PG Ford really hit out of the park on my purchase of a 2015 F150 last month! Excellent service - Quick responses to all of my questions - Open, honest communication about the condition of vehicle - Found a price and model that fit my family's needs. I live in a remote location and it's really tough to feel comfortable about a big purchase that you can't test drive, but Dusty was able to hook me up with pics and video to help me get a closer look. I wanted to thank Cory Lemiski Service manager at Prince George Motors, my wife & I where traveling from Alaska heading back home to Hamilton Ontario, when we ran into some major problems with our F150 Ford Truck. They where very helpful in getting us fixed up, so we good arrive home safely and finish the repairs that still needed to be done . My wife had to be home by a certain date, so he was very helpful !

PGM has a bad reputation. After a quick perusal of these reviews you can't deny that. But I'm here to share a very positive experience that is an indication that PGM is turning itself around.

Now I usually am able to do my own truck maintenance but with my work schedule I just couldn't find the time. I needed my break pads and rotors changed and even though that is a very simple job to do, I was in a bind. So, very reluctantly, I brought it into PGM. Admittedly, I walked in with a chip on my shoulder and if any of these guys exhibited any sort of action that I've read about in these reviews, I was ready to bite back. What I was met with, however, was a very pleasant and accommodating service rep who was able to take my vehicle in that morning. She explained that there were a few vehicles that were being worked on but that I could expect it to be done by the end of the day. That was ok, I sort of expected that so I had made arrangements for my wife to take me to work. At work I received a call from the service rep asking about my preference in break pads; she explained that the mechanic noticed I used ceramic pads and was wondering if I wanted them replaced with the same type. She went on to say that it wouldn't take any longer and that the parts were readily available. I appreciated that the mechanic noticed this detail and didn't just install some generic organic pads. So by the time I was done work I headed over I was quite pleased with my experience so far but I was ready for the other shoe to drop when receiving my truck. I fully expected them to point out that this needed attention, or that needed fixing and they'd be glad to do it at my next appointment, but I was very surprised when the report came back and the rep mentioned that the mechanic made a note that said 'washer fluid was topped up but otherwise truck is in tip top shape'. As I paid my bill, I made mention of this to the service rep that was helping me and she explained that yeah, PGM has gotten a (really) bad rep in the past but the new service manager has been making strides in turning it around for them. She told me that the manager has only been around for less than a year but he's clearly initiated some fixes and changes and has generally been a positive influence when its come to addressing the issues that the department has had. I told her my story and I mentioned that I was fully expecting a struggle when I decided to come in with my truck but it's actually been a smooth experience. Before I left I wanted the rep to express to the manager my appreciation for the work that the manager has put in to get a sideways ship upright again; PGM has a long way to go to dig itself out of the pit of bad reviews, but if my experience is any indication, they're making moves in the right direction. The rep had a funny thing to say as I left: 'yeah, he's good, but don't give him too much credit, I think he's an Edmonton Eskimos fan!'

TL,DR: Judging from the reviews, I went in expecting the worst, instead I came out very impressed. Give them a shot, under the leadership of a new manager things are turning around!

Came in and asked about an oil change! Josh went thru the required service ad i said i need to get done as i was leaving town on buisness. He took it seriously and was able to get the truck done. TOP NOTCH service.

Their maintenance service is horrible. They do not believe you when you tell them you are experiencing problems. They keep the vehicle for way longer than needed. They order parts specifically for your vehicle and give them to someone else! They forget about appointments you make with them.

The sales staff were quite good and I enjoyed purchasing a vehicle for here.

I had some work done at PG Motors on my car in the winter and was very disappointed! The first time when they booked me in for an appointment after an inspection, I arrived and the part hadn't even been ordered like they said they did, so what a waste of a day to drag 3 kids under 5 out. Then after it was "fixed," I was still having problems because they forgot a step in the repair; very frustrating. When I went back to speak with them about it, I was treated very disrespectfully and they accused me of lying. Very unnecessary! I ended up fixing it myself...
