The lack of communications between staff makes the process of getting the most simple things done SO COMPLICATED. I had taken my car in for a check engine light problem and was promised a free diagnoses the second time bringing it in, both ladies at the front desk argued with me and belittled me to try to make me feel like I was lying about it, the manager came out and said it was all covered JUST AS IT WAS ORGINALLY and the ladies didn't even apologize to me after being wrong, the mechanic and manager were helpful, but the ladies at the front desk who are supposed to HELP people could at least act/try like they know how to do their job
We went to see a used vehicle.A 2017 Ridgeline that seemed to suit our needs. Jason the sales associate met with us and explained the features of the vehicle. We were impressed with the cleanliness and the service record. After a test drive we decided to go ahead with the purchase. A compete safety check needs to be done before we can complte the sale. I came in for an appointment scheduled at 8:30am to get a recalled airbag replaced in my car. I had gotten the same airbag replaced at Bannister for a previous recall within the last couple of years, and that took no more than 40 minutes. So I came in for my 8:30 appointment and sat down and got up an hour later and my car still hasn't moved from where I parked it. I went up to the service desk and waited in front of it but wasn't even acknowledged until I had to walk up to the desk and say hi. The rep said that my car wouldn't be much longer at all, I asked how long, she said another 45 minutes? And my car hadn't even been taken into the shop yet. So my car didn't end up getting taken into the shop until an hour after my scheduled appointment, I was stuck waiting for two hours because I assumed it would be quick like the last time, and ended up missing one of my university lectures because of it with no apologies from the staff for the long wait or any explanation as to what the delay was
People were friendly with good service. very willing to answer questions as well as extremely helpful.
I do not recommend this dealership if you are a woman. They have berating and bullying language towards women, and it’s inappropriate and uncomfortable. They gaslight, antagonize, and belittle clients. Am shocked they are fine with sales management speaking to clients in that manner. If you don’t want to be disrespected or have your wife disrespected, then don’t go to this dealership.

WOW! What an incredible experience at Bannister Honda. Went 'window shopping' for a new vehicle and came home with a dream car. The salesman (Thank-You, Jason), the sales manager (Don), the finance team (Udai & Shaye) were all helpful, cheerful and just plain great people to deal with. Came home with a hybrid that 'glides' along the highway & is a very comfortable ride with lots of buttons & toys for my husband to learn/push.,

I took my vehicle in to have some recall work completed and went for a test drive on a new vehicle. While the salesman, Jason, was a pleasure to speak with, very knowledgeable and low pressure, I was disappointed with the service department.
When I booked the appointment I was told that my vehicle would be detailed and it would take approximately 45 minutes longer then just having the recall work done. I was pleased to accept the offer. Imagine my surprise to find that they only washed the exterior of the vehicle. While the detailing was a free offer I feel that it should have been done as offered. I wonder if it had been a newer, flashier vehicle would it have been detailed as promised?
What a team you have working here! Thank you so much to Jason for constantly being in touch with me, even when he was not working, and Udai who worked hard making sure me owning a new Honda Civic became a reality. Although we did find the car we were looking for at Bannister Honda recently, we did experience excellent service from sales representative Jason Tissington and former sales representative Gene Kushniruk. Their understanding of the product was excellent and I was very pleased how well they listened to my questions and my expectations for a newer used vehicle. It was unfortunate that the model I was looking for just doesn’t last long on this lot. I am confident that my positive experience with this dealership is a reflection of the strong Honda team. Awesome group of people at Vernon Honda. Haven't seen my car salesperson in a year and soon as I walk in he knows me by name. Service department is always prompt and kind. I apologize for telling the service girl that I had paid $46.00 last time for oil change as my records show last Sept. paying $78.00 total.
It was up to $84.00 yesterday and was early doing it because we are doing a short road trip and didn't need a bunch of things checked or tires rotated, etc.
I was disappointed that there was no wash or vacuum done as we used to always get that.
I'm sure the oil change was fine, however, I still feel that's expensive for just changing the oil. Nothing else was required for service as I told the attendant..

