Spend more time going through your vehicles before selling them. Called about an issue and no one there bothered to call back, won’t buy from them again nor will I recommend anyone to them. Have the decency to at least call or email back
Purchases a new vehicle with a roof rack and carrier mid March. When we picked it up, the roof carrier had a bunch of scratches. (I should also mention that the car itself had scratches but have been promised that they would be buffed out when we went for our first oil change). We took it home with promises that the parts manager would get back to us. Horrible experience when we got it home as the directions we were given to remove it were wrong. 45 minutes later we finally got it off to find the actual manual, giving very different instructions than the dealership. Product is also defective. Many discussions with the manager(apparently they thought it was a great idea to sell us a demo floor model at the cost of a brand new one)and the salesman later, 6 weeks goes by and we are finally informed that the new one has arrived. Scheduled time off work to make the trip to get the new one AND GUESS WHAT?! They ordered the wrong one. Wasted trip and more promises that the correct model will be ordered and would be here within 3-4 days. 2 weeks later and I’m again following up with the salesman (who never checks in with us). Took 2 days for him to get back to me “sorry for late reply, it’s here in the back. It was marked off as delivered”. Nothing else. No comments. No hey, wanna schedule yet another appointment to get the correct one. My sister wants the same vehicle but why would I refer her to you, even with a $500 referral gift if I get this kind of service? So disappointed
Where do you go to buy a vehicle with no pressure? I went to Sherwood Buick GMC. I visited a 4-6 dealerships over a period of a couple of weeks. But when I walked into Sherwood Buick GMC I had a very comfortable and relaxed feeling. I was absolutely blown away with every aspect of my experience from the beginning to end. We had a bit of a hiccup after the purchase (Right guys?) but even then the professionalism and how they treated me with respect was amazing. They went above and beyond making things work for me. I'm sure at one point they must of got tired of hearing from me but none-the-less they they took customer service to a whole new level. If you are ever looking to buy a vehicle I highly recommend Sherwood Buick GMC. In my mind they deserve 10 stars. Five doesn't cut it. So, a huge thank you to the following:

Leased a new truck with them and they were amazing, even during this shutdown they were super easy to deal with. Accommodated every request, were super careful and made sure everything was sterilized before delivery. Hardest part of the whole process was dealing with my own insurance company. If you need a new vehicle definitely go here, the team there is awesome. Phil , Tim and Christian all were extremely helpful had nothing but good things to say about this location.
What can I say? This dealership is an example that others need to follow and learn from, any business in any form of sales can learn how to treat customers from this team. I contacted Bryan late in the evening one day, who immediately had Justin contact me the very next morning. I sent my trade-in details to them along with the truck I was interested in and was in my new to me truck in less than 24 hours. Bryan, Justin and Ryan did a flawless job, no run around, no sales BS, just straight up raw, old school customer service. With everything going on in the world right now, you guys need to be damn proud of your dealerships. Went to get an oil change as I usually do at Sherwood Buick GMC . Was told two of my tires had a small bulge in them and they both need to be replaced , both of these tires I purchased in June at the dealership (less then a year ago). When asked, I was told there was no warranty on them on the tires and that I would need to pay full price for new tires .
Now I am unsure as to how that breaks down on the dealerships end but it seems very unreasonable for me to be buying two new tires , to replace the semi new tires I already have on my car.
This is my first bad experience here , and it is very disappointing - as I love the people , and the atmosphere at this dealership.
If someone could contact me for an explanation, or a resolution I would very much appreciate that as I do not want to search elsewhere.

The sales staff was awesome. Ray was informative and found me exactly what I was looking for. Although they are still sales people there wasn't the pressure to buy right here right now that most places put on the buyer. We will be going back for our next purchase.

Top rate service and reception with advisers readily available to handle all my repair needs and answer any questions I had brought up. Adviser kept me up to date on moment car was ready for pickup. Transportation was provided to and from home back to dealership with minimal waiting time. Nice to be able to have washer fluid on the passenger side working like new again. Also brought to my attention was the fact my new car warranty was due to expire this year. I gladly paid the $100 cost for complete vehicle inspection without hesitation for the peace of mind alone.
Shout out to the young lady who booked my vehicle in over the phone. Great personality, very pleasant to talk with. Same goes out to Rob, appreciate you taking care of the transport needs for myself, again very easy to speak with. Extremely prompt at getting me in and out with minimal delay.
To sum this rather overly lengthy review I'd like to mention the fact I live in Edmonton with a GMC Buick dealership located much closer. Which I have gone to on a couple occassions and have nothing negative to say but I go the extra distance out of town to Sherwood Park Buick as I enjoy the service I receive there, from repairs to my vehicle, to the warm friendly greeting from the helpful knowledgeable staff.

