Dealt with New Roads before and with same salesman. Overall a good experience. Sales (Stef Zangari) went above and beyond to source vehicle and colour we wanted. As is usually the case though, once the deal is struck the Finance folks are more interested in selling you expensive fabric, paint and rust proofing treatments than taking "No Thanks " for an answer. We had to pressure them to honour an in-house incentive which they claimed could only be used for paint, fabric, rust protection or extended warranty, even though we were told by Sales the credit could be applied to dealer installed accessories.

After sales service and followup is good. Highly recommend Marc Murphy as the go-to Service Advisor. Overall, based on 3 vehicles i am pleased with New Roads. The post Sales deal closure, while a turnoff, is fairly typical of the Canadian car-buying experience in my opinion and certainly could be improved.

I was incredibly disappointed by a recent interaction with the Service Department manager at this dealership. My father, a 70-year-old resident of Keswick, had his vehicle brought in for service. He was informed that the repair would cost $800 before tax, and that because the dealership didn't have the part required for the repair in stock, it would have to be ordered in, and he would be without his vehicle for a week. Instead of offering him a courtesy vehicle to use due to the inconvenience of them not having the part required, he was offered a rental at a rate of $40 per day, on top of the $800 (+tax) quoted for the repair. A senior citizen on a fixed income with no other means of transportation, and they couldn't offer him a courtesy vehicle to use while they waited for the part they needed to come in (something he had no control over). A man who spent 30 years of his life working on the assembly line in Oshawa at the General Motors plant, and who has loyally driven GM vehicles his entire life. Is a $200 car rental fee really more valuable than a life-long, brand-loyal customer? Is $200 really worth losing his next vehicle purchase, and the vehicle purchases of other family members who hear this story and are justifiably disgusted? That logic doesn't make sense to me, nor does the math. This manager, and this dealership, need to learn a lesson in what good customer service is. They need to understand that customer loyalty is not measured in dollars and cents, but in service, appreciation, and respect. I'll be encouraging my Dad, and everyone else I know, to look elsewhere for their next vehicle purchase.

Where to start? And this is the first time of all my new car purchases I have done a Google review. I was looking for a new vehicle and filled out a general finance website, I received a number of emails and phone calls, most of which upon further research were or appeared fly by night. Then I heard from Wendy Sicard at New Roads via phone and email. I thought " here we go again " but this was different, I told her due to my work hours I would prefer to initiate the process via email, which we did, she was polite and efficient in her replies which gained my trust, over the next 3 weeks I was changing my mind and vehicle to the point that anyone else would have wrote me off, but not Wendy.
She still maintained timely responses and never gave me any indication I was no longer a priority. In the end, the vehicle I chose was in such demand only a few dealers had my model and colour, she worked the phones and emails with these dealers and got me my vehicle at a far better finance rate then other dealers, she went to bat for me and I am humbled by the hours of back and fourth this took her.
I picked up my vehicle today at New Roads Toyota and the dealership was great, and Wendy in person is as every bit as a professional as she is over email and phone, I was walked through everything thoroughly and it was explained clearly, she wanted to make sure I knew everything I was signing and getting with dealing with New Roads. This to me was a first class experience and the extras they give you shows they care and go above and beyond the competition, I highly recommend New Rodas and Wendy, if you're not sure, reach out and give them a chance, you will be glad you did.
I will recommend to anyone who asks, Wendy and New Roads after this first class experience, and they will be my only choice going forward.

I do not feel that the quality of certain vehicle(s) 4500 series duramax have not wore the badge of the bow tie well at all, I've had the pleasure of maintaining multiple types of GM products of various years. What I see in the lots now are electrical nightmares with not enough information given to the CONSUMER.
It is not your responsibility to make the vehicles, I understand, you want to live comfy so you sell LOADS of exceptional vehicles.
GMC was once the only manufacture I would buy. Now. I would only, maybe buy a GM truck , not new.
I'll give you 2 stars because you or a machine was nice enough to have a response, but you will never get me to love GM like I once did.

Better than that, regular maintenance on my vehicle is always handled well by Scott Summers and the service department at Newroads.

