2013 Ford Fiesta - The New Ford 1.0 Liter 3 Cylinder Engine

The Ford Fiesta has been redesigned and is an impressive car. It has added something really small under the hood. The engine is so small that it will fit in a suitcase that you can carry. It sports a 1.0 liter 3 cylinder engine. Amazingly it produces more power than the 1.6 liter engine while delivering outstanding fuel economy. It produces 123 horsepower and 148 lb-ft. torque. Fuel consumption is outstanding at 4.9L/100km on the highway and 6.8L/100km in the city.

One reason that the new Ford Fiesta will be a popular choice is its ability to save the consumer money. Not only is the car affordable, but it will reduce the amount of fuel you put in your car. Additionally it is reliable and will get you where you want to go without any problems. The interior has been improved over the previous generation of the Fiesta. The display on the dash has been improved as well. Before there was a monochromatic display screen which has been replaced with a color one. Now Ford is offering a full My Ford Touch system in the Fiesta. The Fiesta also offers keyless entry and remote engine start.

There is also a premium Sony audio system that has eight speakers. Another feature is its radio data system. For the first time ever Ford is offering its My Key System on the Fiesta. This is a separate key to give to your children that will control how fast the car can go and how loud the speakers can be turned up to. One outstanding feature is the moonroof that delivers fresh air. It allows you to control the view. Plus there is a built-in sliding sunshade and overhead map lights that complete this feature.

The engine is great. For a small car it doesn’t struggle to climb hills. It is the same outstanding package as before. Unfortunately the car makes a growling sound that never seems to go away. Also when you get down to 2,000 rpm the engine makes a little too much noise. Ford doesn’t forget about safety in the Fiesta even though it is a compact car. It comes equipped with seven airbags and a Safety Canopy System and Roll-fold technology. This technology allows the airbags to deploy safely even if the driver or passenger’s head is against the glass. It comes with a Standard AdvanceTrac ESC. This system will help to avoid collisions. It can help maintain control in conditions where wheel lockup and loss of traction can occur. As a result it can prevent accidents.

If you are looking for a new car, you will love the bold new look of the Fiesta. It has the same new front end as you will see on many Ford products. Plus it comes with a redesigned hood.