Update: I just had another service appointment and while there are so many new faces to get to know everyone was friendly and accommodating. Was great to be fit in so quickly to be in conjunction with an appointment I already had scheduled in Vernon.
Excellent customer service and very knowledgable service department. The only disappointment was that the vehicle wasn't washed and vacuumed after being repaired. I guess I was spoiled at my last dealership. Either way, they got the important stuff right. Skilled service and great communication.
Brought my truck in for repairs @ the body shop. Very happy with the quality of work as well as the quick turn around time. Damaged it on Sunday took it in to the shop on Monday morning and had my truck back by Wednesday after work. It was detailed and super clean inside. Very happy with how I was treated at Bannisters body shop.
Everyone at this dealership makes you feel at home and taken care of. Riley, Tammy and Rob were great to work with, they put together a deal that I believe made everybody walk away feeling satisfied. Their support through the entire sale was above my expectation. Thank you!

Fantastic sevice when purchasing our new Honda CR-V, from beginning of the process to the end. Everyone was helpful, polite and genuine. Our salesman Riley Preston was wonderful. He listened carefully and heard exactly what we wanted. He followed up on everything, to make sure we were happy all thru the process. I would highly recommend Riley and all the other team members at Bannister Honda.
Overall, purchasing the vehicle at Bannister was a positive experience. I did find the behaviour of the sales folks a big strange when it came to actually making an offer. We both felt, do they actually want us to buy this car? That said, the folks were pleasant and helpful. And most importantly, we think we got a great vehicle.
Great service, friendly staff. In the past, when we’ve bought a vehicle elsewhere, the salesman handed us the keys and we drove away. However at Bannister Honda, our new vehicle was brought into a separate (heated) showroom and the sales rep (Riley) showed us how to use all the features of the vehicle and answered all our questions. We got unethical service. They always call you while your vehicle is on service. You will receive a call and they always ask additional service with extra money. Please be prepared to pay extra money. I recommend other mechanic shops!
I love the whole service experience. They let me know if something needs attention while they are servicing my car so I won’t have to come back or note things to keep an eye on. They are courteous and timely. I feel my car has been well cared for and I can drive with confidence in it’s condition.

New Leasing Experience
We initially went to Bannister Honda to look at a used Honda CRV that I had spotted on their used car inventory. We ended up taking a 4 year lease on a brand new 2014 Honda Fit which we absolutely love !! Our Sales consultant was Scott Shirley and he was just marvelous to deal with; soft-spoken, knowledgeable about anything and everything to do with the Honda line up of vehicles, as well as being friendly, patient and accommodating while answering our hundreds of questions! Jennifer was very professional as well and a true delight to deal with . She also took very good care of us and explained all of the intricacies of the financial side of our transaction clearly and concisely.
All in all, this was the most pleasant "car buying" experience we have ever had and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bannister Honda to anyone out there who is in the market to purchase a vehicle!
Used car purchase
The Subaru we bought was well detailed and presented. It drove nicely, some minor issues were addressed by Udai with the service department. The sales manager gave us a good trade in allowance for our Odyssey and made arrangements to sell us winter tires at half price when Fall comes. So far the car is performing well and we like it a lot.
When shopping for a car in the future we would come and see what Bannister has to offer.

We love the Hondas and my whole family have been driving Hondas for a long time..They are great. I first walked into this dealership off the street for parts about 14 years ago, never having been through the doors before. They did not know me from Adam. I was treated like royalty - one would think I'd already bought several cars from them or had just purchased a new car! The parts guys were helpful, friendly and knew their stuff. I left there thinking, WOW, I've never experienced that level of service. I later took my used Honda there for service and I was never disappointed. Last October I accompanied my son to this dealership where he bought a used Ridgeline - again the entire experience was positive from start to finish.
Flash forward to now, we needed to upgrade an aging car. We looked at several cars before we decided on the Honda, which was not a hard choice. The entire experience from kicking tires to the actual purchase was top notch once again. All staff take the time to talk and listen to you, they walk you through the entire process, introducing each member along the way. Their attention to you as a customer is always first and foremost. Buying a Honda was easy, the product speaks for itself, deciding to pick Bannister Honda for our purchase was just as easy.
The fact that several of the same staff members are still there from my first visit 14 years ago tells you something..........
My third Honda's a charm!
Just leased my third Honda (consecutive) and was really pleased to see the pencil sharpening and efforts being made for this to work for me in my situation. Always enjoy Gene's stories as he works with me and Jennifer 'gets it' when it comes to the needs of a self-employed woman and single parent! to most people that might not mean anything but for those of us in those circumstance, it prefaces all the decisions we make. Love my new ride and I'm looking forward to alot of adventures in 'Elliot' .
