The Kia Sorento comes with three different engine options. The base model has a 2.4L engine
with 175HP at 6,000 rpm and 169 lb-ft of torque. A higher grade engine is the 2.4 GDI engine
that gives you 191 horsepower at 6,300 rpm. Another option available on the Sorento is the 3.5L
V6 engine that produces 276 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque.
On top of that you get a 6-speed automatic transmission with either all-wheel drive or front
wheel drive. Towing capacity is 1650 pounds with the 2.4 L engine. The 3.5 L V6 can tow 3,500
pounds.
The starting price for the LX is $23,150 while the SX starts out at $33,400. The Sorento is well
designed and looks great which makes it one of Kia’s bestselling vehicles. The taillights are
LEDs and all of its features are upscale. Fuel economy for the LX is 9.8L/100km in the city
and 6.5L/100km on the highway. The SX gets 10.3 L/100km in the city and 7.7L/100km on the
highway.
The Sorento brings you Kia’s new “design language”. This combines sophistication with comfort