Booked an oil change on their website for noon. Got there 10 minutes early. Got told there was at least an hour and a half wait. I told the lady I had booked a noon appointment on their web site and that I wasn't just walking in. she said that didn't matter that I still would have to wait. So what's the point of booking an appointment on their website if it is still first come first serve. The person I was speaking with was not very friendly either. A big waste of my time. I'll take my business somewhere else. After three weeks of contacting the dealership about my issue the manager finally called me back. He was very helpful and he did rectify my problem. I will give this dealership another try the next time my car needs service.

I purchased a Chevy Equinox from this dealership last year August. Last month the car`s engine light turned on. I brought it to the service department of New Roads GM for diagnostic and they did an awesome job repairing the vehicle at no cost. The service manager Mark made sure that the car was repaired properly and also right away arrange a rental car for me while the car was there for repair. I have purchase cars from so many dealers and I have not seen a dealership this professional. Everyone from the front desk staff to the managers always do their best to help. This is the second car that me and my family have purchased from them and always love the experience with get from this dealership. Finally, I can make a review for this dealership(NewRoads Chevrolet), why? Because I bought a new car from it, I want to know will I get any trouble or problem from them after my order is made before I made a review. I made a order on end of August, wait about 2 months. FINALLY on October 2*, 2018, I picked up my new 2019 Chevrolet Bolt EV. In this 2 months, my first salesman Dorel(Thank you so much!), help me a lot on getting a great deal as he can(other dealer give me little bit better, but its too far from my living) and he kept doing a nice job after we made a deal(keep following and keep in touch for when I got a question after, but too bad he no longer in this dealership now.) Now, my second salesman Moe continued to kept the service great after Dorel pasted me to him, everything I needed and asked, he always kept in touch and done well. Thank you so much for their hard work. And of course, the manager Sarah, she is so pretty, nice, and always have a shinning smile on her face. She kept doing a nice, fast and clear jobs from the beginning(when we sign the order contract) to the end(at the day I pick up my new car). Done well and thanks again. Of course, the service department I didn't visit yet(just pick up a new car, then need the go doing a service, I don't think I that bad luck...touch wood, touch wood), but I wish they doing a great job also. By the end, I can said New Roads Chevrolet is one of best dealership I meet before. Of course this is only my own experience, but wish this can help.

I was shopping for a (lightly) used pickup truck in the Newmarket area and happened to notice one on the lot that looked like it would fit the bill. Clean as a whistle and only a year old. Called the next day and made arrangements to meet up with Michael Small and was very impressed with his knowledge about not only this truck, but vehicles in general, how option packages are built and whats included in them, warranties and protection for the years to come. After a car accident and learning my car was a write-off, a friend recommended I go to NewRoads GM Cadillac Buick of Newmarket. From the moment I walked in the door and was greeted by the friendly receptionist, I got the feeling that something good was about to happen.

I was then was introduced to the most wonderful salesman Tony Ladas. I told my story to Tony and he took me from feeling nervous and apprehensive about buying a new car to feeling relaxed and confident and happy to have come to the Dealership.

Being in the car accident, of course wasn't my choice. I wasn't financiallly, emotionally or mentally ready to buy a new car. Tony guided me through the different Lease and Buy options and I basically felt he was holding my hand through the entire process. There was no secret adgendas, no leaving me alone to "ask his boss" this or that, Tony was very friendly, funny and empathic explaining everything to me and ensuring I was totally comfortable with each step we took.

Due to some difficult life situations, I had to ask my father to co-sign for me and being that my Mother is handicapped and can't be left alone, Tony made the 6 hour trip to see my father to get the paperwork done. Tony went beyond the call of duty as far as I'm concerned.

I was so surprised and delighted that the entire process went so quickly. When it came time to leave with my new car, I was completely blown away to find that many of the Dealership staff gathered outside by my car and gave me the keys to my new car and made a huge fuss over ME!!

I sent a "Thank you" letter to Tony to thank him for everything he did and for treating me like a "somebody"! I also sent a letter to General Manager of NewRoads GM Cadillac Buick, Jim Van Dusen to let him know how impressed I was with every member of his staff that I came in contact and the process of buying my very own first new car.

Tony Ladas has 22 years of experience in the car business and it certainly shows. I can't be more honest about how thrilling the experience was for me, I was actually brought to tears of joy!!

I love my 2014 Chevy Cruze and meeting Tony and the staff of NewRoads was the best thing I could have ever done for myself. I highly recommend that you don't think twice about what dealership and salesman to go with!! Like Nike says.... "Just Do It!"
