My car broke down when it was -25 outside and I was stranded in Steinbach. Phoned ledingham and they said no problem, have it towed and they'd take a look at it. Was super thankful they were able to take it in last minute! No appointment and they were able to keep my car overnight to have it fixed. Very much appreciated the help! Thank you!!

I had an emergency situation with our Buick Encore yesterday at a critical time when it was imperative that I attend at a long awaited medical appointment in Winnipeg that very afternoon. Early in the morning while driving to Steinbach on the #12, the "Check Engine" light came on and the car seemed to lose power. To make a long story short, our Service Manager, Devin Penner came to the rescue and took care of everything so that I could get to my appointment. The situation that caused the car to breakdown while not serious after all did however require some very intense work which would ultimately end up taking several hours to complete, (under GM Warranty.)
I also want to mention the Technician who worked on the car. His name is Scott and I had an opportunity to see him and the car in the shop when I was escorted in to retreive some important papers from the car. Scott had disassembled most of the front end of the car and he graciously took the time to show me and explain all that he had to do in order to get to the defective part. At first I was dismayed to see the car in the state it was in but, I left there fully confident in Scott's workmanship. I was not to be dissappointed with the end result.
And thank you to Devin Penner and Ledingham GM for their customer care philosophy for seeing to it that I had transportation to and from my appointment. The car was ready and waiting upon my return.
It should be recognized that this was a very busy day in the Ledingham Service Shop and my car issue came in without an appointment.

Took my vehicle there cause one side of the heater blowing hot the other side cold. I said do you think it's the temp door actuator. He said probably. He ordered the part and installed it. Called me and said vehicle is ready but that wasnt the problem. He said do you want me to do a diagnosis. I said I thought that would be done before installing a $120 part that cant be returned. So $240 later I left there and my problem was still there. First and last time I would ever go there. Would never buy a new vehicle there as that might be there after sales service.

Absolute worst dealership imaginable. I was told I had a leaking rear main seal which I agreed to have changed. i lost almost all oil out of engine on way back to Vancouver. Ledingham told me I had one year guarantee on parts and labor. I was told by GM dealer in Vancouver that Ledingham installed cheap non GM parts so no guarantee as well as poor workmanship on oil pan. Stay away from these crooks is my recommendation. Truck not drivable as oil slick left wherever I park. Truck cost me $90,000. What a mistake purchasing it.

On my way from Stratford ON to Calgary AB I was stranded on the Trans Canada Highway with one end of my gas tank hanging down, scraping on the road. The tow truck driver suggested taking it to Ledingham in Steinbach. It was a Saturday, just before closing, when I phoned. They allowed me to stay in my camper on their lot over the weekend. Monday morning they assessed the damage and ordered parts. I was back on the road early Tuesday. Absolutely incredible service for a stranger passing through. This dealership and especially assistant service manager Allan Dueck get a five star rating from me.

When they're good they're really good, but when they slip up it can make you feel like they don't care about the quality of their service they provide to their customers. If you do the drivethru oil change I recommend giving your car the once over and pop the hood as I have had an incident where they forgot to put the oil cap back on. The forgotten oil cap is the most egregious sin they've committed and they did make it right which earns them an "average" in terms of rating.

This is my first time posting a review. I normally don't bother but when I receive excellent customer service I certainly would like others to know about it. After receiving poor customer service in Winnipeg I reached out to Ledingham in Steinbach. I e-mailed Devin Penner, the Service Manager, explaining the diagnosis of my vehicle at the Winnipeg dealer. Devin looked into it for me and took the time to give a thorough reply. This was the first sign to me of good service. It seemed that my vehicle required timing chain replacement which GM offered an extended warranty on for the 2007 and 2009 years. Unfortunately the coverage was not for the 2008 and 2010 years and I have a 2010. Devin assured me that he would do what he could to see if GM would be willing to provide any assistance and if they couldn't his dealership would offer a 15% discount on parts and labor. Unfortunately this is a massive job that requires removing the engine from the vehicle, so there was a lot of labor involved. Devin provided me with an estimate and also offered the use of a courtesy vehicle while mine was being fixed. So I agreed and brought my vehicle in on Monday morning. I was greeted by Service Advisor Brendon Blezy who was very pleasant. He started the service order and sent me on my way with my courtesy car. During the course of the week they encountered some difficulties with removing the engine due to a seized nut, which required removing the passenger seat, cutting the floor, welding the bolt so it wouldn't spin. This added another 3 hours to the 15 hour job. Sadly on the Monday that I brought my vehicle in Devin's father-in-law unexpectedly passed away, and he was gone for most of that week. I was communicating with Brendon throughout the week regarding the repairs. Brendon made sure he provided regular updates via e-mail. The vehicle was finished on Friday. They washed the vehicle and cleaned the interior. I met face to face with Brendon and Devin on Friday afternoon to go over the bill. Unfortunately GM was unwilling to provide any assistance. But, in the end I walked away a very happy customer. Despite many unexpected hiccups in the process Devin was very understanding and did his very best to stick to his original estimate, even though there were some items he overlooked and subsequently didn't allow for. In the end I feel I was treated very well and I have nothing but good things to say about my experience. I would definitely recommend Ledingham for service repairs. Thanks so much to Devin and Brendon for making a difficult situation a very pleasant experience.

Dont buy unless you're mechanically inclined, the "174 point inspection" means nothing. They only pass the safety no other inspection is done.
I dont like leaving bad reviews but in this case I believe it would be wrong not to.  My name is David Fehr. After long debate on which vehicle to purchase I found one at Ledingham that would do. Now this is a 2015 Sierra with power trane warranty left. I am not a Mechanic but noticed that the engine oil cooler oil line(common) was leaking prior to purchase. Under warranty, still doesn't make sense why they wouldn't just do it as they can get reimbursed back from gm before selling to someone. But that's ok it is under the power trane warranty, I'll get it done close to home(wpg). I brought it in immediately to a dealership for oil line replacement and they saw that there was also large leak on transmission coolant line(1min look). I emailed ledingham immediately. I thought I was being fair by asking that they supply the part(supplied by them, $100.00 part) and I would pay for labour in Winnipeg when I get the oil cooler line done at the same time. Well no. They did not come to the table on it. I would say proceed with caution when purchasing from them. They obviously didn't do a thorough inspection and wont stand by what they sell. Id like to see what's on their "174"point inspection, obviously not the transmission coolant line. Go to a more reputable dealership that actually does a certified inspection! If I could post pictures of the leaks I would. I had no problem with bringing in the vehicle so they could see the leak and that it was my word. They said they would not cover the total cost. Only the 50 percent discount(cost of part to them). I plan on bringing this to BBB.

I was later contacted and they have provided the part! It was corrected.
