Just picked up my jeep from getting an all over inspection done, warranty parts on order and even cleaned my wrangler for when I picked it up! It was done quickly and they were very flexible with drop off and pick up. The new lock box kiosk is super convenient.

There was slight miscommunication over the price between the appointment coordinator and service but they honoured the price I was given with zero fight.

The technician I request, Jeff, has previously worked tirelessly to fix an issue I had with my radio when other dealerships just shrugged at me (turned out to be a from factory defect nothing to do with them). His work is always precise, clean and he will happily answer any of my hundred questions lol.

I’m on my second jeep now and they have serviced both with very few issues. And even then they’ll work with you and help where they can. Service has always been happy to explain what needs to happen and answer questions, very transparent! They treat my vehicle like their own and I never feel uneasy leaving it in their care.

Service wasn't bad, understand the delays in the parts which were replaced do to bad parts at the time of manufacturing. I like they did well on getting done but too much expensive parts which might have not even required to be replaced.

Hope the Jeep or Chrysler starts doing it better otherwise I don't feel like buying another Jeep.

I think the reason for the lack of service and delays in service was perhaps because of the looming lockout. After reading these fairly recent reviews and hearing about the lockout, I have no desire to do business with them again.

Staff should never say the work will take two hours, and end up being longer, as that can turn customers away. No wonder new car sales fell and the sales staff are locked out for three months as I post this.

I seriously think the company should just give in to union demands, as they are losing money because of the lockout, and they probably need to get a deal reached soon or they will go out of business in a matter of time.

Worse service turn over time is horrible for starters. Bought the TOP warranty on the truck which means absolutely nothing other then cost me 40 dollars extra every two weeks. I find myself looking for a parking spot to even bring my truck in on days of service clearly overbooking is a issue here. There has been not one singular time that I havnt had to fight to basically get my truck fixed even with there top warranty plan. And my favorite quote is when my truck is gone and I call at the end of the day to get a update they say "your the next one",which I respond in saying ok well I need a rental which is offered for the top warranty. Then reply no sorry your truck is not in the shop so therefore it is drivable. Which means if I do want my truck back I would have to bring it back the next day to get in the back of the line once again. I will be trading my truck in soon and going elsewhere.

Purchased extra warranty on a fully loaded Caravan, not worth it! You would be surprised of the amount of things/issues that’s not covered. One Example: Van has less than 90k on it and every lug (rims) cracked off when changing over tires to winter. The issue in this case is that each lug has a cheap casing over it 19mil and the actual inner lug is 18mil. I’m extremely lucky I didn’t get a flat as I wouldn’t have been able to change the tire(s). This is only one recent example.

Over the past 4 years since I purchased this van (New not used) I’ve had multiple problems including driver and passenger seat issues, calipers had to be replaced, had to install 4 sets of pads and 3 sets of rotors (again van is less than 90k), electrical problems, mechanical issues including automatic sliding doors not opening, etc...

The sales team wants nothing to do with it and the service team agreed with me that on this recent issue regarding the lugs that “yes”, they are poorly made.

I strongly recommend not purchasing a vehicle from this organization as the quality is terrible plus the sales team needs a serious retrain on how to effectively manage customer expectations.

I purchased a Jeep Compass in June of 2019. I have had nothing but issues with this vehicle from the beginning. My warranty will be up soon and I feel that it should be extended through no cost of my own as I am paying a $36,000 plus, loan for this vehicle and I can only hope that it will last as long as I am still paying it off.I am told it will cost an extra $3,000-$5,000 to extend the warranty. My money is just as valuable as yours. The Jeep name would portray "Quality", which has been a huge contradiction to the actual experience. Very disappointed.

Came in at 8:00am for oil change and keyfob programming. Was told it would be ready in two hours. So I waited instead of being picked up. Asked again at 11 am for a explanation on how long its been/ going to be. Was told its the next one in, after the current vehicle gets its oil topped up. 130pm I asked again about status of vehicle and they said it would be done soon.... I could have been doing something better with my time if they could have just been honest with how long it was going to be.... Worst crowd to deal with.... Also my last dealings with them I had a wheel alignment and now my steering wheel is off from center. Told them during this visit and was told there would be an extra wait to have it looked at... as if I'm not already waiting. I said leave it. I just want to get out of here.... worst place to deal with ever. Currently 1:44 pm. Vehicle is still out in the lot not brought into the garage for a simple oil change and fob program.

Extremely frustrated with Hickmans! We bought our 2016 Dodge Journey in 2017. It has been nothing but trouble since. Our latest issue has been my rig saying "vehicle not in park" when in park and not reading in neutral. My car has been in 3 times since August for this issue (along with other issues), it is now October and I have to bring it in yet again because another part is on back order!
Extremely frustrated and annoyed with the lack of knowledge and run around with Hickmans.

