I recently purchased a 2022 Sierra 1500 Elevation Limited. The truck is great but the wait I had to go through was very annoying. My bill of sale said delivery would be on the 16th. Found out on the 17th when I paid for it that the truck is still being transported and should be in by a few days. A few days later it arrived but then I had to wait 72 hours for detailing and the shop to add attachments. I would not have minded the wait, it's the fact I was lied to about initial delivery and strung along for several days that ticked me off. When I asked if I could have some free gas or some other sort of freebie I was told there was nothing they could do. They told me I had two free oil changes, I asked if I could switch them to free gas instead. Same response, nothing they could do. So again I'm fine with the truck, I love it. But I hope they enjoyed my $75,000 because they will never see another penny from me. I won't even be using my free oil changes, I'd rather pay for them elsewhere.

Just purchased a 2016 Sierra from Tom Smith with Patrick's help. He replied to my inquiry immediately, was not pushy and was very thorough in explaining everything about he vehicle. After noticing that Android auto was not activated, Patrick told me to come back and they would fix it (the media centre needed a software upgrade which the service dept didn't seem to be aware of). Upon returning for the upgrade, the tech ran into an issue which he couldn't resolve, but Patrick promised to pick up my vehicle at a later date (which he did from 30 minutes away and left a loaner) and their specialist upgraded the media centre. Thanks Patrick.

My friend has had just a horrible experience with GM and Tom Smith.
First the new car under warranty needed major engine work after 8,000kms. Yes, it's under warranty but the car hasn't been fixed for two weeks and at least another two weeks before parts arrive. Dealer offered a low end loaner, not appropriate for my friend's needs. Don't know why anyone would ever buy a GM ) product anyway. GMs quality has been horrible for years and continues to decline.

Went to have an oil change, 2 reverse bulbs replaced, 6 screws($14.00 each) for the air box and an engine flush and received a $406.00 bill! Was charged $60.00 in labor to have 2 bulbs replaced ( labor was more than the parts), $60.00 in labor for the screws to be replaced and $60.00 in labor for an engine flush for a total of $180.00 in labor! My first and last time having my car serviced there. Happy and friendly staff but ridiculous labor rates.

Built what I wanted on Chevy site, had option to search Ontario for vehicles closest to build. Number 1 match found here. They sent to my home 250 km away from Midland. Delivered vehicle scratched, kept the plate portion ownership, and misinformed me of cost for sticker and left me without it. MTO replaced at cost to me. Sales manager said he wouldn't reimburse cost to me for MTO and insisted it be driven back to midland to be buffed, i preferred it done locally to me. Sales Manager emailed only and was arrogant, did nothing to work with me and added 500 km to vehicle with no compensation to warranty or wear on my new tires I just replaced. Go to your local chev dealer if they have something you like, have them deal with these guys, stay away.
