What most people love about the 2014 Cadillac Escalade is that it is distinctly a Cadillac Escalade. The SUV is extremely recognizable with its large chrome grille, HID headlights, and always a favourite, 22-inch chrome wheels. This thing has presence, lots of it.
If you’ve ever been in the back of a limousine, the 2014 Cadillac Escalade is going to feel very familiar. Amenities include plush, heated leather club chairs, four DVD players, and the ability to even hook up a gaming console. This SUV is seriously a party on wheels.
The leather seats have some really nice stitching that add to the luxurious aura inside the car and are soft and comfortable. Leg and headroom are more than ample in the second row. However, the third row can get a little stuffy. We suggest keeping it for kids or smaller adults.
When you get behind the wheel of the 2014 Cadillac Escalade, this SUV will overwhelm your senses. Like a fine tailored suit, quality craftsmanship is everywhere. From the leather-wrapped dash, to the detailed stitching, to the wood grain finish, and even a beautiful analog clock to bring it all together in the centre console. To be frank, there are a few luxuries we saw in the 2014 Cadillac Escalade that we have yet to see in competing models. This SUV has come a long way since being a rebadged Chevrolet Tahoe, yep, you read that right. Under the hook of the 2014 Escalade you get a 6.2-litre eight-cylinder engine which produces 403-horsepower. That’s power that you can’t find in too many luxury SUVs these days.
One important thing to consider is that the Escalade is near the end of its product life cycle which means that GM will be replacing it in the next few coming years.

| Power and Performance: | Thanks to a strong, responsive powertrain and somewhat athletic chassis tuning, you can almost forget that the 2014 Cadillac Escalade is one of the biggest, heaviest luxury SUVs--and one with truck roots, at that. With a rumbly muscle-car exhaust note, the huge 6.2-liter V-8 makes 403 horsepower and 417 pound-feet of torque, and it can propel this big ute to 60 mph in only about 6.5 seconds, even though it weighs almost 6,000 pounds. | Interiors and Special Features: | In either regular or ESV extended-length form, the 2014 Escalade can seat seven or eight passengers. The former setup is the standard form, with the second row consisting of two bucket seats. For families needing to carry up to eight, the second row can be fitted with a 60/40 folding bench seat. In standard-length Escalades, 3rd-row legroom is tight for adults. ESV models offer plenty more space, along with nearly three times the cargo capacity behind the 3rd-row seat.