We had a very disappointing experience with Sherwood Buick GMC, and feel that they were quite dishonest with us. We bought a 1 year old car from here. The sales folk are VERY eager to sell you a car. Not overly pushy, but very eager.
Our negative experiences came after the initial deal. We were promised floor mats for the whole vehicle and 2 keys for the vehicle, both in writing. The vehicle was delivered with no floor mats, and only one key. It took 4 weeks and 5 calls to get the 3/4 of the floor mats for the car, and then the salesman basically told us they weren't going to get us the last mat because it was too expensive. With the key, we chased the salesman for 8 weeks and were finally told that the dealership wasn't going to honor their promise of two keys because the keys cost $300. Basically they shrugged their shoulders and said "we have your money and that's all we're going to do".
Very very disappointing from what was supposed to be a top-tier dealership. We will never buy another vehicle from this dealership or their affiliates, and recommend that you don't sign any papers until you have actual proof of every element of the deal.
Honestly I just came in to have a simple oil change done and they went above and beyond checking everything on my vehicle as I drive 200 km daily and need to keep it in top order! On top of that they gave me a free car wash. I have work that has to be done to my vehicle on which I was going to take to my local mechanic but I have decided I would much rather spend the extra money to bring it here and get a better experience. Was well worth the hour drive and I will never go anywhere else after today.

Overall happy with the sales experience but for finance we worked with Megan, i felt a bit bullied when she responded to my questions (the deal was already negotiated and the vehicle price was agreed on so i didn't get the approach...) Also, she didn't respond to my email and now I have to work with the bank because she didn't setup the payment schedule that I requested...

Late this summer I brought my truck in for service as I was about to embark on an extended road trip that would last two weeks in the united states. Rob (service advisor) was great to work with but through no fault of his own we were left waiting for a part before my truck would be ready. I was given a rental for the duration of the service which I was happy to drive. As the date approached for my road trip it wasn't looking good for having my truck back in time due to an extended wait time for the part. There was a moment the day we were supposed to leave where I was uncertain if our family holiday would have to be postponed or cancelled. Phil (GM) stepped in and was able to pull some strings that would get us on the road on time. We really appreciate Peterson GMC and all involved for going over and above on this one. It was a unique situation that required a unique solution and they delivered! Thanks for saving our family vacation!!! I recently purchased a Sierra 2500 from Sherwood Buick GMC. The employees I dealt with were Ray (sales), Liane (finance), and Brent (manager). I showed up here after leaving another dealership. From initially speaking with Ray he quickly understood what I wanted. He didn't waste any time finding a truck. We took a quick look, and started working numbers on it. (I'd already driven the vehicle, and knew exactly what I wanted. I just wanted to make a deal.) They were very easy to deal with, and within probably 30 minutes from walking into the dealership we shook hands. I then went into finance and dealt with Liane. Again she was very easy to deal with. We didn't sign the bank forms that night because I wanted to think about what I wanted from finance, (Warranties, 3M, undercoat etc...) She still gave me everything I needed to get my insurance/registration in order. I went back a couple days later to pick up the truck, and again everything was very smooth. The truck was ready on time, and the final paperwork was very easy. I did have to bring the truck back the next week for 3M (there wasn't time between when I decided to get it, and when I wanted to pick the truck up). When I brought the truck back in they were expecting it, and ready with a loaner. The truck was ready for pickup right when they said it would be. Overall a very good dealership experience (I even waited for the 3M to make sure that went smoothly before putting a review). I would highly recommend Sherwood Buick GMC if you're in the market for a new vehicle!
Picky me, owned 35 autos for a million miles. Sherwood Park Buick got the job done at a good price and a good rate. Friendly. Complex mods challenge them as it would anyone but they are up for the fight. They don't say no. Thats the way to roll.