Never in my life have I had such horrible costomer service from the service department. Bought in a 2018 jeep wrangler from this store. My family has been long time customers of Hickman in Carbonear for as long as ive been alive. Excellent service and people. Move to St. John's and chooses this location only to have 14 missed calls from us trying to get a hold for an update on our jeep and messages to return calles that were never returned. Droped our jeep off Dec. 9th because driver seat was folded into the steering wheel and it would not slide back into a proper position. We were told it needed a part and will take about a week. A week had passed and was told it needed another part that should take about a another week. It is now January 2nd they have called and told us it was ready. My problem isnt with the wait time or the fact that they probably should've known what was wrong the first time they had to order parts. But with the customer service, and because of that i will travel back to Carbonear before i go back to this location.

Horrible experience in the service department, cant be trusted!

To keep this short - my vehicle sat in their lot to 3 weeks UNTOUCHED!
After trying multiple times to get a hold of someone and being hung up on, I was shocked to learn that who I was speaking with was unaware as to why my vehicle was there in the first place!
Finally I told it was unsafe to drive but the part wasn't in sooo was then told I could pick up my vehicle......instead of keeping a customer safe and offer a rental, I was told to pick up the vehicle....

There's is actually too much to this story to continue. I'm just so disappointed! Please don't bring your vehicle to Hickman Chrysler Dodge Jeep for service! You will be left with a huge hole in your pocket and feel like you've been fooled! Apparently a good experience here is hard to come by and could've just been your lucky day!!!

In the last month alone my truck has spent 5 days in the garage for 1 issue which still is not completed and to make it worse this time when it came back it came back with the problem not fixed and damage done to the truck.

Don't waste your money or your time, go somewhere else!! I know I will be.

A month ago we were in looking at purchasing a new 2019 Rebel but this is the last straw and its safe to say I will never purchase from here again.

If you want to know half of the horror I have dealt with feel free to ask, I will be more than glad to save someone from dealing with what I have had to deal with.

I find the service staff and parts staff very helpful. They take time to answer any questions I have. Very pleased with that. Sometimes I have an early appointment and the truck is not ready when I had hoped for but sometimes mechanics run into issues that seem to pop up. It happens. Only thing I find a pain, is trying to get through to service when the truck is in, but I have found this issue with the other brand truck I had from another dealer.
Over all, I'd give the staff a 5 * rating.
Bodyworks on the other hand does good work but I'm not fond on the attitude there.

Bought the new front brake rotors and pads from Napa, email asked the dealer if they would install customer supplied parts (also wanted to have winter tires changed), answered yes, appointment booked.

Brought the vehicle in (brand new purchased from the dealer years ago) first thing yesterday morning 7:45 am, job finished today 3:00 pm. Paid $621.83 (tax included, my parts, front brake replacement and change tires, receipt photo attached below) and left.

Some questions:
1. 2 hours labor to get the brake replace job done which is OK, but $150 (before tax) labor per hour?
2. I swear to god I never mentioned anything about "Wheel Alignment" during the whole process; I was never asked by anybody about the alignment; I never approved the alignment job. Then how come "customer approved wheel alignment" is showing on my bill?
3. Can someone explain me what that $44.99 (before tax) "CUSTOMER PAY SHOP CHARGE FOR REPAIR ORDER" means?

1 extra star of the review for the few services I had here during the past years (most not as bad as this one tbh, and the shuttle drivers Mr. Patrick and another young man they are both very nice).

I had this dodge vehicle for years now, and was seriously considering the new Durango recently to replace it.

I'm surprised Chrysler Canada hasn't intervened with the management/ownership of this dealer. Rude staff, incompetent manager, and horrible service each and every time is their personal guarantee. I could write an expose about their numerous shady practices. I know for certain that they did not test drive my vehicle for problems, as I had to bring my vehicle there three times to fix a problem which they never did fix, but certainly charged me for. In each case, they told me they test drove it and didn't notice anything, and in each case, I could hear grating underneath the car before even leaving Peet Street. I brought it to another garage and they fixed it in one visit--grating suddenly gone. Imagine that!!. (Btw, I've had 20 parts fail on a Jeep in three years that's up to only 60,000 kms -- but they deny that there's any problem). Other Jeep dealerships are pretty decent--this one is a farce.

These guys are horrible. I cannot express how poor the service is at this location. If you have purchased your truck in Alberta (Like I Did) prepare to be treated to 3 day oil changes and a tone like they are doing you a favour by letting you bring your vehicle in. Safe yourself the pain and bring your vehcile to The Royal Garage. They are much faster, friendlier and appreciate your business.

1 Star is too high for this poor excuse of a dealership. Its a shame because the truck is nice and my service in Calgary at Varsity Dodge was the best I've ever had.

Terrible service. Every time I put my car in for service, it is never done on time. On top of that, they won't even give me a rental despite the fact that I pay for the service plan which is supposed to cover rentals. Ridiculous! I would advise others to save their money. Furthermore, staff is rude on the telephone.
