiries within minutes. That’s how you get deals done! Price was obviously a factor as well, and of course their pricing was more than fair.

More shops should aspire to have the same high standards as this place. I will be recommending friends and family to visit Hanover Honda for their Power Equipment needs. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

This experience was not good. With the Pandemic, it was difficult times and emotions can run high. But, it was no excuse for a Honda employee to hang up the phone on a good customer. I will no longer have my vehicle serviced at Hanover Honda.

I would not suggest this dealer to anyone for a preowned vehicle especially if they are selling a car lower than the market price. Beware buyers!

Awesome service there! Called in Thursday (day before) to see what their schedule was like to get my winter tires done (I was concerned about long wait as I had to do some driving next week to Hamilton and back), Kaitlyn told me she could squeeze me in tomorrow (Friday/Today) at 3:30. Due to my work schedule being 12-830pm I asked to drop it off earlier, not only did they get it done almost right away, she dropped my keys off at work so I could grab the car later and they nicely bagged them and stacked them in my backseat. Might not sound amazing to everyone but for a first time car owner and only my second winter, I thought it was wonderful! Thank you guys so much, you made my life so stress free.

I had some issues on my car that needed to be dealt with, so i called in requesting some help, but don't expect the Honda service advisor Steven to be of any help he is completely arrogant, rude and confrontational with customers when they have legitimate concerns. I can see why he is rude and confrontational because he lacks knowledge and experience with cars even though he claims to have worked at Honda for over a decade. The dealership service is alright, but if you get Steven ask for a different advisor as he's useless.

I really like my car and have never had any breakdowns because of the excellent service. I also like the mileage I get from driving my Civic. Larry and Rob sold me a beautiful new 2009 Civic in November of 2008- and I couldn't be happier! The car has over 160,000km and still runs as well as the day I bought it. They've never hesitated to offer free advice or answer any questions I've had, and I would not hesitate to buy my next Honda from them.
