Went in for a quote to fix this gap that appeared on wheel arches, was told the wheel arches being replaced would correct issue (not only that, but they charge you like $80 just for an estimate), after that I decide to replace them to fix the issue. After they were replaced, the gap still exists (see pics)!

They said they had no way of knowing the issue was caused by some other issue, except I specifically paid them to identify the issue, and they now-identify the issue, charge you for giving wrong advice, and then charge you to fix the wrong item.

They refuse to take any responsibility, and to top it all off, I was asked at the beginning if I would like my car washed, I said yes, and they didn’t even do that.

Worst parts department I have ever seen. I have been with Honda over 10 years, never any problems, but the Campbell River parts department is seriously sub-par.

You are better off driving to Courtenay.

These guys are the definition of shifty car salesmen, this ones for you Nick. I decided to give the dealership another chance being under new management and boy was that ever a mistake. They prey on the vulnerable and use it to their advantage. They knew getting a loan on my own was a huge deal, however didn't respect how I felt or my wishes, made me feel as if I was going to loose out of I didn't take what was offered to me. I tried to leave multiple times as I had two young kids with me and they literally pawned my children in with icecream after telling them I was done and leaving. I have recently contacted nick to let him know about the issues I am now having a couple of months later. He rudely took my call, trying to blame me for issues I've presented to him. We talked about refinancing into something different, and then, Radio silence. The last message I recieved from nick was letting me know he'd have some options for me, and I quote "momentarily." That was 26 days ago. I can confidently say I will never bring my buisness back to them, nor will i recommend anyone I know to waste any time or money in such a poorly managed establishment. The level of professionalism here is so piss poor, and this is supposed to be the sales manager. Over all it was an extremely overwhelming experience with my two small children in tow and they used that to their advantage. Never again.

A few weeks ago we purchased a used vehicle from Campbell River Honda. Rex, Raphael and the entire team treated us with respect, kindness and helpfulness. We were not pressured and when we did come to a decision they were terrific in getting us on the road as quickly as possible. Recently we had a question about the functionality of the vehicle and they took the time we needed to better understand how the car worked. Every time we visit the staff are welcoming, friendly and are always willing to assist in every way possible. We would not hesitate to recommend this dealership for new or used vehicles.

We had our 2007 CRV towed to the Honda service department at the suggestion of the tow company after I experienced some brake line issues. The service department was closed, although my husband did speak to someone on Saturday and gave them a heads up.
I called late Monday afternoon and they hadn't looked at the car yet. Best case scenario, the service advisor said, was they would look at it that night-worst case scenario, the next morning. Come late Tuesday afternoon, they still hadn't looked at my car and offered me the same explanation. Finally by Wednesday they looked at the vehicle and determined they needed to order a part and my car wouldn't be done until Friday. Fast forward to Monday morning when we were finally able to get out to the dealership, my car made terrible noises the minute I drove off of the lot. Pulled a U-turn and headed straight back. After some argumentative back-and-forth about what could be causing the issue, they tried to write it off as a brake issue (even though the noise was happening while accelerating), rust on my rotors, or it having sat for days??
They had the mechanic come out and take the car for a drive. The noise was loud and obvious. He hopped out of the car, crawled underneath it and bent something back into place that THEY had damaged during their repairs. Noise gone.
Not sure I'd be as dissatisfied with the experience if there was more honesty with turnover times, or if we weren't blamed for the noises coming from my car that did not exist before dropping it off.
I've dealt with rusty rotors, I know what it sounds like. Brakes felt and sounded fine.
I suggest taking your customer's concerns more seriously and trying to be less combative/argumentative, although I do expect a sassy retort as that seems to be their customer service style.

Very, very disappointed ... you gave me an job estimate of $1,200 for complete job(all costs in) and handed me a bill for $2,200 when done .. an added cost of $1,000 over estimate .. very poor!! (especially since my 2008 Accord has only 91,000 kms on it and is in mint condition) ........ Too early to see if the work was done right .. no problems with car running coming back to Courtenay... .. I can see a couple hundred dollars estimating error, but for such a basic maintenance job as timing belt and related replacements, just don't see how you could be out $1,000 ... I'm 80 years old and on modest pension, so this is significant .... not likely to use your services again...

Honda management: they appreciated my feedback and understood my concern for the size of the cost variance ... they were able to make a satisfactory adjustment to my account for a future service ... I appreciated their immediately contacting me to resolve my concerns..
Other than the estimate vs actual cost concern, their service including use of a courtesy truck was very good... I will be returning for a future service... RF

Really rude young salesman. Assured me I could order a CTR (which I knew was incorrect). I go to the dealership and of course he tells me unfortunately they cannot order right now because the “system is down” (lie). Next I ask for some information on the 2023 CTR and he just looks at me like a deer in headlights. Bought a used 4Runner from CR Honda. I was happy with the pricing and vehicle. The vehicle needed a number of repairs and I found the repair shop to be extremely friendly and responsive. The pricing was fair for both the vehicle and the repairs. The business office was friendly and professional. Only complaint is the interior of the car was not cleaned before I purchased it. It had food and spilled drink, stains, fur etc. It was barely wiped done. I ended up getting it detailed locally it was that bad. I'm not sure if that was a function of the deal we struck, maybe that wasn't included. But I've purchased many a car from dealerships and I've never had one not cleaned first. Overall, the people were nice to deal with and I felt fairly treated. I'm very happy with the vehicle. Just one small hiccup.

They offered very low for trade in. Tried very hard to get me to take the low price. I said no then they said they can make it work by adding $6000 to the new car purchase. Didnt seem to listen to anything l said or requested. Over a week of trying to get me to take $7,000 for my trade in l go to Courtenay and they offer $10,000 right at the start. Much better experience than CR. Be careful. Don't get ripped off. Shop around for sure. Think on it and sleep on it. Don't rush into a bad deal.

We loved our second time back, compared to our first experience with old management. This time around, we felt valued and heard.

We were sold a Dodge Journey as our first vehicle, and we had tons of problems with no warranty to help us out. Plus, just before we were about to drive to Campbell River to make the trade the Dodge Journey took a turn for the worst and in the end a $4500 shop bill was in front of us.

After an abismal experience at a different Honda dealer, I decided to make the drive to CR Honda. What I was met with was a competent staff that was helpful and was more than willing to work with me to ensure I got the exact vehicle I wanted. The Sales manager Scott, the floor salesman Drew and Finance manager Stacey, worked hard to get things initiated with bringing my zero km Honda in from the mainland.

Although it took over a week to get my vehicle "due too its location on the mainland", Scott and his team kept the comunication lines open, through phone calls and text's to provide updates on the delivery timeline and/or possible colour changes. This to me was outstanding service, being the customer and dropping $$$$$, you want to be in the know, as waiting for a new car that is not in stock can be agonizing.

When it was time to pick up my 2015 Si, I was given a detailed breakdown of the car, cautions on how to avoid engine damage during the engine break in period and a detailed explanation of the cars safety systems. The finance manager Stacey, was top notch and worked hard to ensure a smooth transaction...A+

Overall, outstanding customer service, great communications and a no BS approach to selling a car made my purchase as problem free as they come.

Was looking for a new car. Tried my local dealer and they didn't seem to enthusiastic about getting the job done. So I was referred to Scott at Campbell River Honda. I called him up and told him what I wanted, and he literally had me driving away in my new car by the end of the day.
I came back for my first service and the experience was just as good. They were professional, quick, and even gave my daughter and I a ride to Elk Falls and back to go for a walk while my car was in the shop.
Can't praise these guys enough!