I would highly recommend avoiding GM and this location specifically. The truck we leased from them is a lemon. The transmission went after less than 120000km. They've had the vehicle for almost 3 weeks and are almost completely incapable of fixing it. The customer service we've received has been awful. We have a family vacation planned and they wont lend us a vehicle but they certainly are keen to lock us into a new lease. If you must buy GM I at least recommend another location. We have a Sierra 1500, unfortunately.

Spent $66k on a new truck at this dealership and if it wasn’t for Chris in finance I would have cancelled the deal. Where do I start? Truck was supposed to have rain deflectors installed on the window sills, a center console organizer in it, and black emblems ready for pick up. Had none of it. Very minor but annoying, especially after the customs employee told me he would have them done, and my salesman said he would follow up. When I showed up and mentioned they weren’t on the truck it was like the first time we had ever talked about it. Again, minor, but an example of very poor service. (I came back the next day to talk to the customs guy about it and he said he forgot and that he just sold the last set of rain deflectors he had so I’d have to wait for them even longer). After a quick walk through of the truck with their delivery guy, he sent me into the finance office and said he was going to get all the sales stickers, build sheets etc removed for me. I came out after finance to shake Ray, my salesman’s hand, and head home in my new truck. They called him over the PA system to find out that he had left home. Never shook my hand, said congrats, thanks for your business, NOTHING. WOW. And still have. It received a phone call, or text. Unreal. I then stepped outside to find that all the dealership stickers were still on the truck, nothing had been removed as promised earlier, and left for me to remove myself. So here I am with Chris from finance peeling all the dealership stickers off after dropping nearly 70 grand at their store. Hands down the worst experience I’ve had at a dealership. But it gets better. A few days later I gave the parts manager a call to see what my options were for getting some different tires on the truck. He spoke to the sales manager and said he would sell me the tires I want (KO2’s) that normally retail for regular $500 per tire, at their employee price of $339 per tire. Wow what a deal! Too bad the tires retail for $338 at kal tire. I’m not too sure where he’s getting the $500 from...
If you prefer unprofessionalism, god awful service, and being lied to then Sherwood Park GMC is the place to go.
I won’t give these guys another penny of my money, I won’t even be bringing my truck here for the four free oil changes.
The only pleasurable part of my entire experience was dealing with Chris in the finance department.
Jade was very helpful, very honesty, polite, mature, and very very accommodating. They helped my mom get a vehicle that was right in her price range and exactly what she wanted. Very happy with the service we received.

Had to bring my truck for out of province inspection and it failed on a few things. Mechanic was very professional with showing me the work to be done when I asked, explained what had to be removed and changed to fix the problem, and also showed me his manual to explain why it failed so I knew it wasn’t a pointless repair. Work was also done very fast. Getting oil changes they seem to be very good at finding issues other places miss, are good at educating on what the issue is, what causes it and what to keep an eye on between changes. I’d give 2 stars for labour cost but that’s every dealer. Staff wise 5 stars compared to other places I’ve been to.
Next time you are looking for that next big purchase, be it a new or used vehicle, be sure to ask for Matt... Rarely do you enter a dealership and expect genuine service, through many years and many dealerships I have been through there have only been 2 real individuals I have ever had the pleasure meeting. I was referred to Christian Davey through my brother. I needed a vehicle that would meet my requirements but would fit within a limited budget as well. Christian found a great little car for me; fuel efficient and manual transmission, just like I wanted, at a price I could afford. He stayed late into the evening to accommodate my schedule, and was so easy going and friendly through the whole process. He never made me feel pressured to buy something I didn't need, and he made buying a car a much more relaxed situation than I would have thought possible. I especially appreciated the way Christian made me feel like a friend and a real person, not just a number or a paycheck like some salesmen do. Christian even went out of his way to help me two weeks after I purchased my car when I discovered a problem with the wheels; he made it right, made sure my concerns were addressed and showed genuine care regarding my happiness with the vehicle and my satisfaction with my purchasing experience.

Being from a smaller rural area I have to deal over the phone lots when searching for a new vehicle. Chris Seewalt answered promptly and professionally, answered all my questions and offered all services possible to make the sale. Sadly due to travel distance to the dealership in excess of 300km, I could not make it in to view the truck and had to settle for a closer dealership.
