Dropped my wife's truck off at 10am. Phoned around 1230 for an update and they couldn't find her in the system. Drove over there and trucks still in the lot. Talked to staff and apparently my appointment time is a QUE TIME... Didn't know it takes a whole day to do a tire rotation. Don't take your vehicles day unless you have a whole day to prepare for. Still waiting for the truck still. Still not done after almost 5 hours...

One star because the people in the service department were friendly. I was having issues with the controls in my steering wheel (gmc terrain) paid $200 to walk away with no further information and only advised they would need at least another 2 hours ( another $400) to even begin to figure out what was wrong.. I truly do not believe they even LOOKED at my vehicle and just took my $200. With the way the economy has been and rising costs on everything, I held off getting any further investigation. Fast forward two weeks (& warmer weather) all issues resolved - on their own. While others are suffering during these times, this service department I am sure is not by just charging a base of $200. And yes, I did make the service manager aware to which I never even received a follow up call. Only get service here if you have money to burn!

Recently bought a Pontiac G8 GT from them. Overall pretty good experience, salesmen Ale was polite and helpful made the process easy along with the finance team. Only grievance is for whatever reason they didn’t bother to detail the interior upon pick up, despite cleaning the outside. Took about 2 weeks to book an apt to get it done (in part due to there detailing staff being sick). The detail job on the interior once done was OK, they missed a few spots. Overall it was a smooth experience, I just wish I understood why they felt that they didn’t need to detail a newly purchased vehicle to begin with.

I recently purchased a Trailblazer from Tim Butler. I shopped many dealerships and Tim was the only salesperson to ask questions and find out what I was looking for. He managed to find out that the SUV and colour I wanted was expected in and held it for me. I loved that he was not high pressure...just took the time to find what I wanted and made it happen. Lisa in Finance was wonderful to deal with and explained everything without any pressure.. I have yet to deal with the service dept. but have been very happy with all my dealings so far with Northgate.

I recently bought this 2021 GMC Sierra and loved the service that came with it. Tim was the man I spoke with and is the best salesman I’ve ever had the chance to deal with. No pressure to purchase the vehicle, which is something me and my wife always look for.

Prior to arriving I told Tim I was looking to get a Yukon or Sierra. When we arrived we sat down and Tim helped us brainstorm what is best for my family and it’s need. Ended up walking out with a gorgeous truck!

I just bought a 2022 Duramax AT4 from Bernie. He was quick to answer all of my questions. Absolutely no pressure at all to buy the truck. They also don't do the whole 4 square scheme at Northgate it's on a nice print out with all of the numbers ready to see. I was extremely lucky because a unannounced truck showed up at the dealership. Recently my company decided to trade in our high mileage Chev 2500 for new so I began the search for a replacement. After contacting several Calgary area dealers I was surprised that only two could be bothered to reach out to me.

After 1 week with no success I decided to extend my search area to include the Edmonton area and this turned out to be a brilliant idea. I contacted Northgate GM and not only did they get back to me the same day, also within 24 hours we had a deal for a new GMC 2500. Mac and Tom were efficient, knowledgeable, courteous, and professional and certainly have earned this rating.

Moving forward I will go to Northgate for all my vehicle needs.

The service department here is terrible. Very unorganized, very confused and super inconvenient for the customer.

I come here because it's close to my home, but I would rather drive way out of my way for an oil change, than deal with this location.

Tony should be sweeping the parking lot, rather than checking someone in for a servicing. Sorry, nice enough guy, but the smarts of a stick. I prepaid for my servicing using the GROUPON app. Poor Tony, wouldn't know an app if it hit him in the face. This is now the 2nd time I have used this app at Northgate Chev, and they didn't have a clue either time. So, maybe it's not Tony, but rather upper management who doesn't train their staff, to recognize a very common app/coupon.

I gotta say, I have no desire to return to this location. They are so incredibly scrambled, and you can literally see it on all the employees' faces. THEY ARE NOT EVEN BUSY!! But, they are scrambled and seem to know absolutely squat about customer service. Even the parts guy seemed "checked out" by 11am, with no desire to attempt professionalism or class while taking calls.

