I used to be very happy bringing both my Honda, and other branded, vehicles here but unfortunately my experiences have been on a steady decline in satisfaction to the point I will no longer be spending my money here. Some service desk staff are great but others are beyond useless. The mechanics seem to miss some really basic stuff and sometimes it's scary (like letting me leave twice with faulty brakes they had supposedly fixed). Prices for the same service change every time I go and it's always more than what is quoted. Sorry, I gave you guys my business for a decade but you drove me away.

Let's all have a moment of silence for the other car dealerships on Vancouver Island that have to compete with the level of service that these people provide at Discovery Honda in Duncan.
My wife and I are young people. We're just starting to create credit for ourselves and are beginning our lives as new parents. After visiting another Honda dealership we felt we were treated like a couple of bank cards in a human body. But then I called Joe here at Discovery. What a lovely human being this man is! The truth about buying a car is that it's entirely about the customer, and Joe makes sure that you know that. He treats people like people and sees them that way too. It's not about the money, it's not about the upsell, it's about helping someone into the lifestyle they are after. Thank you, Joe you are wonderful.
I couldn't sleep at night if I didn't speak about Ross and all that he and his team did for us to get us what we needed. Hours and hours of negotiations with the bank (like I said we're building our credit). When the bank gave him an answer but we couldn't find something to fit that need he called them back. He fought for us as customers and at no point was he going to quit and say no. We appreciated his ambition and kindness throughout the entire experience, what a legend.
Rob finished everything off for us. What a character. Ready yourself for a good laugh, and some deadly salesmanship - a true beauty.

I've been taking my Honda Pilot here (driving up from Victoria) for a couple years. They have the absolute friendliest, most service-oriented team of any business I know.

I recently traded in for a slightly newer Pilot and there was a bit of an issue/misunderstanding about pricing. Long story short, they were very reasonable and did the right thing.

The auto industry is not typically known for it's honesty and integrity, but Discovery Honda is absolutely top notch - I can't say enough good things about them.

I bought and returned this vehicle a week or so ago.....after it presented with a random flashing traction control light which happens while in park and while the vehicle is in gear but not moving!
Honda allowed Toyota in Duncan to inspect and view the videos and to try and troubleshoot why this is happening with the vehicle but it appears to be a very unique problem and Honda chose instead of fixing it to REFUND my money in FULL the very day that I took it to and spoke with the Manager at Toyota.
I do hope they have rectified the issue before the next sale and unsuspecting buyer......???

Started off great at this dealership, thought I’d buy my next car from here. The free lifetime oil changes I was promised with my car, suddenly disappeared from their system after a few oil changes. Oddly, so did the paper in my glove box where I had them write it just in case it slipped their mind. I don’t trust car dealerships, almost gave this one a 5 star rating, but waited to see if the ball would drop. It did. They’re liars. I’ll never go back and will buy my new SUV elsewhere.

I'm editing my review because our last few visits to the dealership were not 5 star worthy.

My wife's buying experience last year was horrible, from pre-sales, to post-sales, to financing, but anywhere can have a bad day right? Even afterward when it could have been made right, it wasn't. Too many mix-ups, bad communication and were second guessing everything. The experience even warranted a call to Honda Canada.

Having her Honda serviced here was also not something we looked forward to. Had we not have traded her Honda in for another vehicle, we had decided we would take it elsewhere for servicing. Their prices are expensive, which is fine if the service and integrity is there, but it wasn't for us.

Lastly, I was recently in an accident and needed a new car. On 2 occasions I stopped in at the dealership and wasn't greeted or helped or acknowledged. This was the final deciding factor for me. If sales wasn't great, post-sales wasn't great, and service wasn't great, why wouldn't I buy my car elsewhere? Actually, I did.

I have had really good experiences bringing my car in here for regular servicing as well as repairs. When the starter in my car broke, the staff were very transparent with what needed to be fixed, and how I could keep the cost as low as possible. I really appreciated this. They have worked speedily to do the regular servicing on my car, which I also really appreciate. The staff are very friendly and helpful. When they didn’t have someone on staff who cleaned the cars, they gave me a free coupon to a car wash at a local gas station. Great job to all the staff at this location, I’ll be back for sure!

Can’t say enough good about this car dealership! I contacted every Honda dealer in BC and Alberta to buy a new car. Most gave me the usual old lame car dealer runaround asking me to show them quotes from other dealers, giving me their “best” deal (but with room to move) and adding in extras and forgetting to mention them. I contacted Gregg at Discovery Honda, he actually did offer me a great deal (far below any other dealer) right off the get go. He honoured that deal and we bought a brand new CRV from him. The process was seamless and painless and we got a much better deal than our local dealer or any other dealer was prepared to give us. Everyone at Discovery Honda was amazing to deal with! No hard sell for extras or warranty, just the information to know what is available and make an informed decision. All in all, a pleasure to deal with! We will definitely be return customers and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new or used Honda!!

I purchased a Honda Accord from Discovery Honda 18 months ago. They claimed that there were no accidents and mechanical issues. A couple days ago my fuel gauge stopped working so I took the vehicle to a different Honda dealership for diagnostic. The technician found that the wires had been slit before and was tapped up with electrical tape. Prior to the purchase of the vehicle, the dealership did a full inspection of the vehicle and said there was nothing wrong with it. Very dishonest dealership.

The dealership has got contacted with me and resolved the issue. The dealership took responsibility.

This review is for the Service Department. We have our vehicle serviced here due to living in close proximity to your location. However, we'll be taking our vehicle elsewhere in the future. Unfortunately we've had too many misinformed, misdiagnosed & unpleasant encounters to justify using your service department any longer. The last two visits your service team failed to reset our oil levels on the dashboard, and we were blamed both times by your dept by not serving the vehicle on-time. Every single visit you have misquoted repair times, even for something as simple as an oil change or tire rotation, leading to missed work and having to rearrange our whole day. Quoting 2 hours and having it take nearly 4 is not acceptable. A simple call to let your clients know you're running late is all that's needed. Additionally, we had a rattle in our car for months that your team claimed never existed after bringing it in countless times. Eventually, your service department guilted us and advised we may even be charged if we keep bringing it in without a 'real' issue being found. Staff are short, often rude, blameful & take no consideration for client needs. We've just had enough and have given numerous chances over the last two years to rectify the bad service.
