One of THE WORST car related experiences I have had.

An update then. It's funny that the general manager responded by saying "loaner cars leave the place quite quickly". Well I returned the loaner when store was closing, and I called the next morning immediately when the store opened. Plus, when I called in your people told me to wait. No one said the loaner was out. The fact that you were looking for excuses is not cool. Owning your mistakes might work better.

Again, at this place, they only want to sell cars, NO ONE is willing to help you if you have any problems at all, that is how I felt anyway.

I had a service appointment, walked in, service advisors are hiding behind a corner. One female advisor saw me but dis not say anything at all. I had to wander around to get some salesman’s attention.
By the time I sat down to talk to the advisor, his voice was like, dead. No enthusiasm at all. He suggested things to replace but without mentioning the labour rate and part price at all. An oil change and micro filter ended up costing me $600. That is still fine because I should have asked before agreeing with that.
While the car got serviced, I drove a loaner. After returning the loaner car I found my house key was lost. So I called the dealer office to help me check the loaner car see if the house key was in it. It should have been a 2 minute thing, but no one wanted to help. It took 2.5 hours and 3 phone calls to get someone to check and let me know the key was not in there.
So disappointed.

I have a 2002 Mini, which had headlights that were not bright enough for my old eyes. The helpful service people (Geori) suggested I get other lights that might be brighter from Lordco and they would install them.
When I returned with the lights Anthony and an assistant ( sorry, I don’t remember his name) installed the new lights in the parking lot, as well as changing the brake light, which was out. Total cost $12.31.
I have been a loyal customer for 12 years and will remain so. Thank you all for helping me be a safer driver.

Good sales dept, but horrible service department manager. Brought my car for service and asked to have the air filter replaced. I am allergic to the dust mites and mold that grows in the air filters. When it gets hot in summer and want to turn the AC on, I get really sick. Until I change my Air filter then I feel fine.
They called me confirming that my air filter was dirty but it wouldn't be covered by warranty because they can only change it once per 2 years...

Following the book and not helping me at all. Why can't you guys look case by case and help customers out?
I thought driving a BMW was about the experience and the service, not just the driving...
I guess I was wrong.
We paid extra to get free maintenance during few years. We wanted to get a peace of mind because we thought that BMW would get our back for small things like that.
The cost of a Air filter is so small. It's not about the money, it's about the principle.

I brought my car in to get some recalls done during the winter. While doing this, they broke one of the valves for the air conditioning which made the refrigerant all come out out and they didn't tell me about it (this likely happened when they were taking parts out of the car, I didn't think to check this in the winter time when I left). I discovered it later in the summer time and got it fixed elsewhere.

From the other reviews I see on here I can tell that their garage is the weakest part of the dealership.

I tried to book a service appointment online and the system was down. After three phone calls and being put on hold for over 5 min each time I decided to go down to the dealership to make the appointment. My appointment was for May 18th 11am. When I arrived (I drove from Duncan btw) I was told oops sorry your appointment was May 25th 11am and I should have got an email confirmation. They didn’t ask me for my email when I booked in person so how could I get a confirmation? I booked May 18th not 25th so clearly the error was done by the booking agent. The apology was super lame...I was told ‘sorry nothing we can do’. My reply was ‘really?’ This is very basic that if you make an error you correct it. I feel the attitude was ‘can’t help so bye’. They swiftly cancelled the incorrect appointment time and gave me my keys back and virtually walked away. I had gone over to sales to speak with a manager and was told ‘no managers on weekends’. Clearly at this dealership money talks and service isn’t a priority.

Great People!! We trolled the Victoria lots for weeks trying to decide what to buy, in our travels we walked onto the Victoria BMW lot and were greated by David Kim, after speaking to him for an hour or so it was decided that we would buy a used BMW. They didn't have the exact car we were looking for, but David assured us he would find us the perfect car. David called us a week or so later to tell us he had found us our car, it was a mint 2008.
