Absolutely horrendous service. Was taken advantage of and charged $700 dollars for a $100 dollar part. Called back over and over to discuss billing for over a week without any call backs. I would never take another vehicle to be serviced here. Will also be ensuring our company fleet vehicles no longer be taken to the shop.

On the phone I was quoted $159 for out of province vehicle inspection which is why I brought my car in here but then after the service which I’d say was pretty good and fast, I was charged $200 and when asked the clerk he simply said after taxes it comes to that. It’s bogus and if they gonna charge more better have an good damn explanation for it or just honour your quoted price my money don’t grow on trees. Service was good don’t get me wrong but the way desk guys handle my business I gave em one star

Paid $21000 to have an blown motor 2008 F350 6.4 swapped out with a wrecker motor ($2000.00 over quote).
Things requiring repair before leaving dealership that were not addressed.
1. Turbo coupler not replaced.
2. Serious coolant leak which they did know about.
3. Broken gas piston for hood while truck was in the shop.
4. Transmission fluid not topped up.
5. After driving for a couple weeks serious oil leaks found. A Star auto Wrecker (Prince George) contacted about 3 month warranty.
Was told rear main seal is on whoever did the install.
6. Westline Ford Vanderhoof, BC told me nothing they can do. Not on them.

Wife went in for an oil change appointment. She left 1.5 hours later with instructions to re torque tires. Didn't know the tires needed to come off for that.

Low tire light also came on during the drive home, so I'm thinking it would have been been more efficient to check the tire pressure instead.

I was very happy with my experience at Westline. I ended up buying a new truck there because my older F350 experienced mechanical problems just as I was driving past the dealership at about 2:00 AM on a -27 winter's night. In the course of the next couple of days I got the old truck repaired and talked myself into buying a new one. At no point did I feel under any pressure from the sales people - the new truck was my idea. Once I got interested then the sales person (Randy) I was working with was very helpful and very knowledgeable as well. Once the deal was made I continued on my way to Terrace with the new 350. To ensure the safety of my old truck and the camper the dealer volunteered to keep them at his residence until my return. A couple of weeks later I got back to the dealership and they installed the camper equipment on the new 350. At that point I was able to transfer the camper to the new truck. Once again, help was freely given and very much appreciated. I found the whole staff to be motivated, friendly and always willing to jump in and help. A good crew for sure!!!

I bought a new 2011 Ranger from Westline in 2012. The sales and finance people were pretty friendly and got the job done quickly. I liked how the salesman brought the truck up to the Fort for us to look at. Since then, I've been really disappointed with the follow-up (little or none) and the general lack of respect, I guess because I bought a cheap little truck. All I asked for extra was some mudflaps and it was like pulling teeth to get them, then they were put on like a kid did it. The truck was a good little truck for us, but Westline would never have someone look at it when I had minor mechanical problems..."make an appointment...probably next week, etc etc.." I ended up getting my servicing done in PG. The same when I was haulling something with a friend's Super Duty that he bought there and the computer was shutting the truck down. I stopped at Westline, and same thing..."make an appointment". Well, that didn't help me when I had to get the job done that day. I asked if they had a courtesy truck I could use. "NO, we're too small for that." So, when I went looking for a new truck this month I drove right by Westline. Bought a great new Frontier from Northland Nissan. Treat your customers better. You've lost this one.
