DO NOT GO HERE. They thought they could rip off a young female. Quoted me $1000 over what they quoted my dad for the SAME work. In total we had 3 different quotes, and left my quote with incomplete totals that were in the air. My warranty company told me something was fishy with their pricing and how they submitted their work order and warned me to be cautious. They wanted $900 for labour ALONE for a 3.5 hr job...
My warranty company called me as soon as they spoke with the dealer to let me know my deductible, how much everything should cost, and what they would cover, hourly rates etc. My FULL cost was covered, labour and all.
Then Nathan at the desk emails me with a completely different (and of course higher) cost 15 minutes after speaking with my warranty company. He tried telling me my deductible was $190 when it was $100 and that the warranty would only cover $95/hr when they covered $115/hr.
Do not listen to these scammers. A few hundred may not have hurt me but imagine what else they have done to others. I will never take my car here again.

We came to Thomas Buick GMC to look at trading in our vehicle for a new one. The sales person, at the time seemed friendly and showed us a few vehicles and let us test drive one. We had no issues. It wasn't until we got the contact later that things went down hill. He said he would contact us and we can look at numbers together and figure something out for the vehicle we were interested in. Well, when he contact us, he told us ONE number and he was not willing to move at all. I won't go into to much detail but he was very rude. Never in my life have I ever seen service like that before. Not to mention, the vehicle we were interested in was not in selling condition and needed repair. That alone should have been enough to move some numbers but that seem to have no effect on numbers at all. We couldn't even see the interior of the vehicle due to parts being inside. Very disappointing this all happened. We would have purchased the vehicle had it not been for the terrible service that we received. I guess we will be looking elsware for purchasing and trading in our vehicles. I've read other reviews and they seem to be good so maybe we just had a bad salesperson or just plain bad luck. We only dealt with the one salesperson so can't speak to the whole place.

Recently purchased a truck from Thomas Buick GMC. The process was simple, quick and entirely trouble free. Called the dealer after finding the truck on Kijiji, spoke to Gary over the phone and as he quickly answered any and all questions I had about the truck, he followed up every answer he provided with pictures taken right than and there. It was refreshing to deal with someone knowledgeable on the vehicles they are selling and have all the information on hand. I also worked with Debbie in financing and again a stress free easy going process. Despite being very busy everything was handled extremely quickly and efficiently. Took my Acura here to get safetied/minor repairs. Friendly service, quick turnaround and even some complimentary repairs for things I didn’t realize were an issue. I would highly suggest this be your go-to dealership in Cobourg. I live in Toronto and plan to use Thomas Buick as my go to spot for repairs.
I'm so disappointed with this dealership, they don't keep their website updated and just waste customers time. currently it's showing in cobourg they have seven GMC Denali trucks available including a Grey & blue available. We drove from Brighton only to see two white ones on the lot. Please Hire someone for your website and stop wasting customers time showing you have more inventory available then you really do. We were serious buyers.

Bought a used 2014 Silverado. Asked to make sure all service was up to date as expected with any used car purchase. A squeaking noise was coming from the front of the truck upon it's initial test drive. Salesperson assured me it would be fixed upon delivery. I also made note that the alignment of the steering wheel was off slightly and that needed to be done before delivery. Well I arrive, sign the papers get on the road and guess what the alignment was still off and the squeaking was still there and the truck interior was covered in some slippery interior spray all over. Didn't take me a day to figure out that the front mud flaps were broken in half and squeaking against the body of the truck which clearly has been going on for a long time due to amount of damage. So I took them off and now need to replace them at my expense along with the damage and rust underneath. I also had to make an appointment to get the alignment corrected which took them over 2 hours to complete! Not even 1000km later the truck needs a front wheel bearing as its just howling along on the highway. Up to date on service!? The engine air filter was a birds nest and the cabin air filter could have it's own wildlife. NOTHING WAS DONE TO IT. Some technician just singed his name on the safety slip. These guys are crooks! Don't go near this place. Shady used car sales, not sure what technians they have working in the shop but they need to be investigated by MTO.

The bulk of these Trucks purchased at Thomas Buick GMC in Cobourg starting in 2007. All my GM Trucks are Serviced ONLY at Thomas Buick GMC because of the people there. From the Sales Staff (I buy from Richard Rammler-New Car Sales Manager) and would purchase from any of the Sales Team if the need arose.