You may only be a few blocks from my place, but sorry Northgate Chevrolet Buick GMC, but I'll never return. Horrible experience!!

it started when I showed up for my appointment the service bays were empty and I didn't recognize any of the staff...... not a good sign
and WOW this place is gone down hill. All the old employees are gone. Replaced by a young staff and service manager that have absolutely no manners what so ever. They couldn't change all the fluids in my truck and do an alignment in 8 hours. So to recap. They can't get simple jobs done on time with an appointment. They can't make phone calls when the say they will (that's 3 calls) And they don't wear their covid masks over their faces. I have been a loyal customer for 5 years. I will never be going back!
And I've never seen their service bays so empty before.......it's very telling!

We recently purchased our new vehicle here after shopping for one for a few months. They were literally the only dealership we visited that was not pushy at all, and not trying to sell you something that you don't want. That is very hard to find in the auto business.

Because it was so cold out the day we picked up our new vehicle, our salesman Frank had it right in the showroom next to the exit door ready to drive away! Karen handled all of our documents very professionally and quickly.

We have owned many new vehicles over the years, but the experience we had with the staff at Northgate was simply 10 out of 10!

At first they were so pleasant then wham after selling me the car attitude changed drastically

Heated seats were not working and so I asked if they could repair them. As this was one of the features that I was drawn to. First time having heated seats!
So I had a new one in the drivers side installed but not the passenger side.
There was also a huge crack in windshield and was told that they did me a favour and put a new windshield in. As many of you aware that it’s illegal to sell a vehicle with a crack or deep scratch on any windshield.
I was also told several times that it was a courtesy but now their hands are tied and there’s no more money in budget for repairs.

These are issues that should have been completed prior to the inspection report as it was showing all this was completed . Now they say oh it’s a used car and that if I need any more repairs it would have to come out of my own pocket. Oh buy a new car Blah blah blah

Their only concern here is to make a sale

I wonder if it had anything to do with being a female. Because when I asked about the performance or aerodynamics I was insulted (Iaughed at)!

To top it off, I had purchased an extended warranty for 1 year at $3,000 wow this is the service I received. No thanks!!! All they had to say to me is thanks for my business and we can’t accommodate you anymore .

So if this isn’t degrading I don’t know what is.

They totally lost my respect here!!

If I could give a zero rating, I would. They have no regard for you or your car. Told them that my car was breaking because of an underlying issue. This was the 8th or 9th time it was in the shop in just over 1 year. I gave them all the work orders to review and they replaced two items that had been previously replaced in that year and did no further investigation as to what was causing these items to malfunction... My advice? Take your car to a different dealership! That is what I did a couple days after I came here (because the engine light came on again) and now the issue is finally being dealt with properly, no thanks to these guys.

Bought a new Equinox from Northgate and could not be happier. Got a great price on a 2013 model after checking around on the web. None of the other GM dealerships came even close to the rock bottom price. I think they are very HONEST at Northgate in that they do not add any extra fees that other dealerships tend to pile on. They also made for easy financing of which I was also pleased with. While there I noted they were just about to open their quick service bays which will make it convenient for regular maintenance items. What I appreciated about Northgate is that they had several versions of the vehicle I was looking at in stock on the lot. I spoke to a co-worker who went to a different dealership and made a deal but it turned out after they didnt actually have her car available. Not the case I found. I drove my home that day. I would definitely recommend Northgate.

Good Truck, Good People

I dealt with Joe Ramos and Travis Smyth. The truck I wanted wasn't available from inventory so it was ordered.
I picked up the 2014 Sierra on Wednesday and am very pleased with the price and that there would be no extra delivery charges.
I arrived to find both Joe and Travis on time and ready to get the deal done and me on my way.

Travis had a stack of paperwork to go through and was obviously very familiar with all of the various documents and explained everything thoroughly. He offered up advise on extended warranties and even shared his own experiences on how to get some of the best out of the electronics, voice commands etc. He was very professional and helpful.

When I was finished with Travis and the paperwork, Joe already had the truck pulled up front and my plate installed. He took me out and went over every feature of the vehicle. He was very knowledgeable about all of the details and how each would work and how I might use them. Boy,lots of gadgets. Overall very helpful in getting me started and down the road. He finished by having me wheel over to the gas station next door where he filled the tank and the last I saw of him was a handshake and he told me the gas was taken care of.

Overall A+ service.
